We just bought a custom trailer for almost $25,000 and it all seemed good. However, when we went to load it, the wood on the floor and ramps gave way and was very weak, poor quality (even though we specified and paid for upgraded strenght on the floors/doors). We contacted them a couple of days ago and they have been avoiding us and now they say they can't help us and are closing down the business so our warranties are useless and they won't repair or replace the subpar materials they installed. Stay away from these guys, they are poor communicators and will waste your time. I found them on craigslist and communicated by phone and email with Jessica, the owners wife. After a lot of back-and-forth getting a quote I brought the trailer to them at the agreed-upon time on Saturday morning. I missed an important family event to get up early and bring my trailer all the way from Long Beach but when I got there they told me they could not let me leave it there because it would take two weeks to get the axles. I was so angry with them for wasting my time that I decided not to do business with them. Jesse, the owner was not apologetic. He said they were busy and told me to take it up with Jessica. If you're looking to get your trailer fixed, or set up or customize a new one..this place is it. This place is by far the best when it comes to the small problems my trailer has given me. I've gotten some servicing on it with two other companies and won't be going back to them. I had a solar panel installed, a new side door, trim and roof vents put on the first time with them...now I had a complete axle replacement. This shop is family owned and operated and this is what I absolutely love to see. They're quick, knowledgeable, polite and very affordable on pricing. This place is great! I requested a quote on Sunday evening and got a response from Jessie on Monday morning. We pinched our 7 way plug on our trailer and needed to replace it. Outstanding Custom Built Trailers at a killer price!

Buyer beware! We purchased 3 New Trend trailers. 14' enclosed with bathroom. Worked great for our meter retrofit project until 2 of the 3 had issues with the tongue breaking off! One of which broke completely off and trailer freewheeled down the road. Luckily no one was injured. Jesse at New Trend told me to find someone local, Sacramento area, to make repairs. Now he does not take or return my calls. He said he uses the same .120 wall material on all his builds which is less than 1/8" thickness. He needs to pay for these repairs and re-evaluate his build process. read more

I purchased a custom enclosed toy hauling, camping trailer from New Trend. The measurements I provided were very specific. I called several local trailer makers & a couple in AZ. No one sounded interested in making my dream trailer until I spoke to Jessica at New Trend. I was immediately impressed with her knowledge and professional. Jessica always called back or emailed when she said she would. As my trailer was being built, I added several features and options. The trailer was completed in a reasonable amount of time.
