I visited Laura's practice for the first time a month or so ago and already notice the difference. During my first visit, Laura asked me a ton of questions. I feel like most doctors focus on the one thing that brings you in, but Laura really took a holistic approach in trying to understand my general health. It's been refreshing to work with someone who seems to genuinely care about my well-being and who is invested in helping me -- even with random things that I otherwise would have not thought to mention at an acupuncture appointment. Outside of my hip and pectoral pain, I also experience chronic lethargy, joint stiffness and nasal congestion. I never considered my diet as a potential factor, but with Laura's guidance have cut out dairy. I've been going to Dr…read more Gorman for less than a year now, when I first went to them I was told I was covered by my insurance company and that my co pay would be $20 per visit. After telling me I needed multiple visits a week to get "on track" to feeling better, they then tell me I'm no longer covered anymore because I'm only allowed 22 visits a year and my visits will now be $65 a visit. As unhappy as I was to hear about this, I still scheduled appointments with the office. Only until today 7/14/23, I explained to the receptionist how I would not be scheduling any more appointments ahead of time and I would like to instead call and schedule appointments if and when I needed them. Everything was fine and good until the end of my appointment their doctor aggressively questioned me about my "money issues" that the receptionist was telling her about and why I wasn't scheduling appointments anymore. I found it very unprofessional for anyone, let alone the doctor adjusting me, to make claims of a patient having "money issues". I will NEVER be back.
