They have an array of coffee and the service is absolutely phenomenal! Spoke with two baristas they were so informative and super welcoming! The coffee is really good as well. My husband got their regular drip coffee and he said it was very good, I got their iced brown sugar latte with 3 shots of espresso, so good and the right amount of caffeine. First review of the year- yay! My friend wanted to try this place out, so we came yesterday around noon. There's seating indoors and outdoors. There were ornaments and chocolate truffles for sale and a wide variety of pastries and sweets. I got the pumpkin bread ($4.25) and a medium biscochito latte. My friend got the white chocolate cherry scone and a latte. For both of us, it came out to $19. Baristas were friendly. Trifecta has excellent coffee and it has stayed consistent since they first opened 10 years ago. I've been here several times since their first days, and just spent some time here yesterday collaborating with two others on a project. Their baked goods are really good. They have a nice selection of both sweet and savory so you can actually have a meal while there. This seems rare for a coffeehouse since most either only offer sweet treats or sweet treats and maybe a breakfast burrito, which is usually sold out. Yesterday, I had their bacon and cheddar quiche and loved it. It was a decent enough size that I was able to take part of it home and had it for dinner. The service is decent. The space is odd. Its not warm and welcoming. The wooden tables are too narrow to work at with others comfortably. You'd probably be better off somewhere else, though the three of us made it work. It's fun to watch the roasting happen right there as you walk in but it's loud. I think the atmosphere is off because the owners put all of their efforts into making great coffee and offering good food to go with it. Chose this place to camp out and get some work done. I got a pour over with the El Salvador beans and a veggie quiche. The coffee was delicious, not at all acidic or bitter, just super smooth. The quiche had a thin and flaky crust, just the way I like it. They thankfully had a power strip, and it was pretty quiet aside from the ambient music. I'm a person who runs on coffee. I came here a few days before to get a pick-me-up because the hotel coffee was a definite miss in the caffeine department. I ordered a cold brew, and added vanilla and a splash of oat milk. It was perfect! Not too acidic. Very mellow but gave me the boost I needed to get through the work day. Today, I came back after work for an iced matcha latte and a verbena. Both were amazing, delicious, and refreshing. Met a friend here for a coffee. It was such a pleasure! During the week, about 2, there were only a few people there. The staff was great. And the cashier took time to answer all my questions! She said they've been a local coffee shop for about 10 years. With many coffee chains shops popping up, I think it's extremely important to support our local businesses! Starbucks was a fail, but they were open at 5:30 or I would have come here. I was parked out front and when the barista unlocked the door, I walked inside a couple of minutes later. This is probably one of the top coffee shops in Albuquerque that roast their own coffee beans, make their own pastries, and serve their own coffees, all under one roof. There's plenty of parking in the front and the back of the coffee shop. The barista's are all informative, well-versed in the coffee beans that they do sell, and are always so polite. Their pastries and foods are always changing with the seasons, allowing you to taste the New Mexico seasonal foods. The smell is amazing here, always smells like freshly roasted coffee beans. And lastly, it's actually very spacious inside, but there is limited sitting inside with more outside. Lucky for me, this coffee shop is located right next to the pet clinic. So whilst waiting, sometimes over an hour for my puppy to get her shots, I walked into this great coffee shop. They were super nice about bringing in my puppy, of course she's the cutest thing in the world, but I was grateful to come in an grab a coffee and muffin while waiting my turn. The baker Fabian was AMAZING!!! We had some of their holiday pies, a cherry and a blueberry. the design on the pies was well done incredibly cute; it definitely added a fun touch to the overall make of the pies and added to our little holiday cheer. Then the flavors were perfect highlighting good taste, good balance of crisp/crunch of the crust, while not taking away from the filling. The crust really hit well and had a wonderfully flaky texture as well. Overall, we highly recommend trifecta coffee, as well as their bakers, with a special shout out to Fabian! I stopped by yesterday for the first time and maybe my last? I ordered a cold brew with maple and a splash of cream, I could tell by the color that they had put more than a splash of cream and I couldn't taste the maple, which didn't bother me since I don't like coffee very sweet. My husband asked to use the bathroom and as he was heading there a women )which I assumed maybe the owner) pointed out that he had "a lot of tattoos " which I thought that was very unnecessary, not mad about it just surprised to say the least lol. My croissant was okay but warmed up would've been better. We're full-time RVers, so we experience a lot of little mom and pop shops in the small towns where we roam. We love supporting them. And we're honest about our experiences. The drinks are okay and food are pretty good but not amazing. The problem is the service, which really ruins the experience. We got a plain black coffee, a berry iced tea, and a decaf CB&H with a scone. The CB&H had a very light flavor and was a little chunky in texture but overall not bad. The tea was a basic tea but pretty good. As many other reviews have mentioned, the service is not good. When we asked a question about a drink, we were given short, rude responses and told to ignore the drinks we didn't understand on the menu. I was pretty disappointed with my experience here, to be honest. Upon entering, I quickly noticed that there was no where to sit inside. There were two tables that were already taken up. The service was not bad, but the prices were not worth the coffee received. The staff was rather pleasant and helpful. I ordered a white mocha and it was much too sweet for me to finish drinking. We found a spot to sit outside, but the patio is not really well organized and it isn't a good place to sit and talk with friends due to the busy traffic on Montaño road. read more

I've know about Trifecta for a while just had not made it in. One of my co-workers raved about it a while ago and then a new co-worker suggested we meet their for one of our check ins and I'm so glad they did. Service was kind and friendly. They explained the menu and what they had to offer! All their syrups are house made yum! They also offer a vitality of pasties and chocolate dessert items! Have not tired any yet. They also sell mugs and other brand merchandise stickers etc. along with local artists work pottery, art, and more. I got a small ice oat milk latte with lavender and it has been delicious each time!! The small comes with 2 shots of espresso which is awesome since at Starbucks a latte only comes with one shot and they charge you extra to add one. I'd say price is much better for what you get!! If you have been passing them by without a try and you love coffee stop in next time I don't think you will be disappointed, I know I was not. :) read more
