I've been to Inner Spa several times & found the service very good. This is an intimate spa, low light that's very relaxing. I had a great massage, I tried the body wrap and tried colon hydrotherapy for the first time. Each time the staff was great. I have to admit I was a little uncomfortable trying colon hydrotherapy but Cathy explained it really well which helped my anxiety. The treatment was good & I would definitely do it again. The spa is small but well-equipped; lighting is soft and gentle. I have always been seen promptly. The staff are very professional and respect your need for privacy and modesty during procedures such as colonics. Had the hydrotherapy here, and really enjoyed it. The staff is super professional, and the entire environment is calming and pleasant. They use a closed-system, if you're a hydrotherapy guru, which I prefer since I like to have the attendant present during the session. My therapist was very knowledgeable without being overly hippie, and was a calming presence during the session. She applied some gentle massage, which eases the process. I'd recommend this place and the colonic hydrotherapy if you're not feeling quite as regular as in your halcyon days. read more

My wife got me this for a Valentines Day gift. Nothing says true love like a good colon cleanse! I had mentioned I wanted to try it years ago, and like a good partner, she remembered and got it for me. I was nervous as all heck. I got in the waiting room, filled out the standard work sheet and waited. The waiting room was nice. The mood was peaceful and dark, and no eye contact was made with the other patrons, since we all knew what was about to happen to each other. I was brought back to the room and my therapist came in. She was very nice and we chatted about the procedure and what the process was. After all the chatting, I went and changed into my gown. I got up on the table and she umm...inserted the tube. It was not as bad as a i expected. She started the treatment and from there it was a breeze. She was very nice and we chatted a lot during the procedure. After the hour was up, I got changed and was ready to go to the front desk and be pestered to get a package and spen more money then I was willing to. However, this did not happen. She suggested that I have this done every couple of months, handed me a chart with price plans, shook my hand and went back to her room. I booked another session for a month later. I was very impressed by how good I felt after it, and how well i was treated here. I would recommend InnerSpa to anyone interested. I did a body wrap. The only positive thing was that the person who did it was nice. The advertisement for the body wrap was disappointing though. I didn't realize the wrap inch loss would be temporary. The biggest issue is that my friend came and did the red light sauna which was literally you sitting in a chair with your head sticking out in a small tent. It should be embarrassing for an establishment to call it a sauna. It was a major rip off. My friend did not even sweat in it and the receptionist said they must have put the wrong setting on. So if you they made an error you would think they would discount yhe service. Nope. They just kept offering more products for us to buy. Really?? Never going back. read more

A woman named Christine gave me a 49 minute massage with many breaks for the price of a 60 minute massage. I gave them another try after new management.in 2014-2015 But then a snooty LOUD Newtown Woman who busted in without an appointment made my much needed body wrap a rushed tense bad experience.The staff became tense and rushed under the miserable client's command.I have given up I have never been back. Its a complete rip off I was supposed to get a package deal but because they were unable to book it the same day with their limited staff I had to overpay.I feel like and idiot for not walking out but I was naked so what was I going to do?You could not pay me to go back there. read more

Terrible. Went there 8/7/14. I will never go back. I believe I was given a facial by the receptionist. If she had any actual training as an esthetician she was very green. She seemed polite, but green. She kept making noise around the room as she went about her work. This made me think about all the other times I'd had facials and how beautifully quite it had been. Nevertheless, maybe that wasn't so bad since I still managed to doze off. The website says that they do extractions. They don't. At least not on me. Before I left the spa I made a short trip to the bathroom and made the mistake of not looking at my face in the mirror. Thank God I went straight to my car where - for I don't know what reason - looked at myself in the mirror. I was orange. Apparently, the girl that did my facial had not cleaned my face properly. I had orange stuff on the sides of my face, hairline, upper lip and nose. Thankfully I had some wet wipes in my pursue. I had to scrub quite a bit to get the stuff off. I was amazed at why the woman that checked me out, who I believe must have been the owner, did not tell me about it before I left her establishment. However, she did asked me if I wanted to buy any of their products and acted angry when I left a tip that was clearly not what she expected. When I stepped outside I wondered why I had even left a tip after such a disappointing experience. I don't know why Inner Spa is still in business. I don't think it will be for long. I had never until today felt the need to write a bad review about anything, but this place was so weird and unprofessional that I felt I had to. read more

I've been to Inner Spa about 6 times over the last 18 months or so. This is a comfortable, relaxing place from the minute you walk in the door. My first visits were for massages to help with some lower back pain. The massage therapist, Doreen, was fabulous. So attentive to what I needed and she gave a great massage. I liked that she checked in with me to make sure the pressure OK and she seemed very tuned into what was going on in my muscles. Most recently I was there for two facials with Natalie. The last one was just last week. I've had facials before, but these were truly the best facials I ever had! The products they use are wonderful and Natalie is very caring, friendly, and pleasant. I should have done better research before going to this spa. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!! Yes, the staff is friendly and they offer nice services in a calming atmosphere, but don't be fooled. THESE ARE SNEAKY SALES PEOPLE WHO ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING SALES. Be especially careful if you choose to buy a package. They are all about up selling and there are no prices on the VERY EXPENSIVE supplement bottles. I would also recommend that you pay in cash so they aren't able to store your credit card info. Overall, this was an expensive and disappointing experience. Also note that they absolutely will not give refunds. read more
