Great experience from start to end! We arrived early on a Friday and quickly realized we were a whole day early! Even though we accidentally booked for Saturday, they were very accommodating and set us up for a Friday rental instead. Everyone involved in the service was very friendly and provided clear directions throughout the experience. We were shown the map inside and instructed on where to go to perfectly meet our 4-hour window. The same map was displayed on the Polaris while we drove which was great and fairly easy to follow. The Polaris RZR was clean although a little wet. The added benefit of the cooler with some cold water in the back was much appreciated. Thank you to the personnel who helped make sure the helmets and seat belts were all securely fastened before we took off. The trail had some smoother spots but was very rocky throughout. Nothing the Polaris couldn't handle though! All in all, we had some great views and saw a few animals including burros, birds, cows, and a jackrabbit. Would recommend this experience! We had a fantastic time! Even as 'Senior aged' individuals, my wife and I had a fantastic time. I did not give a 5 Star rating, because we were given a UTV that did not have GPS working (and was known to the staff, but not told to us before going out into the desert). This limited us as to where we felt comfortable going. We actually got lost, and had to use our phone settings for family members to come and find us (rescue us). Was told there are a couple of UTV's in the fleet that the GPS is broken. Otherwise, good time for the rest of our family. read more

This was a lot of fun. Very helpful staff, the vehicles are in great shape, the GPS makes it easy to follow the trails. The one thing I would like to see them offer is hearing protection. These side by sides make a lot of noise, so having a pair of disposable ear plugs to offer along with the helmets and googles would be a very nice option. read more

We rented 3 Rzr's and went on a 4 hour ride. We had a great time and the New River Off Road team were a great support. Two of the three UTV vehicles were like new condition. The third was older but ran like a top! Be careful with the turbo 1000. Its crazy fast and potentially very dangerous. The orientation video and training was quick but comprehensive. We had a couple of challenges out on the trail that they were very quick and responsive to accommodate. The trail had great variation- some easy flat, some rocky and rugged, some steep and angular requiring low range 4x4. Overall the terrain was beautiful and scenic- a perfect combination so you could get a taste of the amazing capability of these little machines and felt like you had a really good off-road Arizona adventure. We went two days before Christmas and it was great as there was very little traffic out there. I recommend picking an off days where you can have the trail all to yourselves. I also recommend bringing tinted polarized goggles for the sunny days. They provide clear ones but they don't protect your vision when you are facing the sun. Overall, we highly recommend NROR ATV Rentals for your next family adventure. read more

This place is AWESOME! We took a turbo to crown king (8 hour rental) and had the best time ever. They supplied all the gas and coolers and waters and helmets/goggles and gps tablets. What's nice about this place compared to the other atv rental place we did in March of 2019 is that this place really felt like a family place. Damien the manager helped us get all set up in the vehicle. The hold was released exactly at midnight- they said 24 hours but it only took like 10 hours. We rented a four seat Razr to celebrate Father's Day with our family on Sunday, 6/21/20. It was THE MOST FUN EVER!!! We took the Table Mesa trail with Dad at the wheel. The side by side was in great shape and took us safely over some very rocky terrain to see some beautiful scenery. Arizona never disappoints. The staff was super friendly, courteous and helpful. I gave them four stars instead of five only because I felt the extra fees for the two hour trip were a bit much. The price was supposed to be $199, but came out to $300 after the extra fees were tacked on. There was also a $1500 deposit placed against our account, which is understandable as a lot of expensive damage could be done to the equipment. That deposit was very quickly reversed after we returned the Razr in good condition. All in all, the trip was worth it for the fun family time spent together. read more

We rented a side by side , and now they say we damaged it so they kept the 3.000$ US to fix it ,change the frame & some lining's ( some of the lining's were already missing when we took it , they sent it to the Polaris dealer to fix it (as new) and we can't even get an estimate or the bill to see the actual cost . It's a scam I don't recommend renting there , you should go to Sedona . read more

Such a great time! The owner was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend heading into the desert onto the trials. It's much prettier and not any more technical than the pipeline trail which had more people and was really bumpy. Would highly recommend renting from them. We had a 4 seater for us and our 8 & 10yr old girls and our 18 & 20 yr old boys had a 2 seater. We did switch up drivers and it was great. Side note, we did have side by side and plenty of off road experience going into this. However, it's not too technical out there. read more

After renting a side by side, the back passenger tire burst about 5 minutes into the desert trail causing the vehicle to turn on its side and slide for a ways. Fortunately I only had some cuts on my wrist an elbow, but the actual damage was forthcoming. A servicemen drove out to repair the flat tire and had me follow him back to the shop, I followed him back to to the shop, driving on a highway after an accident wasn't ideal, but the vehicle seemed fine. I returned it, they didn't give me another side by side to go back out and also did not give me a refund. They said they would take a look at the vehicle and take what they needed out of my 3,000 dollar hold. Did not take them long because they charged the whole thing a day later, and when I called the man who answered confirmed they didn't have an estimate yet but just knew it would take the whole hold. They never called or emailed me to let me know, just figured I would pay and not ask questions. I bought insurance for the tire, and in my mind all the damage they want me to pay for happened after the tire blew. That damage I do question considering I drove it back to the shop and it was fine. One of my friends that rode with me had a tire blow about 15 minutes after mine, Lucky for him it did not spill over so they could not claim his hold. I get that this is a business but what really bothers me is the complete lack of empathy, after I'm being dragged on the desert rocks they sit me down and have me sign some papers and say I don't owe them for a tire it will be okay. I would look for a place that has more of a passion for off road riding, this place is only a business and they will not work with you if god forbid something goes wrong. Again, I went out with two friends, two of us had our tires blow, my friend was lucky and I was not, this place didn't seem to care much and was eager to claim my 3,000 hold. read more
