Dr. Wong has been nothing short of phenomenal. I have seen many chiropractors over the years, and have never felt like I benefitted from them. I have been dealing with an issue for 5+ years and have seen 26 doctors for this issue without getting really any solid answers from any of the doctors. Dr. Wong shared a similar experience that he had, and quickly pinpointed where my pain was. His adjustments have helped me manage my pain, and while surgery may be the end result, he has helped figure out what has been causing me this nagging pain for so many years. Whether surgery is in the cards or not, I am at least feeling more optimistic than I have in a long time. Their masseuse Tracy is also absolutely wonderful! Not just chiropractic adjustments but also self care advice. - Dr. Wong has worked out a frozen shoulder with Tough-Love: DEEP tissue work, difficult/painful- yet needed- stretches and regular homework exercises - They have relived issues with my ankle, where when weight bearing, I would loose all strength and fall down. Treatment included MRIs, ankle adjustments and focused strength building exercises - They helped guide me through plantar fasciitis relief with targeted stretches and recommendations on shoe inserts for proper support - They have assisted with severe low/mid back pain and breathtaking core muscle cramping with adjustments, guidance for recovery - including focused stretching, pain relief advice and really helping me understand the balance needed between strength building and rest during that time. I first saw Dr. Wong when I got hurt at work and had bulging dics, my then got into a car accident months later, I was in so much pain, it was My first time seeing a chiropractor. His office treated me with respect and answered all my questions. I was on Percocets and other pain relief medications. After continued chiropractic work by Dr.Wong and trigger point therapy, I eventually started doing P 90 X modified. At the end of my treatment the ONLY thing I was taking was ibuprofen!! I went in to get a hip aligned. It was a fairly easy fix, and I was grateful for the help. The chiropractor, not Wong -the other one- suggested that I have scoliosis- he determined this by taking two fingers and running them down the sides of spine. He asked me to pull up the back of my shirt in order to do this. He also ran his two fingers across the base of spine and made a conclusion that those bones were somehow misaligned too. He then told me that I needed an x-ray. But once I told him that I did not have a primary care physician he did not give me the referral. I have an insurance that allows me to go to a specialist without a referral. I told him this and he mumbled something about it costing too much. Since I didn't think I needed an X-ray, I let it go. Later that week, I called to reschedule my follow up appointment. The receptionist scheduled me for a Thursday. I called to check in before leaving. No one answered because they were closed. Apparently, they are always closed on Thursday's. This was not a mistake. I repeated to the receptionist the date and time of the reschedule and she purposefully booked me on their closed day. I've since found a chiropractor who doesn't run his fingers down or across your flesh, doesn't ask you to come back week after week and instead fixes your issue and explains how to prevent it from happening again. My best friend referred me to Dr. Wong since he's helped her with knee injuries, and when her back was out. I was in a car accident recently and was rear ended. My neck, back and hip were a painful mess!
