They tried to leave several cubic yards at the top of my driveway (after the delivery was 3 hours late, I had laborers waiting, and never got a delivery update). The delivery driver was a complete ass. I could not have my delivery blocking my cars in. I mean, WTF??? He even laughed in my face, which was so contemptuous and caused and argument and then left without doing the delivery. The previous delivery was on the side, no problem. Apparently only THEIR time matters. Customers are disposable. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! I try to support local businesses, but the sloppy, snotty whatever their bad attitude of the day is... well, just plain WOW! I've only ever been treated with respect and professionalism at Rare Earth. Go there instead. Don't say you weren't warned.

Under the previous ownership, there wasn't really an assigned manager role and employees were told how to handle customers asking for one. Apparently those expectations changed without being clearly communicated. This all came after a customer complained during a day when their phones literally weren't working properly. I've also been told another employee, who is autistic, was abruptly fired and wasn't even able to clearly explain why. For a nursery that's been around for over 50 years, it's sad seeing it go in this direction. I won't be supporting this place anymore and would recommend going elsewhere.
