I ordered the Amber and it was good, malty and well balanced. But I'd wanted to try the 8th Anniversary release, and I flagged our waiter down to ask about it. He didn't respond. Not a wave off, not a "one sec," nothing. Nobody had come by before that to mention specials, refill a water, or check if we needed anything. Probably not the best look. The building is an old cigar warehouse with vaulted ceilings and exposed brick, and it deserves a staff paying as much attention as the space does. The Amber held its own. I just would have liked the chance to compare it to something they were clearly proud enough to name after their own anniversary, if anyone had been around to bring it. read more

My friends and I were walking around downtown Greenville on a hot and humid day when we decided to stop into New Realm Brewing Company -- best decision we made all afternoon! The laid-back brewery atmosphere was perfect for cooling off with good company. I went with the smash burger (double patty) and it was delicious -- juicy, flavorful patties with a great sear. The fries were crispy and addictive. To beat the heat, I paired it with their Hazy Like a Fox IPA, which was fantastic: super refreshing, juicy hops, and exactly what I needed on a sticky day. Service was friendly, the portions were generous, and we had a wonderful time relaxing with our drinks and food. Such a great spot to break up a walk around town. The atmosphere is awesome. The outside is setup to establish, drink and watch a large screen. If you go, make sure to sit outside. The 2 stars are for the inside. We visited on 6/20 and both bartenders in the downstairs area were horrible. They acted as if they didn't want to be there and as of we were a burden. I said I would never come back to this location until I stepped outside. They were dismissive and nonchalant. The pizza was really good. Stopped in for lunch after a walk past the falls on a gorgeous autumn afternoon. The server was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. We sat outside to soak up some sunshine and watch dogs playing in the park beside the balcony. The brewery has lots of events in the adjacent lot including pet adoptions! It's an incredible space with two floors inside, a big patio, and the sprawling yard with picnic tables. Our beverages were delicious - as was the pepperoni pizza! The pizza was thin and crisp with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The oven gave the crust just the right texture and crisp not to be excessively floppy! Eventually a seat opened at the bar and we headed that way. It took quite a while to be acknowledged by the bartender and order a beer. We had lunch and two beers and it took significantly longer than it should have based on how busy it was. We weren't the only ones ignored by the bartender as we watched multiple people come up and have to wait super long to even be acknowledged. The other poor signage was the bathroom; you have to go down the stairs and basically underneath them and around the corner and just hope you find it. The only sign was on the bathroom itself. The food was excellent though and I'd highly recommend anything with bacon! read more

I absolutely loved my visit here on (Sunday) 03/09/25!!! This was the perfect spot to explore after leaving the SEC Women's basketball Championship game. I received attentive service by the staff from start to finish. The bar has TVs and is quite spacious! I sampled a few beers and eventually settled on a hazy IPA. I forget the name , unfortunately but it was refreshing and not heavy. During my visit there was also live wrestling!!! Yesssssss and it was so much fun to watch. I really enjoyed this unexpected event. New Realm Brewing is beautiful inside and is an upstairs and downstairs venue. It's extremely spacious inside as well as outside. I highly recommend a visit here! Oh! I can't forgot about the fish and chips I ordered to take back to my near by hotel. The fish was crunchy and flaky inside and came with fries/coleslaw. So excited this brewery is now open! Great addition to the neighborhood and for game days. The building is amazing and happy the historic elements shine thru. Ample seating with two levels and two bars along with an entire outdoor area with several picnic tables that have umbrellas. Very inviting from Rhett or Main entrances and across the street is 2 hour parking. Sat at the downstairs bar ordered beers and food. Fast service and great food items with a variety of different types so everyone can find something to eat. Beer was draft and ice cold very refreshing for this humidity. Located in the Historical Cigar Warehouse, New Realm Brewing company is nestled in dazing West End, with multiple options for patrons to enjoy: outdoors in the lawn with self service, patio with table side service, or indoors in the main hall for indoor seating. I sat on the patio for a perfect 73 degree weather night with a slight breeze with a wonderful staff to help navigate the menu. My friend and I ordered the Gaffney with house made gin, and perfectly puréed peaches and the Espresso Martini. The gin gave the juniper, citrus, and rose an exciting, refreshing, and unapologetically smooth cocktail. The martini was perfectly shakes with real espresso, homemade cream and was a delightful kissed martini. We dove into the small bites and ordered the Asian Style Loaded Fries and the Hand-Twisted Bavarian Pretzel. CHILLEEEEE, the fries were chefs kiss with the peeve it cooked pork, melody of garlic miso mayo, even down to the last fry-- they held up to the action packed ingredients. The pretzel was perfectly flavored with a light and fluffy pretzel paired well with the homemade cheese and the stoneground mustard dipping sauces. Jessica was our waitress, and she was epic. She reminded us the gift of sampling beers prior to selecting, and was super patient as we continued to try new drinks. The cherry limeade was my 'dessert' that felt like a cool summer night at Sonic with an extra little kiss of childhood memories with homemade limeade with cherries was delicious. We will be back! Cannot wait to see continued success looks like, as these guys were 3 weeks in with amazingly quick service, recommendations from the staff, and we left with full bellies, content spirits. We've been here a couple of times now and really like it! There is a large selection of drinks available, the menu, while standard brewery fare, has a lot of options as well. I really like how polite the staff are, and your order typically doesn't take a very long time. There are two main areas, and downstairs there is a speakeasy for private events. This space is amazing. It's an old cigar warehouse that they've transformed into an awesome bar space. There's an upstairs and downstairs bar area, a speakeasy, and a large outdoor area. The history and details are really cool and worth visiting just to see the building. The beer and food were great. I tried a couple ipa that were solid. Good beer but they don't seem to have all of the act together. When I arrived to visit with a friend at 4pm, I was advised that the front entry area and entire upper level was closed for a private event. I was instructed to go to the side and follow the sidewalk to the back where I could get to the downstairs area. I followed the sidewalk to the back and it was locked. Some construction was going on back there. I went back to the front and the gal seemed surprised. She walked out with me and agreed there was no access. Told me to wait by the outdoor tables and she'd find a manager. Five minutes later, there they come, look at the gate, and then walk right past me back inside. I walked back to the front and the gal said, okay, I could enter there and go down the stairs. Then, once we were seated, the music kicked in from the upstairs event and it was so loud we could hardly hear each other. Frankly, I don't like having to work this hard to give someone my business. The place was very interesting and fun. It was hot out though and we were near the front door so it felt hot in the restaurant. The pretzel with cheese was very good. The beer and cocktails were good. The Cuban sandwich was ok. It needed more flavorful mustard and better pickles to make it taste good. The fries are battered and many people like that but it was ok. The most disappointing was the potato soup. I got that as my meal and there was no potatoes. You could find a very tiny shred that looked either like a potato or an onion. It was mini. The cheese was good but so upset that potato soup had no real potatoes in it. It would be nice to offer a piece of bread to go with it too. read more

This place is the best! My family and I went there for lunch and it was great. We got the pepperoni pizza, turkey sandwich, shrimp tacos, and buffalo chicken wings. The ambiance of this old building is very cool with natural wood and steel beams, great outdoor space to eat and play yard games. The first time I went I got the tuna poke bowl which was so dry, absolutely no sauce. They have the sriracha Mayo/soy sauce on the poke nachos so I'm not sure why they don't put it on the bowl as well, was just lacking flavor. We tried it out again this past weekend with some friends and had more menu items that were very good, the hot chicken sandwich, hummus appetizer, Asian loaded fries, fish and chips, and the new realm burger. Everything we had was delicious and I would order them again, the stand out was the hot chicken sandwich and the fish and chips. I do think they should specify that the burger is a smash burger, was looking forward to a thick, juicy burger. Great venue. Really good food. Horribly managed. Went for a Browns Backers event. Ordered first beer at bar And opened a tab. Found a seat, ordered a second beer and was told I had to close out bar tab. Done. Asked server for a food menu. Twenty minutes later she said "Oh! I'll get you a menu." Ordered a sandwich and another beer. Great sandwich! Beer came out in a plastic glass! PLASTIC! During the entirety of the game neither myself nor anyone seated near the screen could hear any sound. Time for checkout. Went round and round with the barmaid trying to get me to pay for 2 beers and to charge me for 2 beers while seated at a table. I asked for manager. After much discussion, I got the point across: I HAD ONLY 3 BEERS! ONE FROM THE BAR, 2 FROM MY TABLE! As far as the the lack of tv sound, he said they had a contract with the soccer backers (downstairs) so we had no sound. The soccer match ended and he said the football sound was on. I told him to go to the video wall and see if he could hear the football game. He didn't bite. Finally he said they were extremely busy so they ran out of glasses to serve beer in. I told him "You are a bar/restaurant in downtown Greenville, SC and you don't have glasses to serve beer in or to have someone to wash used glasses? Beer, in a bar served in plastic is totally unacceptable!" Butkus! He said "I'm sorry we can't please you." Done. I don't need this. There are many places in Greenville, SC to watch football. This is our second time in one week eating and enjoying drinks at New Realm Brewing in Greenville. I cannot say enough. This place is top notch. The food is AMAZING! The drinks are delicious and the ambiance is perfect! Lots of seating and options for inside and outside. We were excited to check out New Realm; Hazy Like a Fox is one of our favorites. Went inside to order and got served pretty quickly. We watched as the bartender filled the cups with 3/4 foam. As we watched another bartender asked us if we needed help and I said we were already getting foamy beers (kind of as a joke). His response was that they had just changed the taps but the way he said it was snarky. Then the original bartender handed us our beers; one was full but the other had a good 1"+ of foam on the top. When I asked if I could get a little more in it he responded, "That's a FULL beer" when clearly it wasn't. I was kinda shocked. What kind of service is that? I always tip and tip generously at least 20% but I am leaving NO TIP. The service was NOT friendly. Disappointing experience. read more
