We consulted multiple companies to bring ideas, design recommendations, and experience to help us make an informed decision. Master's Kitchen and Bath were the last company we spoke with, and I am glad we did. Having an older home leads to a lot of questions and uncertainty. All of the concerns and what if's (which lead to a lot of added unforeseen expenses) were addressed with clarity, confidence, and the reassurance we were looking for. From the first consultation, design process, and throughout the remodel, we felt we made the right decision to hire Master's. Working with everyone at Master's Kitchen and Bath was a great experience. The project manager listened to our vision, and he was able to come up with a clear plan on how to make it happen. The designer was very in tune with our style preferences and provided us with a lot of great options, a lot of which we had never considered. The entire crew that do everything from demo, electrical, plumbing, and installation were absolutely amazing. True craftsman who take pride in every detail. We are extremely happy with how our home turned out, and would 100% hire Master's to work in our home again.

I like that they have a showroom, which makes it easy to check out cabinets, materials, fixtures, etc. Once they started, the work took 3-4 weeks. Igor did most of the work and is very neat and thorough and easy to get along with. Everything came out pretty great. Plus they cover the wood floors with paper and cover any carpet with blankets and keep everything as clean as possible. Overall I feel great about choosing them and will probably go with them again for my bathroom in a few years.

We were happy with the designs, satisfied that the price was fair and appreciated the first class installation on all the projects. After we moved to a condominium recently, Kitchen and Bath Mart was thus our only call for the work we needed done in our new home. They performed a complete remodel of our master bathroom and, most recently, an upgrade of our kitchen. On these two projects Krysti was the main design coordinator. She worked creatively with us to arrive at designs which met our requirements .The installer, Ilie, who had carried out projects in our previous home again did a first class job on both these projects. All the Kitchen and Bath Mart people were a pleasure to work with. We are very satisfied with the improved appearance and functionality achieved with these projects. We strongly recommend Kitchen and Bath Mart to anyone who is considering a kitchen or bathroom project.

We were a bit skittish about redoing the rest of the bathrooms, but after meeting George at Kitchen & Bath Mart, we immediately trusted him. George did not disappoint. He (and Joe) thoughtfully designed two beautiful bathrooms, which perfectly matched two showers that they didn't even put in. George was unfailingly prompt, reliable, thorough and professional, every step of the way. George, Joe and Dennis kept us updated, started our project exactly when they said they would, and helped to create two bathrooms that felt like luxury at a very reasonable cost. The construction team, headed by Shaun, was as professional, prompt, courteous, and detail-oriented as George and his team. Shaun and his team were even able to help us with much-needed drywall and paint repairs in our home, which were not part of our original project. We are forever grateful to Kitchen & Bath Mart! We will definitely go back when and if we ever need to redo our kitchen. Highly, highly recommend. Kitchen & Bath Mart is one in a million.

We were warned repeatedly: "A kitchen remodel will be a nightmare--don't live there while it's…read morehappening!" That, along with a few other cautions, set our expectations before starting our project with Kitchen & Baths Unlimited. For my wife and me, however, the experience turned out very differently. We cannot say enough great things about Nancy (design), Owen (project management) and the entire team that meticulously executed the remodel. While I work from home and my wife commutes downtown, we decided to move forward with gutting and remodeling the vintage kitchen in our 100-year-old farmhouse in Evanston--and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Yes, the demolition phase was a bit loud, as expected. But after that, the usual construction noise--hammering and drilling--was manageable. The team did an excellent job minimizing disruption: adjacent rooms were carefully sealed to contain dust, wood floors were protected with panels, and window treatments were wrapped in plastic. Design selections were also made easy thanks to Nancy, who guided us through choosing colors, cabinets, and countertops that matched our vision. The result is a beautiful transformation from a neglected, dingy farmhouse kitchen into a bright, modern farmhouse space. The Italian tile backsplash complements the quartz countertops with subtle veining. The lower cabinets are a soft gray, while the upper cabinets are white, creating a clean and balanced look. We also upgraded our appliances and fixtures, including LED ceiling lights, a Bosch microwave drawer, a professional KitchenAid range with a matching hood featuring an infrared sensor, and a modern stainless-steel farmhouse sink with a gentle bow. Despite an initial delay with the permit office due to a previously applied for permit that KBU helped us manage, the project stayed on schedule. We made a few minor upgrades along the way, but thanks to Owen and Nancy's guidance, we remained on time and within our overall budget. The KBU crew was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. Communication was seamless--especially since I was working from home--which helped address questions quickly and keep the project moving efficiently. In the end, we passed all inspections and received written approval from the village within a day. For us, this remodel was a great success. Thank you to Nancy, Owen, Patricia, Rade, and the entire team! You are the BEST!

I worked with Julie (designer), her team led by Jesus, and of course, owner Owen. Jesus and his team were super hard workers, pleasant to deal with, trustworthy, and highly efficient and knowledgeable. Everything was overseen frequently by Owen. I was blown away with the gorgeous result and the seemlessness with which this project was completed! I highly recommend KBU to everyone!

After reviewing the scope of the project, it was estimated that it would take a week and a half to complete. Not only did it take over a month to eventually complete, the days that the team would work were unpredictable. On several occasions, as the team would leave for the day, they would tell us they will be back tomorrow, and then not show up. Or, they wouldn't be able to tell us when they would come next, and would surprise us a few days later. They ended up needing to complete this project after I had delivered my baby (original timeline would've been completed weeks prior to my due date). Additionally, we noticed there were a few design decisions that were made without consulting us, like the drywall of the shower/re-installation of the water gauge (it's now not flush with the wall and very loose) and the selection of tile at the base of the shower that doesn't match the floor. He had offered to come fix the water gauge, but after coming to look at the issue, he has not gotten back to us in 5 weeks. I had high hopes for this project, and while it still looks nice, the lack of communication made it really difficult to want to recommend Peter or use his team again for future projects.

Bottom line, she told me that I needed to drop off a drawer face for color matching and the handle so that they could match that. I did. She assured me that their storage would be safe in a file that she had started for us. After 3 hrs of driving to get her the drawer face and handle, she tells me that I have to have a contractor give her the measurements and install because they don't service that far away. I searched for almost 8 months. No contractor would install their cabinet doors... By the time I contacted her again, she had successfully lost the handle and requested a $25 charge to return my drawer face. She was less than helpful. It has taken her more than 3 months from the time I requested my drawer face to tell me of the charge and why they've not given it back. She can't remember anything that wasn't in email even though she took notes and put them in the file with the drawer face and handle. She also never took notes on our phone conversations. It's no wonder she can't keep her promises. She can't remember what she said. This company seems inept but maybe it's just "Diane." After this experience, I wouldn't do business with them if my life depended on it.

Bad - My custom vanity came without the chosen legs. Called about that, and was told there was no ETA on a remedy. These are simple wooden legs painted white. Likely sitting in a warehouse and someone unwilling to do the 5 minutes of work to correct a mistake that wasn't mine and stuck it at the end of the queue. Had to bug Studio 41 about 5-6 times for updates, and finally received after 16 days. Then no hardware at all to attach or even instructions on how to do it. Delayed my project 2 weeks (living in a condo with no working sink in the only bathroom sucks) and cost me extra work for the contractor to do another hour of work to find a solution and install the legs. In the end I paid double for something custom and it was the only part of my renovation that did not go well. Unsure why the cabinet maker who work with Studio 41 doesn't really care about a screw up, nor did any manager call me or anything to apologize or suggest any solution. Honestly, I just should have bought some simple white furniture legs from Amazon on day one and it would have saved me 2 weeks of complaining into the wind and another $200 of labor. Would definitely never use Studio 41 for anything custom again.
