If our lines came out of the water with bait that was even partially gone he would throw new bait on without us even having to ask. We were safe at all times in the boat and were never sprayed with water. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the waters and knew "special" spots on the water for specific fish. I fished with Capt'n Jason a couple weeks back. My buddy and I came in the night before from California when a cold front rolled through too. It was cold and windy like hell in the morning so we were having a tough go at it. We didn't get a redfish on the boat until late morning due to the terrible weather conditions and our inexperience. But as the weather got better, so did the fishing. When other charters got off the water, Capt'n Jason kept fishing us because the fishing was heating up. My dad and I came down in October for a few days with Capt. Jason and couldn't have asked for more. He knew that the conditions weren't going to be as prime as usual and made great accommodations for these conditions and got us on a TON of fish. We caught out limit on trout one day while we targeting them that day. The next day we went for reds and got our limit a little after noon just as the bad weather was coming in. Really enjoyed cutting up with Jason out on the water and admired his sense of professionalism with regards to his business. I would definitely recommend Capt. We were in New Orleans for a week long conference and had the opportunity to start the week with a morning fishing trip with Captain Jason before the work actually began. This was the absolute best way to start off the week; Jason is a top-notch guide and we couldn't have chosen a better charter. There were three of us on the excursion and Jason led us to some of the best fishing spots for redfish in the area. I have been fishing my entire life and had never been to New Orleans yet, until we flew in from on Business this past June in 2014 and had a limited Window to fish. Captain Jason was able to take us out and show us the ropes in the south! The fishing was Fantastic, to say at the least, Reds, Sea Trout, Sheep Head it was an awesome trip and we filled a cooler of great eating fish. I called the day before we wanted to fish to set up our trip. The owner was very responsive in both email as well as I the phone. When we got to the marina the next morning we were happy to see it was clean, well lit and had small store with restrooms just in case needed. The capt of the boat was curtious and quiet. Helped us with all our needs. The fishing trip went from 6am until approx12:30 (an afternoon storm rolled in so we had to cut the trip a little short). Overall great time! Some days you have perfect weather and no fish and we had lousy weather and lots of fish. Thanks for hanging in their and finding the fish. I brought three of my sons and we all caught fish and had a great time. When you are catching fish you do not notice the wind and rain.
