I have now been going to New Life Chiropractic, and seeing Dr. Tim Smith, for about a month. My two daughters (11 and 15) and my 4 year old son are also getting care. Dr. Tim is the 5th chiropractor that I have seen in the last 9 years and I am very impressed. What sets his office apart? 1) Office staff that is wonderful. Tonie answers the phone with a smile and always greets you warmly. Scheduling appointments is a breeze. 2) Customized care. Each of us is getting adjustments that are unique to our needs and they change EVERY TIME depending on how our body is responding. I have never been to a chiropractor where every adjustment is slightly different. 3) Promotes self-care. Home care exercise is a big part of the New Life care regimen. I like that Dr. Tim truly wants to speed up your healing and get you on a regular maintenance plan. 4) Truly integrated approach to medicine. Dr. Tim is obviously a big believer in chiropractic, but he also teaches about the importance of your mind, nutrition, exercise and detoxification. 5) New Life Chiropractic hosts multiple community outreach educational events every month. Community dinners, recipe nights, and special events like 'Cancer Killers' give people that aren't even patients the opportunity to utilize Dr. Tim's knowledge and apply it to their lives to become healthier. I now wake up every morning now without the low back pain that was plaguing me! I've since referred my parents and they are both getting life changing results. My Dad had rotator cuff surgery this summer and his physical therapist told him he only expected him to gave a 65% recovery in mobility of his arm. After just 5 visits to Dr. Tim, he revisited his physical therapist and his mobility had surpassed 75% and they told him he has exceeded their expectations and there was no reason for him to return! This review is way over due. I don't write a review when I try something right away. Because usually when I try something, the first time is good. But then you go back again and its not so good. This is definitely not the case with New Life Chiropractor. My experience here has been superb every single time! The first time I went to see them, I was in a lot of pain. I had hurt my lower back working out. Prior to this incident I had a lot of old injuries from my time in the military. I was even diagnosed with sciatica. I was told to do physical therapy by the VA and was given pain medication. But that didn't really help in the long run. No one ever did any X-ray to see what was going on with my body. The very first thing Dr. Tim did, was an Xray. My back was a mess! He sat down with me and made a plan. It has been the best thing I could have done for my health. I feel much much healthier and its only getting better. I have not had a sciatica pain since I have been seeing Dr. Tim. Dr. Tim and Dr. Cathrine in my opinion are the best doctors and they are so passionate about their patients health. They are the nicest doctors I have very met. Their entire staff is amazing! Smartest guy around! He has a memory like a sponge and is ready to wring out anything he has absorbed...any time. He can answer any question you may have-literally. So thankful to have found him for my entire family.
