Went here after school with grandma and 2 kids. One being 6, the other 10. The 10 year old did not like the food. She tried 1 bite of pizza and 1 bite of noodles. She didn't even eat the ice cream she had gotten. I tried to nicely explain to our server that she didn't eat the food because she simply didn't like it, that I didn't mind paying for her drink, but it was ridiculous to have to pay for her since she didn't eat. She told me I still had to pay because she took a bite. When I went to pay, the manager said she would discount me, but as soon as I gave her my card, she charged for the full amount and was very rude. We noticed half way through our meal that there was dust all over the wood paneling trim on the walls and there was bugs on the window next to our booth. We used to come here alot a few years ago, but its gone down hill! Save your money and drive the extra miles to Sakura Buffet in Savannah. This place is typical of your average Asian buffet. The interior isn't perfect, but the service makes up for it. The food is average, and I was a bit disappointed at the sushi options they had, or lack of if you will. Out of all of the asian buffets in this city, I would absolutely have to say that this one of the better ones. A decent selection of sushi, chinese food, and lets not forget the small mongolian grill setup. I went here for lunch and even though i wanted to take pictures of the food i didnt because my brain was already telling me to shut up and eat. The food was fresh and im talking like nothing look dried up at all. Now dont get me wrong and i could have just been luck and, i guess getting there not to long after they opened may have had something to do with this. The sushi was fresh and pretty darn good. The mongolian, well you can never go wrong at the grill however i do wish they had more sauces to pick to cook with. The place is pretty clean to say the least. We dined here on 8/09/12..this was our second time at this all you can eat Chinese Buffet. The food was plentiful..Sushi bar abundant with many varieties and was attended by a Sushi Chef who consistently made more fresh Sushi !! The food items I chose from the food bars was very flavorful..especially vegetables which they cooked crisp tender!! Although the food items were generous with many flavors the actual food items seem somewhat greasy..not floating in grease..just shiny with grease. Delicious, clean and inexpensive. What more could you want? Each dish was flavored well. The buffet was kept hot and fresh. There was a nice variety of dishes to choose from, but also a wokery area. Sushi was also available. Dirty dishes were removed promptly from your table and the staff was quite pleasant and attentive. Even the restrooms were tidy. My family eats here at least 3 times week, me not as often. The buffet stays fresh and full. You can place your hibachi ingredients in a bowl and they will cook while you watch. The sushi is good with a small variety available. They also have roast and baked salmon. Over all good food and value. Came in for a quick lunch. Greeted and seated right away. The place is a little run down, but they had a good variety of food. The sushi rolls were mainly cooked fish or imitation crab and fish roe. They have a Habachi chef/station which was tasty. The Chinese food was delicious and simple... not so much the American food. I was disappointed. This restaurant may cater to the local taste, but was not well suited to my palate. I was only visiting. I had planned to make a meal from sushi. The rolls were okay, but the chef would not provide any sashimi. There were also no proper dishes for soy sauce. Instead they provided 2 oz plastic portion control cups. The offerings on the hot bars were slim and predictable. Nothing spicy at all. General Tso's chicken should be required on Chinese buffets, in my opinion. I had to reject the first three cups provided for soup because there was food residue. The egg drop soup was tasty, but the color was a little disconcerting in neon mustard. Won't ever eat here again. I watched servers Prepping food in the server station without gloves. I watched them drop the green beans they were preparing on the floor and then pick them back up and put them back into the tray they were preparing. They serve American Chinese food or as Chinese people would put it; white people Chinese food but better than the dog food that Panda Express has. It is not good Chinese food and I'm mostly convinced it doesn't exist anywhere in the Savannah area. For what you pay it is palatable enough for what it is. My wife and I love Chinese food, and we eat at China Buffets frequently. We were very disappointed in this experience. The food was not great, however I didn't get to try that much because they weren't bringing anymore food out. The buffet was pretty much empty, just scraps of what was left behind. We waited for an hour and no new food came out. . . This was a Friday night. You'd think they'd have something to eat. I made several trips to the buffet, but I only got a couple of chicken legs or an ice cream cone cause their wasn't anything else to put on my plate. The food we did eat was mediocre. My wife just ate some bread with butter on it. Our table was way in the back of the restaurant, and the layout was inefficient to get to the buffet and back to our table, a lot of bumping into other people. We left the waitress a tip cause it's not her fault, but $30 for 2 of us was way too much to pay and leave hungry. read more

They ran out of 3 different kinds of chicken, chicken and broccoli green beans and WHITE RICE! How do you run out of white rice at a chinese buffet? This place was average, I have definitely been to better buffet places. The waitress wasn't friendly at all. The buffet food was okay, they did keep filling up the trays. We ate here this evening and it was great. The food was fresh and hot. They have a great selection of Chinese and American food. The service was great also. Make sure you ask for the senior discount if you're over 60. I would of given it 5 stars but they didn't have General Tso's chicken which is my husbands favorite and pretty much a staple on most Chinese buffets. read more
