Amazing experience!!! The Guys were great!!! Took two of my coworkers and we had a blast!!! Only complaints I could have were explained to me beforehand so how could I complain!! The plain was very small only able to take two at a time so I had to wait and go solo at the end. Not complaining as I was able to film from the ground and get some amazing shot!!! Careful making reservations here. After paying the deposit I was sent a do and don't letter prior to the date of the jump. At that time there Were restrictions expressed that precluded me from jumping. I would not have made the reservations if it was listed on the website. I called the office the next day (and several days away from the reservation date) and was told that the deposit was non refundable no matter what. I suggested that they update the website with the restrictions and was told they can't do that. So basically they are trying to take advantage of people deliberately. I was really looking forward to the adventure and they have a good review history so I'm very disappointed with the outcome. Buyer beware. read more

Given to me as a Mother's Day gift by my sons, it was on my bucket list And I am so glad I did it. My instructor Joe was very thorough, always smiling and so laid back all my nervousness just faded away. He always made sure I was good to go and made the whole experience that much more amazing. And you have to do it here. The view of the York river from a parachute...you just have to experience it. Ask for Joe! One minor flaw: you have to tip before the flight. Joe would have gotten so much more if allowed to tip after. read more

I had a very good time on the day of my jump. My instructor Joe would check on you to make you felt at ease before your jump. The facility was clean with a team of professionals that was more than willing to answer all of my questions. The views were amazing of the landscape and rivers. Once you look at your video is when you believe that there is nothing that you can't achieve. I would be more than happy to go back to jump again now that my friends call me "008"! Lol read more

Contrary to most of the reviews, our experience was different. My niece and I were looking for the full experience of a sky dive. The instructors were knowledgeable and explained things well. However; they were not particularly friendly to the point of seeming like they didn't want to be there. Once in the plane, their ear buds went in which signaled they had no interest in conversation. Nothing was said for the 20 minute plane ride except for some instruction before the jump. We were also solicited for a tip before the jump with the instructors present. This is the 1st time I've tipped for service before it was performed. Seemed a bit unprofessional. The jump itself was exciting, but we will be recommending a different skydive company to our friends. read more

I have always wanted to go skydiving so my daughters bought me a gift certificate back in April. It was the best experience ever even walking into the establishment. I received a gift certificate for my Birthday last year (5 stars) - I have to say my first jump was an incredible experience, I got the whole package; the video and pictures, and t shirt. I purchased another tandem skydive which is good for one year. My one year expiration date was August 22, 2024, which was a thursday. I was hoping to jump on the weekend with 6 friends; three had jumped before the other three would have been their first time (all who would've purchased the the whole package). I called and emailed asking to extend my purchased certificate (two days) and was told NO "your jump expires on the 22nd" I was told someone would reach out to me, they did not. I told them I was a veteran and worked at the Veterans Administaion. I could't believe their inability to understand that life happens and kids schedules don't change. One might say that they were booked solid over the weekend; they were not, I checked. These "ex-military" owners saw an opportunity to get paid for no services. They got me, but what they didn't get was the six people that were going to jump with me AND the repeated business from us and our new recruits annually in the future - Your website says for gift certificates "Our Tandem Skydiving Gift Certificates are good for 13 months" and you couldn't extend me two days...SHAME ON YOU! read more

I had a fun time but this place wasn't the safest option for skydiving. It took 15 minutes to fill out paperwork, and we got in the airplane and jumped out. The guy I was strapped to didn't say a single word the whole time. They didn't ID us, so anyone could probably go if they really wanted to. They wouldn't let me bring my GoPro down. Seriously, this was the BEST experience! The entire staff are highly professional, friendly, and safety conscious. They went out of their way to make me feel at ease during the briefing and the plane ride. I chose to jump at sunset, and the view over the river was one of a kind. The jump, plane ride, and view was great but the customer service was less than acceptable. The instructors/employees/etc were rude and obnoxious. They make a lot of snarky comments, and you or your family should expect to be snapped at at some point during your time there. They also expect you to tip before you jump. I understand there's stress involved with this job, but for what you're paying I'd expect at least some pleasantness. read more

I can't say enough about Mark Wilson and his team. Mark made us feel comfortable right away with his level of experience (do the math - over 12,000 hours) and his safety record. He reassured us that his team would take us through every step and be in charge of making sure everyone was safe and doing what they needed to do. As promised, skydiving was an ultimate thrill!!!!! The feeling of the first step off of the plane with the wind in my face was wild. I will remember this day for the rest of my life. After the free fall, when I was drifting down with remarkable views, I felt such joy and peace. I wanted to stay up there for much longer. I felt great comfort looking at the world from above and in the professional arms of Mark and his team. Even the plane ride was an experience. After the dive the team spent some time with us telling stories and sharing life adventures and laughs. I am now motivated to get my scuba diving gear out again. I will also be back for some more skydiving. The paperwork is no fun, however, that is life today, so, don't blame the team. The pictures and video may feel expensive but the team does not pressure sell (and for safety you can't take pictures). I would recommend the pictures or video. I will always remember the day and I wanted pictures to look at later in life. Thank you Mark and team for making my birthday special and helping me conquer many things and move forward. These guys were amazing. My wife and I decided to go skydiving for our 1st aniversary. My wife is really scared of heights and was really nervous going into this. Her jump master was incredible at easing her nerves. He did a great job walking her through the process. My jump master was also great. All I can really say is the whole experience was something we will remember for ever. We had an amazing time and would recommend this to anyone who would like one he'll of a rush. I recently stayed in Virginia Beach with some friends that were coming in from Texas...They decided that they wanted to go skydiving and I figured why not I had never done it. Glad I did... It was a very cool experience that I might even do again with the right people...The staff was very friendly to all of us....They talked us through all the steps.... And when we finally jumped it was AWESOME....Glad I had a good instructor and it is something that. I hope to do again....if you guys are ever in the Virginia. This place was ok - we had a surprise about weight limit when we arrived (my husband is a tall guy). It was on the website but wasn't pointed out - so we were charged an extra $100 for that. We also arrived in a group of four - but didn't realize the plane is very old and small so only two of us could go at a time, which was a disappointment. Joe, one of the instructors, also vaped while we were in the air, blowing smoke in my face the whole time - I was coughing but he ignored that. So overall if was an "ok" experience for me - my instructor, Kent, was fantastic but Joe was in there (in close quarters) vaping so it kind of ruined some of the excitement with him blowing smoke in my face as we climbed higher. In the end, we all had fun and loved the photos - if you do this, be sure to add photos, as the quality was exceptional and our friends and family have loved seeing those all over Facebook. The T-shirts are also a very cool souvenir. read more
