For example, their response to my complaint about no shampoo being available is that there is a removable handle in the shower. That has nothing to do with no shampoo being available. They made no attempt to address the fact that my treatment wasn't complete (I did not receive a foot massage) or the rough handling during the scalp massage. Update: In addition to this review I've sent two emails and still haven't gotten a response from anyone at Coachlight. Really disappointing customer service. There are some areas where I was disappointed with my visit that I feel can be improved upon. Because I am a new client it would have been nice to receive a welcome email or phone call with instructions for my visit. I didn't receive anything instructing me on what time to arrive or what to expect. Because of that I arrived at 8am for a 9am appointment due to the site saying you have an hour beforehand to use the facilities and I thought I would need to be changed and ready at 9am. At 8:30 I tried the doors again because I saw a receptionist inside. The doors were still locked. She looked annoyed but unlocked the door and said I could come in. I explained I had a 9am appointment and probably needed to change which is why I was early. The facilities are impeccably clean and quiet, so that was a positive. It was a relaxing calm environment, which is what I was looking for. It would have been nice if someone showed me around and explained how to use the saunas and rain shower though since it was my first time. For the treatment itself, the woman was cordial but was very rushed. It felt like she was trying to get through the treatment as fast as possible. She was rough instead of being slow and ensuring the experience was relaxing. I was most looking forward to the scalp massage but she was so rough it was painful and felt like my hair was being ripped out at times because she was going too fast. My hairdresser gives a scalp massage so I know what a proper one feels like. The description of the treatment also said I would receive a mint foot rub, which I did not. After the treatment I was told to shower. There was no soap or shampoo available and my hair was full of oil. When she came back I noted this and she said there was shampoo in the locker room. Showering again after the treatment would defeat the purpose of the lotion being applied at the end of the treatment. So my choice was leave with oily hair or shower again and rinse off all the lotion. After the treatment I was taken back to the main area and still hadn't been given instructions on how to use the facilities. At checkout I was asked how much I wanted to include for a tip. I really dislike when I'm asked this in a busy area with other clients present behind me as it's uncomfortable to bring up issues then and I feel pressure to tip even if the service had issues. I would prefer being able to write it down on a receipt. I emailed the spa about these concerns and asked them to reach out to make it right and I have not heard from anyone. For the price the service is subpar.

That was a waste over 12k, and now I'm horrified by the way my ears look. I would also note Dr. Carlisle did an upper bleph on me before he joined Koch & Carlisle, and it left horrible scarring. I was allergic to the sutures they used, I had even complained to his nurse at the time who told me just to stop using some ointment I had been prescribed. I did, but turns out it was from the sutures. Dr. Carlisle had gone on vacation after this was done, so hence the lack of after care. Anyway. Two bad experiences from two different providers. I would not recommend.

I also had a consult with Dr. Koch and unfortunately it was not a good time for me to have surgery. They were super accommodating in refunding my money and I really appreciate it that since I unfortunately had a transition that wasn't making it possible for me to feel comfortable having the surgery. I removed my brand new coat and blood was dripping from my arm and the sleeve of my coat was soaked. So I went right back and they apologized and promised a free IV in the future. Today I called for an appointment and got a confirmation message to my phone while on the way there. Then I received a call from some guy who I had never talked to saying that they would not honor the promised IV because I had been "upset and used some colorful language the last time I was there". I explained that they had ruined a brand new coat and yes, I was not happy. They scheduled the free IV, (not the very expensive one I had paid for but said the free one was just saline with nothing else) I was all the way across town when he called but they lied and wasted even more of my time. I would never go there again. I have had dozens of IV's and never had any issues anywhere else. These people are not trustworthy. UPDATE; Since posting this review I got a call from Iowa IV telling me I should be an "adult" and asking me what they can do to get me to remove the review. Telling me I am not being an adult because I speak the truth is not the answer. Being rude and condescending is not the answer. I am not the one who did a bad job. I am not the person who lied about making up for it once already. You treated me like I was trying to pull something over on you for a few dollars. Even though the girl who did it saw the blood soaked coat and arm less than an hour later. Ladies I wear jeans and t shirts but I have many millions in liquid assets. This is about principles not a few dollars. Beware of this place.
