Post-run stop to get Prince's hot chicken sandwich & quite devastated to discover yee-haw is no longer partnered with them - RIP tendie flavor. Smash burger is still slaps tho

Stopped in while visiting Greenville. Love the space and location, being in downtown Greenville. Greta selection of beers and food options, along with spaces for watching games and other events. I really wanted to like the chicken wings that I ordered. However, they were just OK to me. I probably should have asked that they had been fried hard so that they were more crispy/crunchy. But I will give them another try if and when I visit Greenville. The service and staff were great and gave good recommendations, Nations Home Lending and how the process works for ordering food and drink.

Yee-Haw was an alright brewery, and a pretty good place to watch a major sporting event. Despite the fact that I went at a pretty chilly time of the year, they had plenty of heaters, as well as a fire to keep me and the other patrons outside warm. The inside of the brewery was nice as well, although it didn't have as much seating as most of the other comparable breweries that I've been to. They did have one drink that I really liked, which was a Gatorade-flavored seltzer, which tasted great and canceled out the taste of alcohol excellently. On the other hand, I was slightly disappointed at their selection of beers, as they didn't have a particularly strong selection of IPAs, and the IPA that I did get was nothing special. Overall, I'd rate Yee-Haw as being a slightly above-average brewery, which was "good," but lacked anything that really blew me in comparison to the many other breweries that I've patronized.

Cool place. Lots of TVs to game watch, the food was great! Staff is so nice. We have the smash burger and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries. Both were delicious. Played shuffleboard while we waited and really enjoyed ourselves.

Visited YeeHaw for the South Carolina-Clemson game and we had a great time! Here's what you need to know: Drinks: fantastic with an emphasis on moonshine / whiskey based drinks. They have seasonal options that are great. Highly recommend the blackberry shine lemonade and the moonshine flight. Wish the cocktails had been stronger though. Food: so good I couldn't take a picture of it. The pretzels are huge and hot- I recommend getting a side of honey mustard with it. The smashburgers are delicious with their secret sauce. Service: if you come on a busy day, such as the one we came on, prepare to wait in a bar line that wraps around the place. Bartenders are quick though, and I came once before and didn't have too much of an issue. They have little fireplaces and heaters outside to keep patrons warm in the colder weather.

This place is such a nice drink and social spot. The outdoor area is nice, it wasn't too packed, but it wasn't empty and dry. I love this place for a nice group gathering. However, the food sucks The chicken is a little too cooked so I was spitting out a lot of pieces. The loaded fries, you can tell look dry. And they were. The chicken flavor was good though but I wish I had gotten spicy. I wish I had gotten the half I got the Mango pineapple mojito and it was just a regular mojito which sucks because I asked just to be sure and she said yes lol. It wasn't. But it was good. The "taco" if you don't eat bleu cheese, don't even get it. It's just chicken and tortilla shells. I added ranch, so then it's essentially just a chicken wrap. If I come again, I'd just come for drinks and socializing. Cute place though and it's a vibe.

Lived in Greenville for three years and finally made it to yee-haw! What a neat spot. We ordered the Brussels, tacos, pretzels, and root beer for the kids. The staff is friendly and attentive. I want to check it out for their Bachelor nights ! We will be back. Food was great and lots of options.

Y'ALL. We literally made a SHARP u-turn when we saw there was a Prince's Hot Chicken inside Yee-Haw Brewing. Even if you don't drink alcohol, AT LEAST stop in to try the famous Nashville hot chicken. I love the huge outdoor green area that is dog friendly. Half of it is covered; the other half is soaking up the sun. They usually have a huge game of some sort on the big screen too. The menu has changed quite a bit since my first visit in 2021 to Prince's Hot Chicken. The 2022 menu became more limited - versus the traditional hot chicken items there used to be, there were only a few hot chicken options to choose from. Even so, I did love the wings (they come in 3 or 5 per order and they're the full wing, so don't be concerned about the price tag) - but bring back the 1/4 dark chicken! Get them hot if you dare, but medium is definitely more manageable. Stop in for beer, leave with the hot chicken!

prepping for tasty menu items and then some comedy fest!

We have stopped by here a few times during our sojourns to Greenville. The food is top-notch, ranging from bite-sized bar snacks to full entrees of delicious and savory options. If you're a sports fan, you're in luck. The jumbotron outside really emphasizes the "jumbo," when it's showcasing your favorite team. Inside is plenty of brew pup ambience with a full staff ready and willing to make your experience epic and lovely. Can't recommend enough!

The worst, driest chicken tenders I've ever had. Perhaps the burgers are better. Never eating here again.

Although I'm not big on Reuben's my boyfriend said it was one of his top Reuben's and that man orders Reuben's on the regular. The pickle party was delicious. Not sure what they have in their brine but I would purchase again and again. The studio fifty forge was delicious. The only thing I would change is real bacon and not the microwaveable. Even though it was the microwave bacon it was still heated to be crispy. Huge beer selections and friendly staff. PLENTY of outdoor and indoor seating. Parking validation is also available. It might be had to find parking during busier times, but would still go again and recommend to others.

Hubs had the meatballs (which the server said they only had two left...a friend nabbed the others) and other friends had the moules (mussels) frites and the braised short rib IIRC. The *.frites were the biggest hits. My filet was perfect, Sharon was raving about her mussels being the best she's had in ages. I had a bite of the meatballs, they were ok but people agreed there are better things on their menu. I love that the frites come with a choice of 3 out of about 10 different custom mayos (aiolis for the fancy-schmancy). I tried the curry, sriracha, and a fruity one I can't remember exactly what it was. I liked the fruity one the best and to my surprise, the curry the least (I usually love curry, but the balance was off). The sriracha mayo was too subtle for me, I slather sriracha mayo on my burgers regularly. I have no class. The frites were fresh cut and I enjoyed them but there were far more than I could eat on my plate, and sadly frites don't keep. They have my favorite super sweet Lindemann's framboise lambic on tap; I've only ever had it in bottles before, so that was a treat. My husband thinks I'm crazy to drink it because it is SO SWEET but I love it. So does Sharon, and clearly we're not alone or they wouldn't waste a tap on it :). It's beer for people who hate beer. (I resemble that remark. Maybe hate is a strong word. But in my 30s I realized I'd rather drink a soda than a beer, except for this one.) Desserts sounded good but we were too stuffed to order any. Next time I come, I may try the mussels, or I might just order that steak again.

It's in a basement that feels like a pleasant dungeon or a 1500's rogue tavern, you know, the kind in the movies where plots to overturn evil rulers are hatched. It is a unique vibe and after your meal, when emerging back onto the brightly lit street, it's akin to stepping out of a secret place and back into the light of day. The beer selection is impressive. This food is Belgian inspired. Hence the name being derived from a mix of Trappist Monks, trap doors, and a hidden underground enclave. Many of the beers have higher alcohol content, listed on the menu, be advised. The specialty is Moules Frites, mussels prepared in various broths and fries double fried in duck fat served with a flight of your choice of flavored mayonnaise such as wasabi, curry, truffle, sriracha, etc. Very good. Reservations are highly recommended. It was a busy Thursday at 6:30pm and the place was literally packed, even the bar. The two of us were seated in a large, dark, alcove booth fitting for six or perhaps even eight. We had a reservation, so the hostess said, "we may as well fill it" since it was that crowded. Being such, it was five minutes before we were noticed and placed our drink orders, another five before our water arrived and we ordered and about 30 minutes later to get our food. In between we were left to ourselves. The service was not negligent, but it was minimal and not really friendly either. It was a busy night, so we will have grace. But the mussels were delicious. We both had the Provincale, a rich, savory, Mediterranean sauce of tomatoes, garlic and white wine. Bourdain says "never order the mussels", in his Kitchen Confidential book, but here you are safe because they are very popular and the main feature. I've probably said this before and it is worth repeating, they need to up their crusty bread game. The broth is so good and the accompanying bread just doesn't lend itself to bringing the dish to another level, but it could were it better bread. This is a solid and must do restaurant experience when visiting Greenville. It arguably should be the "one" restaurant you must visit in town because of its unique ambiance and unique food & beverage.

The nautical theme and decor throughout the space was a great touch--anchors, ropes, and deep-sea tones gave it a quirky, seafaring charm that made the experience feel more curated and intentional. There were a few groups hanging out when we arrived, and while it wasn't packed, there was only one bartender working, so we waited about five minutes to be helped--not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. We each ordered a flight, and here's what I tried: Sic'em Sour - sour ale with peach and cherry Italian ice Sour Blueberry Lime - sour ale with blueberry and lime Chonk: Banana Split - sour ale with banana, strawberry, chocolate, and lactose Strawberry Shortshake - milkshake IPA with strawberry and vanilla And then, on a whim, I also grabbed a pour of: Maple Banger - imperial stout infused with maple syrup and toasted maple wood I finished them all, but a few truly left an impression. The Chonk was indulgent and playful--like drinking dessert--with that banana split profile hitting every note just right. The Sic'em Sour was a fruity explosion, sharp and refreshing, like someone blended summer and poured it in a glass. And just when I thought I was done, the Maple Banger hit me like a warm hug from a Canadian lumberjack. Rich, velvety, and layered with real maple goodness--I could've had endless glasses of that one. Hands down a personal favorite. Two flights and a couple of cans came to around $30, which felt totally fair for the experience and the quality. Overall, The Whale is a fun, flavorful stop for beer lovers, especially if you enjoy exploring different styles. Not every brew was a hit, but the vibe was awesome, the décor was unique, and a few of those beers? Truly memorable. I'd definitely stop by again next time I'm in Greenville.
