The layout is very simple so it is easy to find your way around. This was a major concern for me and my siblings as both of my parents are suffering from dementia and have some mobility issues. They seem to have lots of activities--BINGO is a favorite! The apartments have been updated with new cabinets, carpet and paint. The complex smells fresh and clean and the food isn't bad either. My parents seem to be happy here so far. The initial meeting we had with the nurse practitioner went really well and I think they really have my parents best interest at heart. The assisted living apartments are attached to a nursing home and memory care unit. There is a chapel in the apartment complex and you can walk inside through the nursing home to the attached Church (St Anthony Chapel). The apartments have a very small kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, sink and drawer microwave. Just what they need since lunch and dinner are provided.

Great and attentive staff, I don't have all the names down you but Veronica, Mary, Dee, Cha, Gigi Tyrone, Andrei, Pa, Ruth and many others all good competent and attentive people I just can't recall all their names. The food is good. Great location right next to a grocery store. Very kind and interesting neighbors. Good gym. A lot of activities. Doesn't take one long to figure out why they did that. Under staffed, they pay the staff care workers, known as residences assistants, so low there is a constant turn over, even with the nurses, upper management, care workers, cooks, and everyone even executive directors. They miss back round checks on their care workers , and keep the worst help they have, because they have no one else to work there at the time. Ratio to resident is too low. Lots of medical and medicine errors, sometimes deadly as on the states web site. Plan on being there 24/7 if you are going to leave anyone you care about or Love there. It's all smoke and mirrors. Looks great but nothing behind that to back it up. They talk a good Talk, but no follow through. They don't always call when bad incidents happen, they cover things up, and tell untruths. IT US SIMPLY ALL ABOUT THE $$$$$, AND DEFIANTLY NOT ABOUT THE RESIDENTS. STAFF VERY POORLY TRAINED BUT TGEY QUIT SO FAST THEY NEVER GET THE RIGHT TRAINING. Dig around, do your own homework and go to the state website, which most people don't even know about and you will be horrified. They sure won't tell you to look there as There ratings are not complimentary ar ALL!!!! That is probably why they changed their name as you start over with a clean skate with the State. WE need to educate ourselves on where we are putting and what we are doing to our seniors and loved ones!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! Place is dirty, I see the same cobwebs in the same corners year after year. The outside entrances…read morearen't any better, cigarette butts by the front doors mean they don't enforce the no smoking policy. Resident rooms are barely kept up, I feel the staff does just the bare minimum, and this was before Covid. Read the state inspection reports before considering. For special reasons this was the best choice at the time, but am very disappointed. There are some great volunteers but the day to day cares from aides is lacking something. Communication with family doesn't happen and messages left for staff don't get passed along or are not followed through.
