I'm really not sure who wrote the previous reviews, must have been pain by the owner. This place is…read morepiss poor. Supposed to be a field paint only field, yet you are getting hit by paint brought in from Dicks Sporting Goods, or tournament paint by the local teams who apparently have a pass to circumvent the rules. Which if you shot the field paint you would understand. The field paint has to be the seconds or thirds from a Friday run, golf balls don't have this many dimples on it. Barrel breaks and curve balls galore, all while opposing teams shoot lasers at you, because they are apparently Gods children. If you are a walk on, beware the children of God will be gunning for you with all of their fancy equipment and fresh tournament paint Some of the fields are literally just piles of trash drug out of somebodies yard and arranged in a not so organized fashion to be bunkers. Some of the fields really pose a credible injury risk. The one half decent field they had was torn down. The management and staff, well some of them try. The manager there, he has tried to help, but quite obviously is paralyzed by piss poor ownership with his own agenda. Some of the other staffers try to help as well, while others have quite obviously given up and are there for either perks or the mediocre paycheck I am sure they receive. Don't even think about playing a scenario here. The owner stacks the odds by bringing his "professional" team out and arranging them all on one team to completely sweep the people that are there to have fun. The most fun of the scenarios are when it's over and you leave. The actual owner of this place is really in it to just further is personal agenda. He has no real intentions is furthering the sport or bringing in new faces. Back in the early 2000's when this place was under different ownership it was absolutely a blast to play here. Could never find parking because it was always packed. Now you are generally left waiting for people to show up to play against. Just save your money people, 15 minutes further the other direction are some great parks in southern Maryland and Northern Virginia if you want to experience real paintball

I have played fields all over the country and I found this one to be in the top 90%. I would have given the field 5 stars but there was constant issues with the air. If you used 3000, you were set. If you wanted 4500 you were out of luck for much of the time. The manager was fighting an uphill battle with so many players and tried everything he could. He did a great job and I felt he was embarrassed and sorry about the issues. The manager did a great job to keep all of the players happy and the refs were fair and focused on fair play and safety.

I haven't played paintball in several years and this place came by recommendation from a couple of…read morefriends who wanted to play. They have an awesome Groupon deal for $19 that includes: - All day paintball - standard rental gun (Tippmann 98) - goggles/facemask - unlimited air refills - 200 paintballs We had 14 people in our group and reserved play time from 10AM til 1PM one Saturday. Please arrive at least 30 mins before for the check in process (this is very lengthy). We didn't arrive until about 9.45AM and we did not get onto the field to play until about 10.40PM.. Since the staff was short handed that day and we started late, the owner? (older gentleman that seemed to be VERY chill, if you catch my drift) said he didn't care how long we stayed and told us not to worry about anything (and we didn't have to). Since we did have a reservation, that meant we had a referee for each game and were given first choice as to which field we wanted to play. The fields: we played on 5 different fields which were all very different and were designed for specific types of games. We had one field where there was a run down school bus, ice cream truck and over turned car and one large field (half the size of a football stadium) where there were towers/bridge in the middle along with trenches, which was super fun for capture the flag. We also played on this field where we had to storm a house that was nestled on top of a hill and there were four people in the house preventing people from approaching it. Myself, along with a couple of people on my team, had issues with our guns but we were able to get new ones; it was a little frustrating but I knew these type of problems happen. There are breaks in between in each game to rest and reload up on paintballs. This is a very fun paintball place an I would recommend it. It's a nice drive from Richmond, but not that far. SN: on weekends it can get very busy because they also share the same space with walk ons and people who play airsoft.

Therefore, I thought Wednesday was a perfect day since charles county schools had a half of day. It was a cloudy, rainy, & gloomy day but once we got there and up until we left there was no rain. God is good! Parking was ample and directions was easy to find. We were greeted by Josh and he was awesome. He got us checked in quickly and explained all directions/safety requirements to us. Oh can I mentioned he was very patient and knowledgeable. We had the entire place to ourselves and Josh lead our boys (11 & 12 year olds) the whole time. There were many courses he took them on. The moms got to relax, conversate, and watch as he took care of everything. We were there for about a hour with the 500 paintballs package. The boys had a great time as it was their first experience and we look forward to coming back. The only wish is for the company to offer discounts /longer hours during the week as prices can be a little heafty. For example, have special evening/nights that consist of (ladies night only, gentlemen night only, mom & me or dad & me night only, parents vs kids night, half off night only, student discount night w/ report card or studentvue verification ,etc) Thanks SMP

I can understand an issue with manning shortages but there was no update on any of their pages to this effect. The page said only that it's open until 5pm and the only phone number listed is answered by the Camp Pendleton, CA location. Which seems like the only place that seems to advertise or make money. Our last duty station was 29 Palms which was a pretty neglected little field but at least it actually opened on the weekends.

We had a great time. We played on 4 different fields and every one of them was amazing. There are tanks, military vehicles, crates, trees, etc. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours and played 4 games. We purchased the package with 1,000 paintballs and didn't run out. If you are playing with kids, I recommend the paintball lite. The paintballs still hurt but you can only play with other paintball lite players. So, you won't be playing with hard core players that are super competitive. That was a plus for us because we had a bunch of first time players (kids) that were just there to have fun. Tip: bring water and snacks. The closest shop is about 20 min away.
