I just have to write this review, even though I never had an appointment with them. I was looking for someone who took my insurance. Donna answered the phone and she was so kind and helpful! She said she didn't think they were accepting any more Medicare patients, but she looked up my insurance information anyway. She was able to confirm that they weren't accepting any more Medicare patients, and then she recommended another office to me, that did take my insurance. At no time did I feel like she was rushing me to get off the phone. She was so patient and made sure I had all the information I needed. Wow, today I saw Dr Gary Kelly for this first time. When I got there, Donna at the front desk was very sympathetic, welcoming, and got me settled into room. The room had a neck pillow roll on table with heating pad. Then Dr. Kelly came in and asked me questions to pinpoint pain and cause. He started with a neck message that was the best I have ever had, then he did several manual adjustments on my neck and back. As he went, he asked more questions to try to pinpoint possible issues . Then after that he used a heated ultrasound massager on my neck. Then the finale was I laid back down with electronic pulsating machine that he adjusted to my comfort level. All in all a great experience. So a few hours after, I can turn my head. While it still hurts, it has gone from a pain scale of 9 to 5. And the rest of my body feels great/refreshed! I am going back tomorrow since I was so messed up, then he said because I am in good health eventually I could get to going every month or two - prior chiro's used to make me come much more (and coincendentally one was closed down for insurance fraud). Plus the past two just weren't right for me - one spent 5 minutes popping my neck and other one put me on this standing table thing (which didn't do much for me). So happy I finally found a practice with good hours that work around my job, nice people, and it is relaxing. read more

I love this place! I've been in Sac area about 2 1/2 years and very picky about chiropractors and hadn't seen one since I moved. Had the same chiropractor for 15 years. I looked at a lot of reviews after I found who was covered by my insurance. My gut said "this is the place." I felt like I came home when I walked in. Friendly staff and Dr. Shannon was the best! I've had neck surgery, motorcycle accidents, you name it. I tweaked a couple of areas working out and after one session I felt incredibly better. I could literally fall asleep in the room. I started out as a patient of Dr. Kelley's a couple years ago and now I am working here at the office! I absolutely love this place. I've been getting adjusted here for years! Gary is my goto and will adjust you better than anyone I've found. He is not too hard not too soft, not too quick, and strong. Dr. McIlnay has been wonderful through pregnancy and postpartum. I was experiencing a lot of pain during pregnancy, which she targeted and alleviated. She was also able to help with the aches and pains caused by breastfeeding. She was so accommodating to allow my daughter to come to every appointment. I don't know that I could have scheduled all of the necessary appointments if I had needed to find a sitter. She even set up the muscle treatment while I nursed my daughter. I am so happy that I found her. The front office has been SO helpful scheduling appointments. She is usually booked pretty far in advance, but they take down my availability and call back offering any appointments that become available. I usually get a call about an opening available at least two weeks prior to the appointment I booked the first time. AMAZING! Dr. Chris treated me today for what I thought was sciatica and I have been in pain for a few days. I've never been to a chiropractor and was skeptical and nervous but Kelley Chiropractic was recommended by my very own family members and I would do anything to get rid of the pain. So there I was, nervous laying on the table thinking he's going to snap crackle and pop my back and it was not going to be fun. Boy was I wrong! He walked me through and said there would be no more pain than what I was already suffering from and worked his magic. Come to find out my pelvis was the problem and he fixed me right up. I never knew that my back and neck could make my life so miserable. I let it go so long that even the muscle had gone into injury mode. When I finally broke down and went to see Dr Chris I was having trouble breathing which was a rib out and felt like I was going to pass out all the time as my body was having a hard time dealing with the mess I was in and my blood pressure was through the roof. Dr Chris has been working on repairing me since August and it has been a long road for me as I have no down time being self employed. Thank you Dr Chris for all you do I am finally starting to feel like my old self again. I still have a ways to go I know with Dr Chris I will make a full recovery.
