I went to Pulidos in Perris with great skepticism as I had been using the one in Moreno Valley (separate owner I found out) but became disappointed with their service over a four year span. Pulidos has the best deal on a fully synthetic oil change. I'm not going to debate conventional vs Synthetic oil because I have my preference. I waited about 16-20 minutes for my vehicle to go in. George was very professional and NOT pushy at all. He let me know that my air filter was filthy and showed me the one in my vehicle. He also showed me an issue with my axle, checked my brake pads at my request, recommended a cabin filter, and told me about the nails stuck in my tire. He gave me a quote for the suggested work. I did what I could and he made sure to tell me the danger of what could happen if I don't fix the issue, but not push me to get the work done. I had my three kids with me. George answered their questions and was friendly. They wanted to empty his candy jar and use multiple cups for water and he never batted an eyelash. As long as I receive the same quality of services and they don't up the prices like crazy, I'll go back. read more

This place is wayyy overpriced! ZERO STARS!!! I paid $135 for a diagnostics and was told that the reason my car was overheating was because of the thermostat, so they quoted me $678 which included replacement of thermostat, flush and $365 for labor. I wanted a second opinion and found this other auto repair shop nearby and after they ran the test on my car they also said the problem had to do with the thermostat and the temperature sensor. They charged me $375 including $180 in labor, replacing the thermostat, flush and PLUS replacing the temperature sensor. So I ended up paying the other shop half less than Pulido's. I'm glad I went somewhere else. I will never step foot here EVER AGAIN these people rip you off! read more

I have been to most of the shops in the Perris/Moreno Valley area. I've lived in this area for many years, and I believe Pulido's is the best shop I have been to. The work they have done on my car has always been great. No offense, but I roll my eyes at people complaining that they are a little bit more expensive. A lot of these ghetto shops around here get second hand parts. Of COURSE they're going to have cheaper prices. You get what you pay for. I learned that the hard way. I had my clutch replaced somewhere nearby (I will not say who because they are hard working guys and I don't want to trash them) but they did a TERRIBLE JOB. I ended up having to bring it to Pulido's to fix. Bam. My clutch was like butter AND their services came with a warranty, so if I had issues they would fix it no questions asked. That's what you are paying for. I had some more work done recently and these guys have gone out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with their service. As far as people being surprised with big payments....look. We have to maintain our cars. It is our responsibility as car owners to keep up said car. If you're the type that never takes their car in for a check up unless it's practically on fire, that's your fault. These car shops can't reverse the damage that we let happen to our vehicles. I have learned this the hard way as well. Stay ahead of the problems. I wrote this essay just to pretty much say these guys are awesome. Called them ahead about a custom alignment for my car, they said it'd be fine and would garage me 90$. Trailered my car over there, they told me to take it off the trailer, after I had taken the car off the trailer another worker told me he could not do my custom alignment anymore and that if I did want it custom it would be 350$. I put my car back on the trailer and left home. Waste of time and disrespectful. There are better places for alignment that will treat a customer better and keep their word. read more

Oh my God what a good place. Our Nissan Pathfinder broke down in 115 degree heat in Perris last week. George and his guys ran computer check and found codes that indicated sensors problems. OK so we're totally stranded miles from home. It would have been SO easy to take us for a big expensive unnecessary repair. But they didn't do that. Problem was simple. My wife bought her Mazda Miata a couple years ago. Some time back I noticed we didn't have a key for the wheel locks. I put that with the "honey do" things. Well, last Thursday before she went to work I noticed she had a flat. Not just a flat but the tire had gotten so old it split apart on the inside of the sidewall. It still had tread, enough to pass the "penny test" but then I noticed how bad they all were. I went to a local auto parts store & bought the "emergency wheel lock sockets. They were both too big. Then went to the national auto parts store & bought their set for $48 & change. It removed the one on the flat tire but split open on the second one. They were kind enough to refund my money but recommended Pulidos. And so I went there & was quoted $30.00 to remove the remaining 3 locks, which they promptly did. I was impressed so I asked for a quote on tires. Jorge quoted me a price around $50 dollars less than what I had found on the internet. Same size & all so I ordered them, being told they should be in around 12:45 the following day. I was called at 12:45, the tires were in. Before the afternoon was out I was driving "the ball & chains" car back home, knowing she would be safe & knowing now where the wheel lock key is. I've been in the auto body repair side of the business over 50 years. I know service, both good & bad when I see it. I'm so mad. We brought over my truck. They said they changed the (8 spark plugs) !!! They charged us $550 but my truck wasn't running right so we took it back and they said we needed intake. When no need to do that They charged me $130 more!. That didn't fix my issue.. We took the truck with a certified Ford mechanic and he took out the parts that pulidos had changed (supposedly). They were old and had not been changed in over 2 yrs!!! Only 1 was changed! But we got charged for all of them . So basically this guys didn't even do the work they said they did and charged us. Took my Honda Civic in about a month or so ago to get the tires changed with ones I supplied and get an alignment. I had just completely replaced the suspension and steering rack. Everyone there was really cool and friendly. They didn't take long to pull my car in and start working on it. A couple minutes later they asked for the wheel lock key and after not being able to find it, they found a kit with the correct key and changed the tires. After adjusting the alignment they were very friendly at bringing me back and showing me things that they noticed that needed to be corrected and giving me some suggestions for correcting the camber and castor on my front wheels. They charged a good price for everything too, without requiring a coupon how a lot of shops I have dealt with in the past do. I definitely recommend them. read more

Don't spend your money here. Expensive and if you do get work done, ask if there are any charges for if work can't be done for whatever reason. Went for an alignment, because I replaced upper control arms , tie rods, lower ball joints. Alignment was $85 , but George (owner) price matched to another shop at $70. Apparently, alignment was not able to get done because something about tie rods weren't able to finish. They only put it on rack and they charged me $35 for inspection fee. I would have no problem paying if they told me ahead of time for inspection fee. I'm not expecting free work, but $35 for less than 10 min Not cool. read more

Not a happy customer... Took my van in today to have the brakes replaced as they were still under the shop's warranty. It was very obvious that the brakes were bad and needed replacement. The shop ended up 'completing' an inspection on my vehicle even though I did not ask for it. I emphasize on the word 'completing' because there were items notated on the report which said we're in need of work. If the shop had truly completed an inspection, they would have noticed something as simple as the air filter being newer and instead was noted by them that needed replacement. When we asked the employee, he admitted that that was not something that was checked. So this makes me wonder....was an inspection I got charged for truly completed??? This is not the way of earning honest business. Will never go back again. UPDATE: Jorge, in response to your response, your brother verbally told me that there would be no fees at all since the brakes were under warranty. All I'm asking is for you to honor your word or your brother's word for that matter. I wish I would've dealt with you from beginning and avoided the miscommunication. Yes, I realize that the fee is minimal. But it's the principle of it that matters here most. Also, thanks for publicly posting all my vehicle information.
