My family has been ordering from this neighborhood takeout spot since it first opened in the late 90's. This is one of my favorite places but it's definitely not for everyone. They are far from perfect. There have been times when a delivery took much longer than it should've despite living less than 5 minutes away. Not too long ago they messed up an order where we got the wrong fries but ended up with 2 sandwiches we didn't order (I considered that a win for us haha). Their food is greasier even by junk food standards. But my family has sampled enough of their menu at this point to recommend and not recommend many of their dishes. So I'm going to walk you through the dishes I love and the ones you should steer clear of. Their pizzas are pretty greasy which I like but I understand not everyone's cup of tea. I love that their pizzas are very generous with their toppings. The same can be said of their Stromboli's. That works against them when ordering a veggie pie unfortunately. Their veggie pie is so loaded with toppings that the slice can't even support the weight. It's a good pizza to eat cold the next day where it WILL hold it's weight and shape however! I DO recommend these pizzas though: BBQ chicken, buffalo chicken, sausage, mushroom, Hawaiian. I love their beef cheesesteaks. They are big, hearty, and greasy, just the way I like it. The roll is stuffed with meat to the point it's practically bulging. I like getting it with ketchup, mayonnaise, and fried onions. I've also gotten it with "the works" which also includes mustard, peppers, and pickle which I'd also good too. Getting a cheesesteak hoagie is also good, it's just a cheesesteak but with lettuce and tomato. It works. Do NOT get their chicken cheesesteaks! They're not very good. Steer clear of their pizza fries, mozzarella fries. They are dry, the cheese is often brittle and hard, and both are mostly flavorless. DO get their regular fries, cheese fries (regular cheese), Curley fries, onion rings. All these are great sides. Their wings can be a little hit or miss. The flavors and sauces are always on point. They have them in buffalo, suicide (really hot), and BBQ. No complaints about any of them. But there have been times the wings have been over cooked and very light on meat. Their salads are passable. They're not bad but they're not good either. But you're also not coming here to eat healthy anyway. Pasta dishes. We've tried mani cotti, sphagetti and meatballs. Both were OK. Their hoagies are pretty decent. Like with their cheesesteaks, they are stuffed to the brim with meat and veggies. I think their hoagies are all good across the board. My favorites are the Italian, ham and cheese, and cheese burger hoagies (this one ESPECIALLY is very good!). Speaking of their burgers, they're good but nothing special. Have had cheeseburgers, bacon burgers, and pizza burgers. All meet the grade. Their sandwiches and especially their club sandwich platters (which comes with fries and coke slaw) are all good and great value. Which brings me to my next point: If there's one good thing about this place nobody can debate: their value is AMAZING. There are so many combos and platters throughout their menu. Like mentioned before the club sandwich platters, cheesesteak platter, daily specials, and best of all: Family Specials. There are two, my family typically goes for the one with: 1 XL Pizza, 2 Cheesesteaks (or 2 Hoagies), French fries, onion rings, and a 2 liter soda. Over the years, we have seen the price increase due to inflation. Last I checked, the going rate for this special was $30. Which is STILL amazing. Their other family special isn't a slouch either: 1 Large Pizza, 1 Stromboli, 24 buffalo wings, and a 2 liter soda for $35. Not bad! These specials will feed your group good and at a bargain! In closing, I would recommend ordering from here. Not everything on their menu is a winner but hopefully my review will guide you to getting a good meal from here. It's definitely a good bang for your buck more times than not. But not for people who dislike extra greasy food and who can't roll with some mistakes/long delivery times (the delivery times issue is very rare I'll add). This place can be rough around the edges, but there's a reason they've thrived here since the 90's. read more

The pizza was disgustingly salty--completely inedible!! I ordered a large plain pizza and it had NO SAUCE!! Just greasy cheese! My family couldn't stomach more than a single slice each. This place gets 0000000 stars. Called to place an order for pickup. 1. Person taking the order is short with me and is rushing. From the 1st item I ordered, she said every time " is that it" even after I said i have a few things to order. 2 . I ask her to repeat the order back to me, she missed a shrimp platter and I asked for chicken cheese steak wraps and she states they don't make that. I state " so you make chicken cheese steaks and you make cheese steak wraps but not chicken cheese steak wraps. She says " no. We don't sell that." I say ok, you can give me the cheese steak wraps. Then I ask..." and do you have the shrimp platter on the list she says yes. 3. Son goes to pickup the order...they can't find the order. They had put it out for delivery. Luckily it was just getting put in the car. Son looks at the receipt, and notices they missed the shrimp platter. Son orders the shrimp platter and waits for it. 4. Son brings food home... The is so much grease oozing out of the bag (from a cheesesteak in a tin we ordered without bread due to wheat allergy) that there is now a big Ole grease stain in my sons car. 5. They still managed to miss an order of fries with the order. Which they did charge me for. 6. Lastly, The wraps were so poorly wrapped that as soon as I took the foil/paper wrapper off it opened up and fell apart. I couldn't even eat it as a wrap. I basically dumped it on a plate and are it like a salad. Oh and there was no cheese on my cheese steak wrap. I order a white pizza with chicken. Around 11:30 pm now they close at 12 am so that was the first mistake. First of all I though it was going to be grill chicken but it was chicken chunks. Now if it was it was boneless chicken chunks that would have been fine. But no one wants to pay $31 and be bitting into bones on a chicken pizza. Crust was flat. This is the 2nd Italian hoagie that I got from here. The 1st hoagie I returned after expressing my disappointment for the lack of meat (3 pieces).
