If you choose to go to New Leaf Wellness, be sure to consult with your regular doctor. I found out after 2 treatments of hormones that getting testosterone treatments can also cause anemia. My wife started having hair loss after her treatments and they gave her some pills that turned out to have hormone blockers that block the hormones she was getting. They are advertising a seminar to be put on by Dr. Robert Siemen in 2023. This is interesting because he died in 2022. read more

They had my medication list but stared a new med that caused a serve reaction that put me in the hospital /it was awful no stars at all!

Caution! So, unprofessional and under educated staff. First, I reviewed their reviews before going. Yes, I went anyway. Numerous negative reviews. All negative reviews have been removed - September 1st. Today I wanted to write my own review -their Website is under maintenance. My first visit to this location I was handed a tablet for the check in process. I ask "what are these name". Reponse " Oh, you are not supposed to see that - those are our patients for the day". I know this is a HIPPA violation. I had two phone conferences with Megan regarding Semaglutide. I ask twice about limitations regarding BMI. I qualified. I had two face to face meetings and ask AGAIN about BMI. I told her that her competitor said I didn't qualify because my BMI was still slightly in the "normal" range. Still no objection. They did a blood draw - $175. August 30th I had an appointment with Ashley the Nurse Practitioner to review my labs and start the program. I was informed " I'm so sorry to tell you but you don't qualify for this program .. your BMI is barely in the normal range". I expressed my great degree of concern about what I had been told. I told her about the HIPPA violation. I immediately ask for my $175 to refunded. I felt she was sincere and told me she would share everything with the Office Manager. When, I did not receive my $175 I called Petra the Office Manager and told her I would pick up a check that day ( Sept 1st) . She said NOTHING about my experience. After discussion with her I ask if Ashley had shared my experience? Her reply " Well, I know you didn't qualify". According to Petra that is all she knew. I could share more concerns but this is long. I beg of anyone who is interested in this organization to practice a HIGH degree of Caution. Please, do your homework. This organization is taking your money, cross selling you , prescribing medication, performing injections. What type of organization would remove their negative reviews? I tried the hormone replacement for 6 months and was not happy with their services. As someone spending $250 per month you would think they would have taken a little more time talking to me and fixing things but instead I went hear from them. They would send me in for labs every 10 weeks and tell me someone would call me with results but I would never hear from anyone. I had the testoterone pellets and progesterone pills and it kicked me into menopause. I'm only 45 and had my monthly periods consistently until I cam to new leaf. when I got my second injection of the pellets I asked the nurse why this was happening and she told me she was new and wasn't sure. Really? What a waste of money and now I'm worried I messed something up with my health. I called to cancel today and was hung up on and than they told me I would have to sign some paperwork to cancel. read more

Although it sounds like quick relief, no one should play with addition of hormones. I had stage 1 breast cancer this year after using hormones in past. Please please get oncologist opinions of hormone replacement! I will always live in fear that my breast cancer will return. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PLACE! Signed up at $9/unit. Nurse said, uou're going to need multiple appts. But at next appt was told that the $9/unit rate was no longer available. Ahh yes, the old 'bait and switch' routine. To make it all the more worse, the nurse doing the injections was unkind, even rude! Her was short and condescending, displaying a 'take it or leave it' attitude. Oh and you cant request another nurse. She's the only one. Well, I'll leave it. I am shocked at my experience today. I left the place in tears and sat in my car and cried . I have received botox several times over the last few years ( same nurse) and was pleased with her demeanor. She encouraged me to attend the grand opening to get my discount on botox. I gently nudged my husband to go with me. We both went and put the 50.00 down and SECURED appointments to hold our spots for the 8.50 a unit special. Offered only by attending the grand opening. Today, at my appointment I was told that that price expired yesterday. I have no idea why I was not informed of the expiration day when I booked my appointment. You would think that would be a notable mention and someones job when booking this special. Today, I was told that they would not honor that price. To make matters worse the botox nurse was horrible. Her comments were " you get botox all over your face at other places." First of all, as a consumer allowed to shop around? side note: I get botox in my crows feet and sometimes forehead once or twice a year. That statement was insulting and rude to say the least. Furthermore, when my husband had his botox. I was talking to her about how we wanted it and she responded with " I know what I am doing." Maybe, this nurse is overbooked or has suddenly got a big head but she needs to go. I spend lots of money on facial memberships, botox, most things you offer. I checked into the Des Moines office yesterday. For the money they charge, I believe they could do much better with customer service. I drove a hundred miles for them to tell me I would have to come back in two weeks to start the program. Seriously? Could they not tell me this over the phone when I told them I would like to begin their HCG program? They drew my blood, charged me $250 and made an appointment for me to return in two weeks. It's a very apprehensive experience anyway, but not one person made any conversation with me let alone a welcoming smile. I'm $250 into the process so it's kind of hard to back out now. I can only hope it gets better and that my journey is successful to make it all worthwhile. Had I have known this experience would be what it was, I would have driven a hundred miles the other direction to (Jeffery) Passer Weight Loss Center in Omaha, NE. Passer Weight Loss is friendly, informative, empathetic, helpful and very transparent with an excellent staff! I was unemployed for awhile and wanted to get a Myer's Cocktail and glutathione push to counter some stress damage. I went in on a Thursday for the $50 pre-treatment blood draw/analysis. They told me it would be a couple of days to get the results back. The middle of the following week I got and accepted a job offer, and the whole thing kind of fell off my radar. A day after I started my new job they called to schedule the IVs. Their hours are standard business, no Saturdays, and the two treatments would take 2 1/2 hours. Yeah, not happening the first week of a new job. Not even the first MONTH of a new job - at which point the $50 blood analysis would be obsolete. I guess when your primary clientele is stay-at-home trophy/soccer moms who shop and pamper themselves to fill their time you can get away with standard business hours. I didn't even get an apology or refund offer for the wasted blood analysis. Absolutely abysmal business, of no use whatsoever to working people. read more

i had a intake with new leaf last week and this is what i basically found out. the weight loss program cost $875.00 the first month and $200.00 per week thereafter. you are on a low calorie daily diet from 500 to 1500 total calories per day. plus, you give yourself a daily injection of something called hcg hormone. they claim you can lose up to one pound per day but, the average is one to three pounds per week. most diet medical practitioners recommend weight loss of no more than one to two pounds per week. so, if my goal was 2lbs. per week and, i need to lose 70lbs. to get to a healthy weight (if i've done the math correctly) i would pay $875 plus, $6200.00 [ total of 35 weeks ( 2lbs. per week to get to 70 lb. loss) minus the four weeks i initially paid $875.00 for plus $200.00 per week for the remaining 31 weeks = $6200.00] for a grand total of $7075.00. wow! i think the co-pay for bariatric surgery (if you wanted to go that route would be less). nutri-system; medi-fast; jenny craig all charge about $300.00 per month for their pre-packaged meals. they all claim a 1 to 2 lb. per weight loss per week. so, if i round up the 35 weeks to 36 which is 9 months i'd pay the pre-packaged food companies $2700.00. quite a savings over new leaf. plus, i'm not "to keen" on giving myself a daily hormone shot. i googled the hcg hormone and, i believe i read in one of the major medical journal websites the hcg has not been approved by the fda for weight loss. read more
