I was asked to leave a review. My first time trying this place. I got a chicken cheesesteak with provolone, mayo, and fried onions. It was okay, not the best. Something I definitely could of made at home. Didn't really leave a memorable taste. The grilled salmon ceaser salad had too much grated Pramesean Cheese and I couldn't really enjoy it. The Salmon tasted good though. The guy at the counter is nice too. Wish I could say I'll be coming back. Maybe I'll try their pizza one day. read more

Interesting....apparently there is a thing called "Ghost Kitchens". They run several "pizza" places out of this location- one being the Bull's Kitchen"-Delivery Only. I guess this is a way to scam over on taxes or something- they have different menus but all the same kitchen. I thought the "Bull's Kitchen" was good at first but it's delivery only- I tried to order from inside New Venice but was told I could meet them at the corner for the pizza. Anyway, I thought the food at the Bulls was cheap- then when I ordered they charge you a $2.00 convenience charge and delivery charge for $2.00, so now you just added $4 bucks to your total. Anyway I'd like to see how the pie from Venice is any different than the pie from "Bulls' Kitchen". read more

I ordered from this place because of a few recommendations from locals and friends. Well let me save you a bunch of time and money. Don't bother -- this is a hole-in-the-wall and will continue to be until they go out of business. Now maybe New Venice does something different in E.P. from the rest of the world; but their take on margherita pizza is way, way off. I have ordered from here twice and there always seems to be some confusion as to getting the order correct. (After the first screw up - I spoke with the manager and was told I would receive a credit for a large pie because they admittedly screwed up). Plus, I was hungry so I agreed to pay and take what they had made (white margherita and not the red which I had ordered). So fast forward a few weeks -- my wife and I thought ok let's try again to order the red margherita again and use the credit. Maybe they will get it correct this time. I call in the order and the same shenanigans ensues once more. (For the record -- the people answering the phone could lose the blasé attitude -- you get what you pay for though it seems). I go back and forth to make sure the order was taken correctly. I explain what happened last time and that I have a credit for a large pie. I hang up. One minute later I get a call back from the owner lecturing me on how to order a margherita correctly (guy -- this isn't my first rodeo thanks chief). I go to pick up the pizza and get charged the full amount (no credit was issued) and the pie was lukewarm at best. Fun sidebar: everyone in the kitchen wearing covid masks and correctly -- not here folks. The bottom line is this place does not care whether or not they earn your business. There are enough locals who will keep supporting them because they don't know any better. If you want great pizza go up to The Pizza Box in Glenside or Glenside Pizza in Keswick Village. The food is much better and they at least humor me by pretending to care about patronizing their establishments. read more

I had read really great reviews so I tried this place for delivery. I only ordered one large pizza, so my experience is limited. The pizza arrived on time. The margarita pizza was not a true margarita, but rather a bland white with tasteless tomatoes. The crust was nice enough, but too soft for my liking. Not sure if I'll try it again. read more

Wow what happened to the previous owners? Not only did the price go up but the food had hair and it was completely disgusting. I love getting the slice of pizza with the greek salad. Their salads are boss here. So fresh, huge, and with tons of different crisp veggies and onions, olives, sardines if you want, feta cheese...I I love their fresh bread that comes with everything, and the pizza sauce. We're new to the neighborhood, and tried this place because of the positive reviews. We ordered one plain and one white pizza with broccoli. The staff members were very friendly, and hearing that we had just moved to the neighborhood, were very welcoming (even let me choose a bottle from the refrigerated case, on the house). I thought the pizza was delicious, with a generous topping of broccoli. My son loved his plain pizza. We'll definitely order from again. read more

I've only had delivery here once, so I'd be happy to revisit my rating later on. Maybe my expectations were high seeing four and a half stars and so many reviews. The pizza here was 100% average. In my mind even a step less--the sauce-to-cheese ratio wasn't my ideal and the crust was a little too thick. But overall it was completely fine. They took a little less than the 45 minutes they said they'd need to deliver it, which was nice, and the guy on the phone was very courteous. The go-to Pizza around here. It doesn't look like much, but pizza is great (especially the white pizza!), chicken cheese steaks, onion rings (+++!!!). The owners are super friendly and funny. I prefer to take out rather than wait for delivery, but there is free parking in the back, so that works too. Lucky to live nearby. read more

I often hesitate in ordering a cheesesteak from a new place, as often its all roll and little meat. But reviews of New Venice swayed me. I was excited to open my cheesesteak and find a stuffed roll full of meat and toppings! I splurged and got a side order of cheese fries, which were great.
