Your typical local Chinese take out place, but the food tastes much better than at many similar places.

We've lived near Warsaw for almost 4 years now and haven't visited Double Happiness yet. Yesterday,…read morewe decided to go around lunchtime, and we are so glad we did! The woman we interacted with was so nice and helpful! We ordered quite a bit because everything sounded so good. The food came out fast, was hot and flavorful! We started with the fried donuts (there were 10 in one order). These tasted almost like fried dough you'd get at the fair and were not overly greasy. The kids love them. We also got the BBQ boneless ribs, which were delicious. Finally, we ordered the crab Rangoon - they were huge and stuffed full of the yummy crab and cream cheese insides. We ordered our four-year old son the chicken nuggets (on the appetizer menu) - they were similar to banquet but deep fried and were gobbled right up. He gave it 2 thumbs up. Since it was lunchtime, we ordered off the lunch menu and got an order of General Tso, sesame chicken and chicken with garlic sauce. Each came with white or fried rice (we got fried rice- yum). We ordered egg rolls separately. Also very good. The General Tso and sesame chicken were as you'd expect (and it was crispy since we ate it there). The chicken with garlic sauce had a ton of vegetables too. All in all, we'd absolutely visit again. The restaurant was clean and decorated nice. We highly recommend and can't wait to go back to try some of the other menu items!

The food has real, traditional spices and bold flavor. Nothing tastes watered down, and everything is seasoned the way you hope it'll be when you order Chinese food. Last time I got chicken fried rice, orange chicken, pan-fried dumplings, and crab rangoon. The fried rice was solid and well-seasoned, the orange chicken was crispy with a good sauce, the dumplings were nicely pan-seared, and the crab rangoon was fresh, crunchy, and hit the comfort-food spot. I've only done takeout, so I can't say much about the ambience, but it's centrally located with decent parking. Inside is traditionally decorated, and there's a giant golden throne in the lobby that's great for a quick picture. Service has always been speedy and friendly, orders come out fast, everything's packed well, and the staff is consistently nice.

For the duration of our meal we were surrounded by dirty un-bussed tables. When our meals arrived,…read morethe server set the meals down on the dirty table before setting it on our table. The tofu was inedible; hollowed out husks with a spice level that was completely intolerable. The General Tso's chicken was pure mush. The crab dumplings had no crab. The egg rolls had no pork. The fried rice had no flavor. The rickety carts that the food is brought out on are filthy and clearly never been cleaned. I can't even imagine what the kitchen looks like. Can't believe we wasted our money. Just surrounded by clutter and mess and gross food. Be warned.
