I took advantage of the hour of my daughter's workout to finally get a haircut. Done. The price is right for 15.00 plus tip. A lady cut my hair. She is very stoic, but no problem. I believe it's husband and wife that were there and both are from Vietnam. They are pretty Catholic with all the popes hung on the wall so a big plus for a Catholic like me. They did a good. I got a 3 on top with 1 on the sides and a fade. Perfect. I recommend this place.

When a customer tells you the type of haircut they want, it's your job to do the cut they want, not what you "recommend". I'm in barber school currently and that's one of first things that they taught us.

I told her I just wanted a change and she delivered! We had great conversation and she also taught me how to style my hair throughout the appointment. I loved being able to communicate with Angie directly beforehand with prompt responses via texts. I'm so excited to show off my new hair at my college graduation this weekend (picture attached)! There was a bit of a wait when I arrived, so I grabbed something to eat and came back a little later. When I returned, I only had to wait a few more minutes. Overall, I think the service was fair for the $8 price point. There were a couple of things that affected my experience. I was next in line, but another customer approached, and I heard Rani reassure them, "Just two minutes." While I understand wanting to acknowledge waiting customers, it made me worry that my appointment was going to be rushed. Personally, I'd rather wait a few extra minutes if it means the person providing my service can take their time and focus on the client they're currently with. During the threading, the thread snapped several times. At one point, it snapped hard enough that it went inside of my closed eye. I know accidents happen, and I wasn't upset about the mistake itself, but it did make the experience uncomfortable. Slowing down a bit could help make the service feel smoother and more relaxing. That said, I want to give credit where it's due. Rani was very detail-oriented when it came to shaping my eyebrows. She took the time to make sure they were even, well-groomed, and nicely trimmed. Right after my appointment, I wasn't sure how I felt about the final result. Now that a couple of days have passed, I've actually grown to really like them. Looking back, I appreciate how clean and polished my eyebrows look. Overall, I'd describe my experience as mixed. The actual quality of the eyebrow shaping was very good, but the threading experience itself left me a little uneasy. I'm still undecided about whether I'll return, but I can definitely say that Rani does nice work when it comes to shaping brows.
