I have gotten bourbon here, they do not have Dickle if you're looking, but they have a nice selection. For beer they have a lot of local options on draft. Made us feel uncomfortable, so we left. Fast forward to a couple nights ago . We were in the area and gave it another chance. Couldn't help to notice that all hip hop, rap, Latin music are completely blocked off. Politely asked the bartender what was up with that? He seemed very uncomfortable with my question and gave us a very sarcastic response. "Well, I guess that's a racist juke box." We immediately felt the bad energy. We proceed to finish our beers and play a jazz song by a black female singer. Immediately the bartender and some older biker looking dudes next to us start talking smack about the song. They asked if we put the song on? We said yes, and tell us to read the room. So I respond in a very sarcastic tone. "oh, you want us to read the room, would you like us to play some Toby Keith or Kid rock for you?" They smirked and had no response. I strongly believe the place is owned and operated by white supremacist maga brothren's. I would strongly encourage people In the neighborhood to stop supporting this business.

I'm playing nice today *SERIOUSLY*…read more So my friend met the owner at a car wash and she wanted to try this place. So we come in on a Friday night at 830pm and it's DEAD. Not 1 other patron was on the joint. We're like are yall open, they say yes and say we can sit anywhere. It's built out lounge and bar style not a restaurant so beware. We opted for the bar since that's the only chair/table type area the other seats were couches with end tables so we knew we were ordering alot of items and didn't want to be slouched eating. Fast fwd the bartender is friendly and she took our drink & food orders. We ordered the baddest b*tch drink which is Hynotic & Hennessy for $22. We then ordered lamb chops, 8 Buffalo wings, steak eggrolls with steak cut fries. It took the food maybe 10/15 mins to come out. Everything was fresh & hot, the drink was tasty too. (Not $22 tasty, but tasty) Oh adding injury to insult they dont have real dine in plates, they serve the food in to go containers. WEIRD they did bring us little boat trays to share. About 30/45mins we notice the crowd trickling in. They had a birthday party coming thru. So we finished our food and asked for our bill to leave because it was getting party scene crowded. The owner was VERY friendly, he introduced himself and asked how things were. 2 things I should've deducted more stars for, TOTALLY DISGUSTING DIRTY WOMEN'S BATHROOM!!!! With all the women working here they don't see the filth? I mean I almost would've rathered pissed on myself! Smdh Then the parking! Horrible, they blocked it off potentially for the owner/club or vip people, but that left no parking and we had to cross Western which is a busy Horrible street to be crossing late at night in heels or whatever. So they need to do better there. I would go back to party, not to dine in.

My experience started at 7am on a chilly February Sunday watching Team USA bring home gold over Canada. Hell of a time - scene was electric. Throughout my 7 hour visit, I got to know the owner (great guy) and some solid all around people. The Barn is in a prime location right by the United Center, offers quality service, strong drinks, and good food across the board (great pies and tendies). They've also got a VIP area I recommend if you're rolling with a larger group or want to elevate your client entertainment. Hell, even the restrooms were dialed in (which says a lot for a hockey bar). Also pro tip, if you see a cherry picker parked outside The Barn, do yourself a favor and ask the operator for a ride up to cheer on your home team and fire up the fans. #IgniteManagement

I live a good 20mins from this place to it took me 40mins in travel time. I tried calling but the number literally goes to message" welcome to Verizon wireless your call can not be completed"?!? Like what? I truly don't like writing bad reviews when I've had great food but this is beyond me. I can't complain to rectify the issue which is unacceptable so here I am. Refund, a new order, or a credit for the next time I come would be nice. I'm not going to fully scratch them off my faves list but this is a very bad experience in a long time. Gas pricing and food cost in this economy and I receive this food & that type of customer service. I refuse to accept or turn the cheek on cutting corners like this. We as patrons deserve better when hard money is paid. I was literally one of the first, if not the only of the afternoon, and I receive yesterday's pork? Absolutely not. I came in around 1:30ish. That's beyond disgusting. They gave me fresh fries & curds to throw on last nights meat. What's insane is that it comes with gravy & bbq. I opted out of it bc I don't like sauces as much. So imagine being a new customer getting old meat drenched in sauce to cover it. Very much a health hazard. I was literally going to share this with my kids! 0 out of 10. Just bc my kids would've eaten this if I didn't opt out of the sauce! Secondly look at how small amount of meat I received? A joke.

It was no wonder when we arrived that there was a line out the door. We waited around 45 minutes, and the bouncer was a really nice fellow who kept track of the numbers and people at the door. Upon entering, we were immersed in a dimly lit retro-style lounge. It was quite loud inside and packed as we walked to our seats. The server was great at taking our orders and offering suggestions. I opted for the French 75, which featured sparkling wine and mixed gin, brandies, and citrus. The drink was delicious, but STRONG. I don't know what they put in the cocktails in America, but I am always finished after one drink. Needless to say, we were all struggling to finish our own drinks. My favourite touch was the coasters, I ended up keeping all of them so that I can reuse them at my galentines event next year. The 'bisous' with the kiss on the other side is a perfect touch! I think the drinks are fairly priced for USD. I would love to return someday to try other drinks and bar bites, and also try their sister bar, Sparrow.

Imagine my shock when we didn't even make it past the bouncer because he was so rude, AS OTHER RECENT REVIEWS HAVE MENTIONED AS WELL! We had dinner nearby and walked to Bisous after, and saw there was a line of 5 or 6 people outside. We expected this as we knew Bisous is a first come, first serve bar. We were curious what the wait time would look like, so we approached the front door to ask a host or employee inside (we assumed there'd be a desk with an employee working it who could give us a wait time). We had no problem waiting, just wanted to see how long they estimated it would be! Before we could even fully open the door, the bouncer swung the door open from the other side and hit me with the door. I stumbled back a few steps and he looked at us and said, and I quote, "What do you want?". I laughed at first because I thought he was joking and putting on a tough guy act. He was not. We quickly explained we just wanted to see what the wait time was, and he said "don't you see there's a line outside?" We said yes, and explained we just wanted to know a rough estimated wait time. He just blankly stared at us while ushering us out. Both my boyfriend and I have worked in customer-service roles for a very, very long time. This encounter was not only extremely rude and unprofessional, but he also hit me hard enough with the door to send me stumbling back, and then said nothing about it and continued to address us in a tone that was nothing less than annoyed and irritated. We didn't end up going inside because that encounter left such a bad taste in our mouths. I don't believe in spending my money at establishments that don't treat their customers with the bare minimum respect they deserve! Bummed we didn't get to experience it, as I'm sure it was lovely inside and I can only hope the rest of the employees were much more kind and accommodating, or at least able to answer a simple question. Fire your "bouncer" (??) and hire someone with some basic customer service and communication skills!!

The patio is not dog-friendly as you must enter by way of the restaurant. Hours are limited to evening, and they may stay open later on event nights as a free shuttle service to the United Center is offered (but ask about return shuttles). There is quite a variety of options on the menu. Prices are what I would consider typical for the area; however, the portions are definitely large. I placed an order to go and opted for a chicken breast club with fries. The food was literally busting out the sides of the container, definitely enough food for 2 meals. The sandwich was gigantic, with fresh grilled chicken breast filets and notably delicious tomatoes. The fries are seasoned and SO good. If you area fry connoisseur like myself, I do recommend ordering something that comes with the fries. They offer numerous beer and cider draft options and craft cocktails. Drink prices were, again, what I would expect for the area. However, they are significantly less than drink prices at the United Center. Service was excellent my most recent visit and the few times I have been before. Most recently, the bartender was both friendly and chatty, and unintentionally had us talking to a couple that were going to attend the same concert as I was that evening. I did take the shuttle bus from the restaurant to the United Center. The bus driver was fun and attentive, also very kind and helpful upon exit. The delicious food and consistently great service I have experienced at the Park Tavern keeps me returning when I am in the area. Never change those fries ;)
