I delivered my baby here and they based my care off of anxiety and pain management. I walked into…read morethe surgery room for a c-section, hormones were all over the place just like anyone else would've gone through, lights blaring, 10 staff members standing in a circle, sterile environment, of course my anxiety was through the roof considering soon enough I was going to have a c-section. I have never had one done, anesthesiologist was great and so was my surgeon, quite a few people in training which made me feel a little uncomfortable but we both made it through the surgery safe. During recovery I had severe gas pains, nurses kept attempting me to start walking the next mid-day when I was still having severe gas pains and they looked at me like I was a joke as well as maybe acting? Or scared to walk?? Of course I would love to get up and run a marathon but it's difficult when you are experiencing horrid gas pains. Pain was not managed well, nurses wrote in false progress notes. 2 days after my surgery, my gas pains were still terrible, pain was still not managed correctly and I was also having muscle pains. I asked the nurse if there was anything else I could take such as a muscle relaxer to help with my pains along with the narcotics I was taking to help ease the pains. She talked to a lead RN and recommended vistaril.. it barely helped with muscle aches like a regular muscle relaxer would and it also knocked me out completely. I couldn't take care of my 2 day old baby... I was SO out of it like I was given a horse tranquilizer. I was pumping/breast feeding at the time so as you could imagine it was DIFFICULT to even hold up the pumps, I kept falling asleep and had to be woken up WHILE pumping.... I simply asked for a muscle relaxer or something else besides ibuprofen and Tylenol to help manage my pains considering 2 days prior I had a c-section. She based my pain on anxiety and pain management. Didn't give me the narcotic unless I asked for it because it was a prn (as needed) when again, I was literally just sliced into.... It should be common sense to just give it when it is available.. she was sassy when I asked another nurse that came in the room if I was able to have the narcotic and came in shortly after and said "I can't just give you the medication unless you ask for it so next time please ask and I will get you one". I was speechless. What was supposed to be a non stressful delivery experience, was very stressful, mentally exhausting/draining, the list goes on. Lactation ladies were amazing, don't get me wrong maybe like 2 nurses were AMAZING. 2 nurses helped me set up my pumps, watched my baby so I could rest for a few hours, helped me in the bathroom/with transfers with no hesitation and were very heartwarming good souls. I just don't understand why people work a job where there job requirements are patient based care. This one specific nurse that over drugged me, put in a progress note that I was "knocked out from the vistaril" and how I asked for something to help me sleep so she gave me that???; had me in tears. I did not expect to not be able to function. But I guess in her eyes "this was distressing" for me. (I blacked out the nurses name and the dates due to having respect for others) I highly suggest if you are getting a c-section or go into labor and delivery not to tell them you have anxiety. In short they might hit you with a sleeping pill and tell you it's a muscle relaxer and your muscles won't feel a difference! You'll get great sleep tho and feel so drunk when you are woken up to take care of your baby! But don't worry. They did their job???

They lie and tear families apart. The most horrific experience I have ever had! They should be shut down for the horrible, terrible things they did and the lies they made up. Thank God everyone realized and saw what they were doing and my mom is safe and out of there and I see her every single day. They purposely kept me from my mom. They are cruel, heartless, and I wonder how they sleep at night. There are a few nice staff, but most are 2-faced and lie. My mom is no longer being held hostage in their homes. I could give you graphic details and pictures but it's not worth it. They are not worth my time. Thank God everyone saw through the lies and got my mom out safely. Their doctor is worthless and doesn't have a clue how to do his job. Seriously, keep your loved one far away from this company. In the house my mom was in one resident died, then another one died shortly after, then my mom rushed to the ER. I started to fear something fishy was going on. The RN has zero personality and gives you zero confidence in her abilities. I could go on and on but I have said enough. Beware: If you report them to MDH or MAARC, the President will keep you from your family member. I am thankful for Ulissa, Ace, Ann, and Brooklyn. I certainly hope the 4 of you move on to a more reputable company and realize the terrible company you work for. It's a cult-like facility and actually scary. It's an absolute shit show. So glad my mom escaped their cult-like prison safely. They actually told me that Red Robin would be her home permanently. Then they pulled a stunt saying it would be shut down and moved her to the more expensive house to steal her money. The other house never shut down and the other 2 residents my mom lived with still live there. They wanted my mom's money. Thank you to the Guardian and the Ombudsman. You saw their true colors. My mom is free and safe and I get to love on her non-stop. The staff at her new facility are amazing and so understanding and loving. Night and Day Difference! Stay away please!
