    Birthday Cake

I ordered a surprise birthday cake from California for my son, who is a student in Albuquerque, and spoke with Amanda at the shop over the phone. She was incredibly helpful and able to accommodate us on short notice. The cake itself was delicious, and they put so much effort into such a beautiful design!

Perfect little spot for some truly great baked good, a warm cup of coffee, and some Live music! I'd come back anytime!! Staff were so kind. I felt peaceful there!

Wonderful bakery in a beautiful spot in Los Ranchos. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I got 5 different baked goods and they were all delicious. Definitely a good spot for a lovely date or quiet spot to study. Their drip coffee is a collaborative blend made for them by O'Beans Coffee roasters. It was very refreshing and balanced.

4.5 stars Came here yesterday morning and it wasn't too busy. Parking was easy and prices were reasonable. We even got a free sample of a vanilla cake (so good!). My friend got the iced chai with oat milk and a bacon breakfast sandwich. I got the iced chai with pumpkin and a pumpkin cookie. The cookie and the frosting were especially good, but the chai could've used an extra pump of pumpkin flavoring. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more of a variety of pumpkin treats, but I guess that'll come closer to October. 2024 #63

I have always had a thing for Los Ranchos Bakery and when I'm in the area, I have to stop by. They've got a great selection of baked goods and really yummy breakfast sandwiches. Plus the colorful signage makes for some great pics. Staff is friendly and it's very much a local bakery. Outside of baked goods, they have really amazing drinks. Specifically in love with their iced matcha which was one of the creamiest matchas I've had and so yummy. I will note I like my matcha sweet so I got it with vanilla syrup. Don't forget them around the holidays as their pies are stellar and a great addition if you don't want to do your own baking.

we were doing a run in the area. One of the run admins paid for everyone to get one bakery item. I got a Great brownie, friend next to me got a vegan brownie, others got a variety of items. Everyone in the group were very happy with their selection. The staff were excellent & able to handle our group very well. Nice seating area on the B side. Clean comfortable environment. I plan to take my family back soon. On the B side there were some cool jewelry, vintage clothing for sale, & table seating

    seating inside!

friendly baristas and good service! cute seating inside, homemade sourdough bread with green chile that my mom always gets whenever we stop by, and the gluten free blueberry pastry i had was life changing. so many other good looking pastries and good coffee too!! lots of flavor options :) small parking lot but would recommend!

There is some outdoor seating that is guarded from the morning sun.

My neighbors, love, Los Ranchos, Bakery for the sourdough bread! Me, it's usually a scone and vanilla latte. Yes, this is between my house and my office, on my regular route. The lunch menu has a variety of sandwiches to choose from. I've only tried one sandwich, the chicken salad. So far there's no reason to try any other sandwich. There's also plenty of indoor seating. This is definitely a diamond in the rough, and a place that has a feel, like home.

Cute sign, have some great day old bread prices. Sorry we ate all we got too fast!

4 years in ABQ and my first visit. As a native San Franciscan it definitely has a really cool vibe and super yummy treats. Will return.

Disappointed! Looking for a fresh from scratch bakery and Los Ranchos was recommended. My cupcake was old. It was so dry it was like eating a biscuit with no gravy and had no flavor. Not only was the frosting hard it wasn't very flavorful either. So disappointing!

I've always enjoyed coming here. The atmosphere is hospitable, the staff people are friendly, and the pastry and quiche is tasty.

While frequent hand washing is being practiced, the bakers dont wear gloves while pounding out the dough. I do so much in my own kitchen by feel that I can see the necessity of bare hands when folding and rolling pastry, but as there isn't a dedicated server/cashier, the lack of gloves made Raz a little nervous. On the other hand, the strudel is thoroughly worth nearly any risk, as I've never had one so good. I think the red berries were cherry, and I've no idea what went into the sweet cream, but I've been dreaming of it for a couple weeks. We tried to go back for more last Sunday, only to find that despite an internet posting of Sunday hours, Mas is closed on Sundays. I'm not thoroughly deterred, and I figure it's not too far out of the way of my daily commute that I might not be able to try for more strudel mid week...

They haven't changed a lot, the interior was still decorated, mostly the same, but they do seem to have removed their little vintage store and the books for sale. However, the most recent time I visited and did feel like maybe they were about to change something. Possibly in the middle of redecorating or something like that. They have really great offerings and the space is simple and cute. I got the French breakfast toast and a vanilla matcha. My only thing to say that wasn't ideal, it used to be the barista's and especially the owners were very friendly. On my most recent visit, though it wasn't the same energy. It was kind of funny because I was in the area to get a haircut and my hairdresser made a comment about the same change in service.

We came inside and had to wait quite some time to get menus to order at the counter, as that day they only seemed to have one. I got a lavender coffee, salmon toast, and we got the apple toast as well. We ordered five items total. After 25 minutes, one coffee was ready (just a simple espresso shot), then mine was ready. We then got the apple toast, about 5 minutes later, one salmon toast, and then finally, about 10 minutes later, another salmon toast. The disjointed way we got our items made it hard to eat together, enjoy our time together, and keep going back and forth. They only have a toaster to make food in, so there must be a better way. As a former barista, I know the coffee shouldn't have taken as long as it did. This place might be good for a weekday stop, but it's definitely less than ideal for a weekend stop when you need somewhere to be afterwards.

Another woman who was serving food that where the orders were took seem to know the score there in terms of the menu. But she wasn't family. She didn't ask if I needed anything else when she brought my food and never came back. I got a sandwich with yellow mustard on which I absolutely do not like ever, but ate it given the circumstances and wasn't feeling like I wanted to wait for them to redo it and the environment with the lack of service. I must say too like so many places you pay they turn around for you to sign and then it asked for a tip and I absolutely refuse to tip before I get service. Or if the service is just taking an order or buying something. It's crazy. Anyway, between the food and the service, I would definitely not come back to the café. If I live closer, I'd probably come check out the bakery. That was pretty busy while I was sitting there.
