I am extremely happy with my visit at New Optix located in San Marcos. I would give them 6 stars if I could. They were very welcoming and friendly. When I called to make an appointment the lady who answered the phone (I wish I remembered her name, I'm the worst at that) checked to make sure my insurance was accepted. Once confirmed I was able to get an appointment that day because someone else cancelled. The staff was very attentive and truly cared about my experience. Dr. Mini Ta, you are AMAZING! She was very personable and kind. She made it really easy for someone who hasn't had their eyes checked in 10 plus years. They are NOT pushy and they don't try to sell you products you don't need. Best optometrists I have ever been a patient of!!! This business is extremely patient oriented. They are friendly and make you feel very welcome. Their Doctors and staff are as good as it gets. My wife's glasses frame failed in the same way twice. Since the warranty only covered the first time, they went ahead and provided new glasses frame, (a more expensive frame), and new lenses for free. Also, they put her old lenses into another frame, (not the broken one), and loaned them to her while we waited for the new ones to arrive. Then they let us keep the loaned one as a spare, again at their expense!!! I highly recommend them. It just doesn't get any better then this business!!! read more

I had such a great experience here! Gabby at the front really makes sure you feel listened too and welcomes you warmly! I haven't had my eye exam and about 2 years...and finding out I need a higher prescription is never fun..... But they made sure I felt comfortable and really took the time to help me pick out new glasses that not only fit my face and made me feel confident but listened to my problems with my old pair and made sure we found new ones that fixed that!! They also take the time to explain what is going on with your eyes, so yoy feel In control and know what's going on. Highly recommend this place!! They are awesome! read more

I was truly disappointed because the office had such a welcoming atmosphere, which is exactly the environment I look for when choosing a doctor.
