NON-PERFFORMING CPA - WASTED MONTHS OF OUR TIME, CAUSING ADDITIONAL PENALTIES. REPEATEDLY PROMISED…read moreHE WAS WORKING ON RETURN BUT AFTER 4 MONTHS SAID HE ACTUALLY WASN'T AND COULDN"T COMPLETE THE RETURN BECAUSE AN OUT OF THE COUNTRY CLIENT WAS NOW MORE IMPORTANT. I was referred to Myron and Trafelet Accounting by a former CPA of my family's in California to help review and refile a rejected California return that had a very important deadline and attached 1031 FTB forms. I engaged with the Trafelet Accounting firm in May 2026 and had all of my information uploaded by the beginning of June 2026. I was told personally by Myron he would be working on the return that week, in June 2026. Then I heard nothing after that from him and every time I called his assistant Sara Johnson, she promised each time that I would get a call back that week. This went on for weeks and, every time, she would promise an update or a call back in 2 days and then no call back or communication happened. Myron finally called once at the end of Summer and said he was back in the office (his office is in Maricopa and he goes to Payson in the Summers where he says he works from) and would be working on our return that week. Then the silence, and promised updates with no update or call back afterward, returned After almost 2 more months of non communication, I got Myron on the phone today (Sep 18 - a full 3.5 months after having all of my info to him for a simple return review and refiling) and he told me he has a big client in Japan that is taking up all his time and he won't have time to complete my delayed return after all. This was a very drawn out process after already dealing with another CPA that could not complete the job. I only engaged with Myron Trafelet Accounting because he promised he could get the return done and refiled promptly. The fact that he prioritized another client from overseas over a local business owner is also very disappointing. Our return needed maybe one day or less of his time to complete but he couldn't do it. This is a 1 person firm with an admin who is not a CPA or EA - just an answering service from what I can tell. It was very unprofessional of this firm to take on an already delayed return and then just stall it out for months with false promises that it is being worked on. I would definitely not recommend after my experience.

Great pancakes!…read more Breakfast here was a win. I ordered nothing but pancakes. Buttermilk pancakes and Chocolate Chip pancakes. So so good. They were fluffy, smokin' hot, and beautifully plated. These pancakes are huge too. The plate of pancakes come as a stack of 3. I had a single chocolate chip and added one of the buttermilk pancakes to it and that was still plenty. The server and hostess were very nice and the atmosphere was quiet. I'll be back for lunch :)

This place was surprisingly bad about accommodating my soy intolerance. I called in advance and was…read moretold they cook most things in a canola/olive oil blend, which is good for me. When I got there and ordered, I told the waitress about my intolerance and ordered a salad with chicken. When my food came out, I was told my salad didn't have chicken because I couldn't eat the chicken, or any other meat in the restaurant, because they coat it in Pam spray (soybean oil). For a place that prides itself on making their own dressings, etc., you'd think they could've figured out how to cook chicken in an oil that they use for everything else. Perhaps if they'd communicated better about my intolerance instead of not thinking about it until immediately when my food was ready (which was quite a while after we ordered), they could've found someone in the restaurant who was capable of making non-vegetarian food with something other than soy spray, but I may be giving them too much credit. They also didn't offer us a high chair for our toddler, which was strange. He wound up doing fine in the booth, which was for the best because a high chair probably wouldn't have fit well where we were sitting anyway. The waitress was apologetic and nice about my food screw up and offered to make me something else, but there wasn't much that could be done given that apparently no one in the restaurant knows how to cook meat without soy spray, plus we'd already waited quite a while for our food. The beet salad was tasty, as was the bread with honey butter and the Chai latte, but I would've left feeling more full if I could've added meat to my salad.

Lindsay did this by being a phenomenal listener/communicator, while adding all her tricks of the trade (and natural creative talents) to our project. And I say "our" project because bringing my website to life felt like a true collaborative effort as we talked through the vision (I have for my business), together. Yet when it was time for me to ease up on the reins and let Lindsay work her magic, it was easy to do so because I felt heard and understood, AND I was SO impressed by her work ethic and knowledge of all things technical, that it made it easy for me to walk away and leave her to get it done... Which she did, in an incredibly timely and effective way. I've had so many people say to me, "Who did your website?! It is SO beautiful and it's laid out SO WELL!" And I tell them what I'm about to tell you: If you need a website that clearly reflects the intent of your business, and you want it done well AND affordably, get in touch with Lindsay today! You will be soooo glad you did. P.S. When tech issues arose (which, in the real world, they always do!) Lindsay knowledgeably and quickly (as I was on a very short timeline!) offered various solutions and possibilities to try, which in the end, all worked out! I will DEFINITELY be using her services again, next time I need a new sales page! Give her a call!

He and I had…read morebeen here once before they expanded, and I can honestly say that they stepped up their already awesome game. Everyone got something different, so for my part, I tried the caprese bruschetta and their Sunday Sauce pasta. I paired my meal with their Ginger mule mockcktail. The bruschetta was soooo good. The bread was incredibly flavorful and the feta, tomato, and balsamic married perfectly. The bread was also the perfect texture - not too crunchy, not too soft. Fresh cheese and cherry tomatoes provided the most delicious topping! My pasta was also really good. Their meat sauce was so savory and delicious, and the noodles (flat, wide - I forget the name!) were cooked to perfection. I'm glad I also got a side of toast - it was a slight upcharge ($1.50) but worth it for the quality. My Ginger mule was kind of meh, unfortunately. I think I was expecting it to be sweeter, and it was pretty bitter. The service was beyond outstanding. Our server was attentive, answered questions, and made sure our water glasses were never empty. Huge props to him. After our meal, the owner even came over and checked in. Very nice guy. They even gave my boyfriend a slice of cheesecake for his birthday for free. The noise level wasn't awful, either, and that was very appreciated as a Deafie. I was able to see everyone at the table (we were in a rounded booth) and the ambient noise wasn't distracting at all. Awesome experience, better food, phenomenal service.

It's like walking into a throw back time & also like your grandma's house. Dim lighting & cool light fixtures. It's super relaxing & chill. Our server came over right away. She was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. She provided great service. Hubby got a Day Drinker draft beer & I got red sangria. Both of which were good. We ordered the bread to share. Hubby got the reuben & steamed spinach. I got the royale with cheese. The bread is really good. It's thick & soft. You get several pieces. Hubby loved the Reuben & the 1000 island dressing. He also liked the spinach. I liked my royale as well. The pastries are large & filled with ingredients. I couldn't even eat all of a half. The ranch dressing was really good too. We had our other halves of our pastries for lunch today. We warmed them in the oven & they were great. Great service, drinks & food!

The potato, leek, stilton soup was absolutely fantastic. I don't like blue cheese, but it doesn't taste like it at all. It's just a perfect, creamy, thick, cheesy potato onion soup with super fluffy and thick cuts of bread. The pasties are huge and can easily please two people. The Guinness Steak Stew was ok, it didn't have as deep of a flavor as I was hoping it would. My brother got the Mexican style one though and it tasted like a perfect chimichanga. The sausage was plenty and very tasty, though I'm not a big fan of the sage. Potatoes were good too, but I think under seasoned. Didn't taste the garlic at all really. I will be back for the vibes, and I would like to try more for their pasties (there's like 40 to choose from).
