    20oz Hot Cafe Au Lait

Went to the one on 57th St. I was excited to try something local but it was a complete disappointment. The Cafe au lait is tasteless. The cashier seemed in a bad mood.

First off, we did come 15 minutes before close so I will recognize that but the staff was very brusque especially the girl who helped us and wasn't helpful when we asked for flavor recommendations and the sign was black with very small print that was difficult to read. We ordered a regular hot matcha that was very watery and definitely light on the matcha powder, and a latte half sweet but they made it full sweet instead. Very small cups for a regular and on the pricy side. Unfortunately very unsatisfactory service and could have done better

Great place to stop by for coffee and, specifically, for a chance to try NM based coffee shops. Pinon Coffee House isn't quite a standalone shop and has quite a few branches...but it's still worth checking out anyways. My friend from out of town who enjoys coffee wanted to check out local coffee shops while in NM, so we made it a point to check out Pinon Coffee House. I had the Honey Lavender Latte and thought it was ok. Perhaps a little sweeter/has sweeter aromatic smell than I would have liked. For my friend, he had basic straight drip/Americano style coffee...and was ok with it. Nothing bad..but it wasn't his top top choice. We also got Biscochito to try..and perhaps Biscochito really just wasn't out thing...we thought it was too much spice/smell infused in the bakery. Well, opinions vary for sure where Pinon Coffee House stood, because when we stopped by..I swore, half of the people in the coffee shops were tourists/people from out of town who stopped by a shop just like we did! Overall, ok to check coffee out. For me, it was my first time trying Pinon Coffee house and it was decent. However, as a non frequent coffee drinker and someone who tried their coffee and thought it was so so, I probably wouldn't go out of my own way there unless someone (likely from out of town) wants to try it.

Cute little coffee shop. The decore inside for the holidays was cheerful and welcoming. I got the honey lavender iced latte. My 1st time tasting, it was delish. I forgot to ask for alternative milk, so didn't get to enjoy the whole drink. Several tables inside to complete work or sit and lounge while enjoying your cup of coffee.

Very popular while I was there. The walk-ins steady and the drive-thru busy with over five cars the entire time. Indoor seating is more than it looks like it would be from the outside. Comfortable and inviting. The pasty options are decent. HAD to try the Brown Sugar Scone which was a nice size and tasty. The Blueberry Lemongrass iced tea was okay, but not my main taste...that's on me. I like that they let customers grind coffee the way they like it for the bags they buy. Not a coffee person myself, but it looks like everyone else enjoys that option. And hard not to with the Goggly eyes on the grinder. Haha. The difficult part is getting into the small parking lot. But once situated, the visit is worth it.

Pistachio latte - excellent taste & beautiful!

Piñon Coffee House has a cute indoor seating area with art of Albuquerque. It is a good spot to sit and chat with friends and family. We tried the pistachio latte, lavender latte, and biscochito latte! All were excellent, and you could very much taste the distinct flavors. Also, if you get them cold, they come with fun colorful whipped cream on top. The barista who helped us was very friendly, answered my mom's many questions, and gave us samples. Overall a great stop and would definitely recommend if you're in town!

Delicious iced coffees. Great service. Will return again whenever I'm in town. Everyone was happy with their purchase.

The iced Bizcochito latte with oat milk is really good! The maple walnut latte gets a thumbs up as well. Clean place, nice staff.

Stopped by during a visit. A local told me they use coffee ice cubes, genius! Wish I had more time to try all their specialty drinks!

My favorite drink is the mi amor drink. It's sweet and creamy and not too strong. The pastries are also good and different.

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

Very mild chocolate, I believe it is Dutch chocolate if my memory services me not to sweet which I appreciate. It was delightfully well balanced. The coffee itself is very smooth and not bitter, excellent taste! I will be back for sure to try other options there are lots of choices. I should have taken a picture of the menu. There is ample seating both inside and outside, had I not had my toddler with me I would have loved to sit out front but it is right by the road so a no go with a rambunctious little boy... There is additional outside seating to the side and farther from the road too. I look forward to my next trip.
