Great place, decent price and assortment of oriental food. A little small place with a lot of choices.

Really fresh veggies and all the ingredients I need without having to travel to some big Asian market. Employees are always helpful!

I bought two dozen eggs on a 2 dozen for $15 deal. I also bought a huge gorgeous heirloom tomato, a purple radish which was art to witness once cut into, and a bunch of leeks. Everything was delicious, and the lady who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and friendly to speak to. We visited the animals outside behind the market afterwards. There were plenty of sheep, llamas and goats to see roaming around. They were friendly and grazing. I did feel bad for one of the goats who seemed to hurt his front leg though. I hope she feels better soon! Can't wait to come back when it gets warmer outside and spend more time with the animals!

I think it was close to $20 for a quart box. At the end of the day...they're berries. And overly ripe at that. The people who work inside the store look miserable and not even a hello or a thank you after you've shelled out a mortgage payment for salad veg. There are so many stands in the area to choose from, skip this one.

Even when the staff bags my groceries they are so nice. Yeah, maybe Market Basket has wider variety and cheaper items but if you don't want to be fighting a madhouse on a busy day, and appreciate a more small-town, personal touch , definitely I would recommend coming in here. The meat dept has set aside things for me if I call ahead for an urgent need, the seafood dept has pointed me to items in their frozen case if they think I could get a better economical deal. I recently used their catering over the holidays and they couldn't be nicer - got a personal call to go through the order instead of someone telling "just fill it out online" (Whole Foods). An earlier review asked why would people come here if it's usually more expensive, my answer is: if you have the ability to support businesses like this where there is heart in customer service - that adds to the sense of a small town community and makes you feel good about living nearby. Donelans also is a big supporter of school children including Girl Scouts - which is another great thing about them. It is usually not crazy busy and a more peaceful experience (not noisy like other stores). Parents with young children - they have the cool shopping carts attached to the toddler cars as well as mini shopping carts for little ones who want to "help". Love this store.

Comparing it to other local places, you can really get some good stuff at an affordable rate. Pizza starting at $10 for a cheese 18" pie cannot be beat anywhere. Originally it was Sal's but now it's just a spinoff. But quality is amazing. Third coffee counter is also something to check out. Smoothies, shakes, energy drinks, and of course coffee is a great value. Nice dining area also. The only downside is their restrooms are a total disaster. Nastiest place to go. I don't know why they don't teach people how to clean the restrooms. They have so much staff there it's insane. I've never seen any other chain grocery store with that many people on staff at one time. Train them to take a turn to get that restroom in shape. Management should be totally embarrassed.

He said nothing, stopped stocking, crossed his arms, and left his cart right where it was forcing me to reach over and in to get what I needed. If had rolled the cart about 6 inches or even offered to get what I needed, he would have done a great service. Unfortunately, he opted for acting all bothered and disgruntled. This is not the first time I've encountered extreme rudeness from employees while stocking shelves, and I'm sick of it. Market Basket, wake up and pay attention to your employees' attitudes. Do they not get paid enough to care?

I knew I missed pick your own by just a few minutes, but I planned to check out the store and hopefully grab some produce and maybe go get a bite to eat. The store left much to be desired. I've been to many farm stands and this was one of the worst I've ever seen. Normally you can buy a couple peaches and pay by the pound, but not here. The least amount of peaches I could get would've been $8.50. I only wanted to try a few. Overall produce selection was lacking. They didn't seem to have a great selection of fresh baked goods. I did pick up some local spreadable cheese that I like, but it was pricey compared to other places I've purchased in the past (Smith's country cheese is very good if you want to try it out). It looks like a few people were eating outside, but I didn't make my way over as I was disappointed in the store. I decided to leave. I won't be back
