Ponti, the owner, made this birthday so special for our 6 year old and all her friends. From the beginning he was so easy to work with and very communicative. Ponti has kids birthday parties down to a science with different activities planned out that all the kids loved! Him and his team handled it all while we got to relax and chat with other parents. On top of that, we didn't have to worry about goodie bags because all the kids went home with a couple pieces of glow in the dark art that they made. There was a separate, and massive, room for food and drinks so when cake cutting came around it was so easy. Also he made setting up and packing up so easy. If you're looking for something different and special for your kid's birthday, I can't highly recommend Art Rebel Studio enough!

My son attended two days of the camp for kids. It smelled strongly of cigarettes inside for the…read morefirst hour. My son's aide (my son is disabled) said it could have been a casino given the smell. This was true for the two days he attended. We won't be finishing the week despite paying for it. Pretty sure smoking inside that building is illegal and definitely shouldn't be allowed right before kids come in. The instructor also left the room entirely several times for 15-20 min. While my son's aide was there, he is not an employee of the camp and should not be responsible for the other children present. Besides those issues, the camp itself was very underwhelming with minimal activities planned beyond drawing. We have done art camps at half the cost that put much more thought into it and didn't lead to lung damage from smoke inhalation.

No school now days will teach you how to draw and paint like Rembrant, Bougerou, Ingres, In fact many art schools now days do not teach you the most important concept of drawing and that is that in art learning is life long it does not end with a degree. LAFFA emphasizes that. Furthermore many art schools focus simply on art being just paint splattered on a canvas or some weird as hell sculpture that sells for millions and where the "artist" i.e. like KOONs and Andy Warhol do not even do any work at all. LAFFA is very much like how people back in the ECOLE Beux arts were taught, or how those in the high renaissance were taught, in the atelier style, by the end of one class you will have learned how to truly draw which is the basis of all art! As an example, the images attached show a before/after of a painting I did. The assignment was a self-portrait. This was my first time painting a portrait, and I was having significant trouble. After several hours of trying, and failing at home, I decided to wait until the next time I had class. When I got to class and asked for help, within fifteen minutes--literally--Melanie taught me the applicable knowledge, and some great advice that allowed me to immediately improve the painting to a satisfying outcome. Anybody interested in art is guaranteed to benefit from her classes. Her energetic passion for art is contagious. It is also very clear that she understands, and has the solution to many problems that an artist may face. She has an equal amount of patience and understanding for the beginner student as she does for her most advanced. Unfortunately, our visit today was a completely different experience. Most of the interesting craft supplies we remembered. fun stones, colorful glass gems, unique trinkets, ribbons , sparkly stuff and creative materials were gone. Instead, the crafting area was mostly filled with things like pipe cleaners, scraps, cardboard, paper clips, boxes, stickers and other everyday items that you could easily find at home and def not worth $50 an hour. We also noticed very young toddlers wandering around, banging on projects and breaking things, which made it difficult for older kids to enjoy the space and didn't feel very organized. It honestly felt like the studio had lost a lot of the creativity and magic that made us fall in love with it in the first place. I really hope they bring back the unique materials and imaginative atmosphere they used to have, because it was once such a special place
