The representative over the phone was warm and cordial. Came in, got the window replaced in under two hours, and paid the quoted price I received over the phone which was typical compared to other shops. I have been getting my windows tinted from pilson Auto Glass since 1995. This is my go-to place every time I get a new vehicle and I want to put tint on the windows. Last time around I did try to get some pricing from other places and no one was even close to the low prices here. They honor their lifetime warranty, I had a window that started bubbling up 6 years later, I showed the receipt and they took care of it free of charge. Didn't make me wait longer because my window was not profitable. I would recommend getting here early in the morning , especially on the weekends otherwise you could wait a few hours to a half a day to get your car back. read more

Called to get estimate on windshield replacement- was given a quote of about 350. When I told him I had just gotten a replacement for 250 not that long ago on very similar car, he said ok it can be 255 and to come in. (Not sure why he was up charging me from the get go). I got there and he let me know it would be actually 500 because of some reason that he didn't really explain. Needless to say- I didn't use them for my repair. A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! They proved they have windshield for any kind of car, even a 28 year old car!! My windshield fractured in one place & at the end of the day it was 1/2 of the windshield. Last week I went to Pilsen Auto glass for the third time. So, I'm a repeat customer. Two windshields for different cars. One was the OE windshield , they can get the real deal or aftermarket. They were very fast but trust me it's not a good thing. I had called to because they didn't fully cover my windows and they were nice about and said to take it back and they would fix , which I was giving them the benefit of doubt but literally right after they "fixed" I went home and seen that they literally used marker to cover the spots that had no tints. mind you it was the owner I was speaking to when I told him something and he said he knows that he did put maker on one of my windows. Wow! These guys were stellar. I called about a quote for my passenger rear quarter glass to be replaced as my car was broken into a few weeks prior. They said it would be an estimated $90 and it was. At any other shop, this definitely would have taken at least a day or two. I walked in without an appointment at about 1:15pm, drove my car with a replaced and completely sealed window at about 1:35pm. I don't have much experience with auto glass repairs, but as someone with only this amount of knowledge, this went way better than expected. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is having issues with the auto glass or needs a replacement. I also failed to mention that my windows are tinted all around the vehicle, the replacement quarter glass was the exact match of my current tints. read more

Adrian (sp?) did a GREAT job in fixing my window and cleaning all the glass shards in my car. He even did the best he could in repairing the bent in the window frame, even though that was not something they do. The wait was not long at all, approximately 30 to 40 minutes. The waiting room is small and a bit messy but who cares about the ambience of an auto repair shop? As long as they do a great job, which they did. The cost was almost 50% less than the other places I received quote from, but it could be bc they offered to come to you versus you bringing your car in. read more

Replaced my windshield on my coupe for $155 all together. Service took about 2 hours to complete and no appointment was necessary. Only issue I have is their handiwork is sub-par. They have glue all over the car and they didn't fix my wires that was on my windshield dashboard. Sloppy and rushed is what it looks like. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Had to visit Pilsen Auto Glass after a sucky event where my car was broken into. I parked my car near the red line so I could take the train to class. I didn't pick my car up till the next morning (my house is only a few blocks away). And that's when I realized, my window was shattered across my back seat. Bridgeport isn't exactly a crime-filled neighborhood. There were houses across the street, a police station a few blocks away, and a busy intersection a few steps away . But with my luck, I got broken into. My boyfriend and I brought the car to Pilson Auto Glass and they were really friendly. I filled out some quick paper work and they were on the phone right away looking for a replacement. My car was ready around 5 that day. The only problem was the glass doesn't exactly match the original one but since you can't tell the difference unless you really looked, so I let it slide. I took my brand new suv here to be tinted based on several great reviews for the business. When I took the suv in I explained how I wanted it done, and the associate was dismissive. I assumed based on the reviews I'd get good service. They were done really quick (under and hour). I went home, and about 5 days later I noticed a lot of spots on the windows were debris prevented the tint from adhering. I called the shop up, and explained what was happening, and they said wait another 3 days. I decided to drive back up there, and he said it was bad, and he'd redo the tint, but on the other door he said it won't be perfect, and some imperfections are to be expected. I explained I've never had tint show spots where it didn't adhere properly, and that before they started work I explained what I wanted. He scheduled an appt, but when I got there they were already working on another car (I was supposedly the first car, and I was 5 mins early), I didn't say anything. He redid the one door, when the suv was complete no one went over what was done, or even apologized that I had to return, just motioned me to the suv to leave. They all seemed really irritated! And after I left, and went to a gas station I could see how they scraped the tint to get it on, it was covered in scratches, it was hard to see in the shop due to minimal lighting. It looked like a real amateur job. I took the suv to MIDCO TINTING where I know his work, and he stands behind it, I was trying to patronize a business in a neighboring community, but that didn't work out well at all. I didn't even go back to complain because I could see where they didn't use care, and were scratching up my door pilar during installation . Use this place at your own risk! I won't be going back, or recommending them to anyone!!! read more

One day my window went down and wouldn't roll back up again. It was really stressing me out due to possible theft and I didn't want to have to drive all over the city getting the best price. My staff member told me to try Pilsen Auto Glass. I brought it to them without an appointment and they said it would cost $35 to diagnose. Everyone was nice there and I agreed to the fee. I waited about 10 minutes and they told me it needed a new motor, but they said if I bought the motor from them and they installed it, they would put the $35 toward a $75 total for a new (used) motor and installation. It took a few hours to do and it cost about $78 total. I was pleased. read more

I called around during work to see who could fix it. I brought my car to The New Pilsen Auto Glass, Inc because they quoted me the best price ($60; some quotes were as high as $180) and had good reviews. They totally lived up to my expectations. Adrian accepted my car around 5:30pm (even though they close at 6pm) and had my window fixed before 6pm. They even vacuumed out most of the glass from the interior. The total cost was $62.
