I have used New Leaf Wellness Center multiple times now for my ESA needs with my dog, beginning when I moved to California on 2016. Back then, I would go in person and each time would be an extremely pleasant experience with any of the doctors. The pricing has remained consistent even almost 10 years later. Additionally, they have made it so visits can now occur via phone or online making it much more convenient than needing to go in office and then we'll just email and mail you a copy of your ESA letter. I needed to get an emotional support letter for my apartment building. It was super easy to make an appointment. The appointment can be made via phone and is with a doctor who will ask you questions about your mental health and why you need an emotional support animal. It cost about $100 and they will send you a letter to verify that you need an emotional support animal. This will help with housing so you don't have to pay a monthly animal fee, etc. read more

Newleaf wellness center is great. I had not one but two last minute travel plans and they got me my airline specific letters right before the deadline. Alex and Mario, specifically were great in accommodating me and charging me a reasonable expedite fee to meet the airline 48 hour paperwork submission deadline. I'm very thankful that I can take my pup with me on my flights thanks to them. The initial visit and diagnosis is $100 + $10 for each unique airline letter. They also provide a general ESA letter on their letterhead with the initial visit. All of the other staff were extremely nice on my actual visit, and the appointment with the doctor was extremely efficient and quick. Got my esa letters that worked for Alaska airlines and delta. I contacted New Leaf Wellness Center to renew my ESA letter like I do every year with them. I filled in the form and waited for their call back. So they did when I was walking my dog. I had 30 minutes before the clinic would close for the weekend so instead of waiting the weekend out, I took the call. I apologized to Dr. Morton W. Barke before we started our call for all the wind blowing into the phone. He asked me the questions he needed from me and the proceeded to instruct me on "Yes / No" questions. I cannot believe how patronizing he was with me for not having complied with his "Yes" or "No" request. On his first question, my one-line answer wasn't complicated or too detailed but before I could even finish my sentence, his exact words were "I'm going to ask you the question again and if you don't answer with YES or NO, I'm going to hang up!" I really should have hung up on him but I was raised better than that. At the end of the day, I only wanted an ESA letter to move into my apartment by Monday. I wasn't calling to make friends with him, I know I was very polite, kept my composure as well as my social etiquette and I didn't overstep my boundaries. I didn't deserve to be spoken to condescendingly whether this man repeats this specific procedure one hundred times a day and was having a terrible day or not. My goal was to get an ESA letter and I reached that goal today. He was caustic, overreactive and capricious. I am disappointed at the "treatment" I received. Jessica, on the other hand, at front desk was gracious, kind and patient over the phone. I've been using this Wellness Center since 2017 so my suggestion is to ask for a different doctor, even if he owns the clinic. I'd give this place 5 stars but seriously, man! He left me with a bitter after-taste. He takes it down to 2. I haven't been spoken to like that since I was a teenager in school. So much for a "WELLNESS" center. read more

I am giving this low star review due to your association with Heally as well as your and their lack of resolution to my issue for over a year. I'm including my review I left on Heally, because I believe the info pertains to both businesses since I have been sent back and forth between the two, called a liar by Heally and never had any resolution or even a call back to explain from either. "Hello, I just wanted to say this place totally scammed me a year ago and still to this day not only refuses to make it right but now is refusing to acknowledge their mistake that should be resolved. Last year I got online to renew my MM ID, in the process I asked if I would be able to renew all of my minors ID's online as well. I asked this because on the site I could not put in their correct ages. We were only able to go back to 18yrs old. BUT, Heally stated they could go in manually and change the years to the correct dates. This is very important, because at the time my children were 14, 15 and 17 years of age. They all (as well as myself) have a very rare bleeding disorder called Severe Factor VIII deficiency which cause bleeding, swelling, early onset arthritis, inflammation and bleeding in the joints...it is very painful. Two years ago I switched them off of prescription opioids and onto Cannabis and never looked back. As you can imagine, this can draw some negative attention from those who do not fully understand or accept this choice of ours....so it is vital that their scripts are accurate and current. Back to Heally now, When we finally received all of our cards....they were all listed with the wrong DOB's. All of their cards stated they are 18 and 19 years old! The cards have their actual pictures on them still....so it seems pretty ridiculous and absolutely FAKE! When I tried to resolve the issue...I was told to go into the office personally. We ended up having to not only drive all of the disabled persons into the office after going through the online hassle for 4 patients...but then they even had us pay for the 2nd cards!!! I was told IN the officce, that Heally had to resolve the issue because that is who we dealt with and PAID, yet HEALLY tells me that I must go into an office to resolve this. Now, this year as I got online to renew...and ask why it was never resolved....I was called a liar and told they could not resolve the issue...again, to go into the office (you know, where they told me I had to go to Heally b/c they are who I paid). Seems like a scam to me. I know I got scammed out of paying double price for 3 separate ID's and never even got a courtesy call back after leaving messages. This is the exact kind of thing the government is looking for to limit our access. Could we please just commit to doing a decent job and not screwing the poor and disabled over...or at least have the common courtesy to resolve the issue and NOT call the customer a liar....especially when they have the proof! I'm including the pics of my kids FAKE ID's (with their names and ID #'s blacked out. I'd be happy to share the originals with the company as proof, but they didn't even care to verify or resolve the situation. I'll be adding a review to New Leafs Yelp account as well, since neither has been inclined to truly help us to resolve this (aside from putting myself and my kids out and making us pay double)....the costumer and patient. What would have happened if DPSS was called and I couldn't afford to replace the cards or pay double at the time? Heally screwed up and LIED to me about being able to change the DOB manually then tried to call me a liar to cover it up. I could have gotten my kids taken away from me! You guys are shady. Got my ESA there and got it done quickly, but the doctor is the worst. He is older, and has the bedside manner of a drill sergeant. When I asked him questions and tried to engage in polite conversation, he basically told me to shut up and answer with Yes or No. It was the most demeaning, misogynistic conversation I've ever had. When in the exam room, he saw I had a mole on my arm and physically GRABBED my arm without asking permission to touch me. So gross. I walked out of there feeling humiliated and upset. I had a friend recently ask where I got my ESA certification and almost told her, but then thought better. I'm telling her to stay far away from this place, and I recommend you do too. read more

I had an easy and positive experience with an ESA letter. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. They wrote me the letter, for 100 dollars, and then charged an extra ten for the forms. This will save you much money with airline fees, which are usually 100 per trip. No drama, no frills, easy and effective. Alaska Airlines accepted my letter and forms, no questions asked! This place is a scam. They take appointments online but actually didn't have a doctor available for the time I booked. Didn't bother to send a note telling me not to sit at my computer waiting for a non-existent doctor for a half hour. When I called, they were like "maybe we can get a doc tomorrow". Nope. Bad business. UPDATE. They called me to say I had booked an in person appointment and they "didn't have my info uploaded online" which is not true I had uploaded it all the night before into their system. I received an email and text confirmation. Their system indeed had my info because it sent me a "no show" email an hour later, though I was on the app waiting for 30 mins for a doc. Then to continue to shirk responsibility, the office left a message blaming me for not understanding their "process". That's ridiculous, I don't work for you, I have no way of understanding your "process" unless you share it with me which you did not. It wasn't on the website or in any of the marketing emails they send you afterward. Own up to the fact that your website is unclear, your booking system doesn't work, your Doctor didn't show up for my online appointment, and you wanted to blame it on me. Again, NOPE. read more

I've been coming to ECMM for over 2-3 years now. They are walking distance to my house, located in Washington. Came here on a Monday afternoon and there was surprisingly only 3 people ahead of me. After filling out the paperwork, I waited about 5 mins and was called in to see the doctor. He took my blood pressure and checked my pulse, made sure everything was great (lungs, heart, etc). I had some general questions I wanted to ask the doctor about suggestions for my conditions. Not only was he informative but he even gave me some informational packets to take home to read. After the appointment, you sit down and wait for them to call you to pay. They accept visa and MasterCard and cash. Finished my RX in less than 15 minutes, talk about fast and efficient! Prices are reasonable $40 for first time patients and $35 for renews. Would definitely recommend! read more

I went in for my ESA letter this last Saturday. From the moment I called to make an appointment, to seeing the doctor, to problems with my landlord, everyone at this office has been incredible. I came here for an airline ESA letter. Now that many airlines require their own letter signed by a doctor and not a general letter I decided to stop bugging my primary care doctor. For $100 they write you the general letter and then the additional airline letters are $10 each. You can go in and buy a new airline letter at anytime after you've paid for the $100 letter. I just got back from a delta trip with no issue at all. The doctor was dressed in casual jeans - I didn't recognize he was the doctor but whatever he signed the paperwork. I also purchased some cbd oil for my dog and myself while there. The front desk staff are really helpful and cool. Tip: street parking 2hrs behind he building. I called the day before to set a 3:00 appointment for a medical marijuana evaluation. Their website says $45.00 for 1st time & $35.00 for annual renewals. I arrived 10 minutes early & told the young man at the desk that I have a 3:00 appointment. He didn't ask my name or look those if I was booked for that time. I then see a sign on the desk that states effective Aug 2019 the rates are $50.00 & $45.00. OK they had a rate increase. I give him my drivers license, he gives me a 3 page form to fill out. I fill it out & take it back to him. I ask for a copy once the Dr. signs it after the exam. His response is: $10.00 for copies! WHAT???? another guy corrects him that it's $5.00 !!!!! To copy 3 pages???? there is a big copy machine right behind them. I take the papers & leave. Their greed cost them a $50.00 sale & earned them a bad YELP review. I came here because I needed to travel cross-country with my 18 pound dog who is just too big to fly in a carrier under an airplane seat. She is super sweet and chill so I thought she would be the perfect candidate to become an ESA. I was able to get an ESA letter and airline forms filled out for American Airlines and Delta at New Leaf Wellness Center with no issues! Had absolutely no problems flying with this documentation with AA (havent tried Delta yet) The letter/forms are good for a year and I will definitely come back to renew! I came here 06/08/2020 looking for an emotional support letter for my chihuahua I've had for 7 years; unfortunately where I moved to now does not accept pets. After finding this place on yelp I decided to go and it was definitely not a disappointment. When I went in the lobby's as very peaceful and quiet with 2 receptionist there to assist me.
