    Fried Breaded Whole Wings
    Summer B.

Always nice to find a place that sells WHOLE chicken wings and not just wing dings/wing fragments. And these whole wings are well seasoned as is to me. I wish the wings were a little bigger but they are still pretty good and fill you up. One small thing on the take out containers..they are styrofoam so if the good is too hot the container can melt so I wish they lined the inside with aluminum foil or placed the wings in an earth recycled takeout box. Very good customer service. I placed an order for delivery and I appreciated a call from the store just to be clear about the optional sauce vs dry seasoning. I selected lemon pepper and the store wanted me to know that it was a dry rub and not a sauce as some people have been confused about that selection. Fast delivery and pretty good for takeout. This was my first time ordering and I will definitely order again and try other items that I've heard pretty good things about.

Muchy's is located on Township line road in Elkins Park. They have their own parking lot which makes it easy if you drive. The staff is always friendly and helpful with helping you with your order. They will even bring your food to your car if you don't want to wait inside. Muchy's is not a sit down and eat restaurant. Just order and go. Now, for the food! I can honestly say, I haven't tried a lot of things on the menu, but the hoagies were pretty good. The fish hoagie, tuna, and the Italian. All of them were delicious, fresh bread and fresh ingredients. I would highly recommend. But their buffalo wings are a hard no! They have a few flavors to choose from and I got a order of Mango Habanero wings. It tastes like they just cooked the wings (plain with no sauce or seasoning) and then put the kind of sauce you wanted on top. The wings are small, bland and could be cooked a little longer. The sauce had not penatrated the meat :( I had to put them in a sauce pan and let them cook a while longer. Doing that and adding some seasoning helped. So why bother! Muchy's makes a large variety of foods like pizzas, ribs, salads, Quesadillas, wrap etc. They also do party trays which I feel are pretty good. I would recommend them for the hoagies, but not much more. One last thing....I ordered a meatball grinder for my daughter and took a bite because it looked really good. For some reason, she liked it, but I thought it was horrible. I couldn't identify what kind of meat that was! Another hard no for me!

One for clean space, one for funny sign, one for service, one for dough. Pizza was okay, dough was good. I think toppings needed more baking time, does everyplace puts canned mushrooms? Cuz these felt like canned, well at least those were mushrooms. Also, it (toppings) was all falling out off pizza,Would I return? Maybe.

Got a turkey hoagie from here and it was pretty good. I'll be back to try their other stuff at some point. I will say the tomato slices were a little thick though.

    SICKENING SAUCE

I ordered honey barbecue wings. Apparently the manager did not like what I reported. Here is what they sent back . Innovated and SWIMMING IN SAUCE. My CHILD FOUND A STAPLE. They will see me and my child in court. I plan to report them to L and I. I'm sure there are cameras and believe me I will get to the bottoms of who tried to hurt my Family and why someone though this innovation of sauce was necessary. They are always rude and if u don't ask for plates they don't send. My last meal EVER

I live an hour away from Verona so when I heard this place was only a 15 min drive away from our hike, I knew I had to stop by. The well known Verona's did not disappoint. Unique to this pizzeria, the pizzas AND cheesesteaks are award winning. The wife and I ordered one of each. When we pulled up, this place was packed for 12PM. It hustlin and busslin! I ordered at the desk and waited maybe 25 mins (not bad at all for ordering in the spot and with the place being busy). Pizza: we ordered the "Hot Honey" at $27. We attacked this thing within 2 minutes of coming out the oven. Incredible dough with depth and texture. Perfect balance of sweet (sauce/honey) and savory (pepperonis/grated parm). Topped with fresh basil and hot honey. I wished there was more hot honey but to each their own. Elite pizza!! I highly recommend Cheesesteak ($18): we ordered it with fried onions and Cooper Sharp. Delicious bread, I'm assuming it's home made and if it's not it's definitely high quality bread. Tender ribeye steak chopped and mixed beautifully with the cheese and onions. Meaty sandwich for sure. I prefer my cheesesteaks a bit more cheesier but I was a happy camper as was my wife. All in all, this joint is pumping out top tier "pizzeria food". This will be my post hike reward anytime I'm in the area. Dare I say Verona's goes toe to toe with Angelo's Pizzeria (highly regarded pizzeria) as best in the state! 5/5

There wasn't a printed menu inside, so we were directed to view it online. We ordered the square white pizza because we were told it was thinner than the round pizza. We added chicken and sausage, and the total came to about $20. The pizza was okay, but it wasn't my favorite. I would have liked more sauce, and I found the chicken to be a little dry. The sausage had much better flavor. The crust was not crispy like I prefer. The restaurant itself is very spacious, with plenty of seating if you want to dine in. I also liked the old-style bench near the front where customers can sit while waiting for their order. Parking is probably the biggest challenge. There isn't a dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to find street parking, which is limited. Many of the nearby spaces seem to be occupied by neighboring businesses. One thing I did observe that concerned me was food handling. I saw a few employees using their cell phones in the kitchen area. After using their phones, they appeared to go back to handling food without first washing their hands or putting on fresh gloves. The employee who prepared my pizza was not one of the people I observed doing this, so I felt okay about my order. However, cell phones can carry a lot of germs, and proper handwashing before handling food is an important food safety practice. I hope management reminds employees to wash their hands and change gloves after using their phones. Overall, the service was fine, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the pizza for the price. I'm not sure if I'll return, but I appreciate the convenient location and hope they'll continue to focus on food safety and consistency.

I called for a reservation on Sat. afternoon for that evening. Was told to come at 5:30pm (!) because they were going to be crowded later. No additional customers came to be seated outside. A handful of customers arrived for dinner after 6pm. When we asked why we were told to arrive so early, the manager said that the kitchen gets crowded, so they have to limit the number of customers to not "overwhelm" the chef. But at 5:55pm, there were only 3 couples inside and we were outside. We think that it may have been a simple mistake, but we will never know. The second problem is that for the last two Saturdays there, they have been hosting a daycare center (?) with several kids running around pretending to water the plants, playing with the hose, etc. for over 1 1/2 hrs. The outdoor dining area was soaked. Not optimal for a Saturday evening dining with a fine wine. Also, the outdoor music speaker was broken for at least 2 weeks. No music to enjoy. Just the screaming kids. Lastly, our check listed prices that were higher than those on the menu. Normally, we would not have even paid attention. But we were so unhappy already, we asked for a menu. Perhaps we were mistaken? No. We were told that they are raising their prices, but the new menus were not yet printed. We suggested that, to avoid further confusion, they simply charge the prices that were listed on the menu. And this is where the worst insult came in for us. The manager said that if we were worried about a few dollars, then we were......(cheapskates was implied, not spoken). We didn't argue. We wished them well. For several years we have enjoyed La Piovra and before that the Trattoria Sicilian. The food is decent to very good, and the atmosphere had a relaxing, European feel. It has now turned into an active daycare on a Saturday night with an insulting, fundamentally dishonest manager. And an honest apology would have sufficed.

Hype chasing works against places more often than not. That said I'd come here again. It's a pretty small place. Casual. Nothing too fancy. Tables are pretty close together. Our order started off with honey drizzled whipped ricotta on crostini. This was my favorite thing we had. I would order this every single time. Very tasty. Truffle fries were good, the right amount of truffle flavor. We split a chicken parm sandwich and a cheese steak. Both very good. Sauce on the parm has a sweet zing. The cheese steak was done in the modern style with the cooper sharp mixed in like a chopped cheese on a seeded roll. I find cheese steaks are either a 5 or a 7. Rarely do they stray outside the curve. This was most definitely on the 7 side. But the hype is a little over blown. What I wish we did was order a pizza. Every pie I saw looked fantastic.

It was superior to the parmigiana dinner platter, whose chicken was a bit dry due to being so thinly malleted and uncovered from lack of a fuller spoonful or two of red gravy. The Rigatoni was also in limited supply on the plate, but did hold the vodka blush well, which was pretty good. Service was exceptional, as our waitress engaged us warmly from welcome to final salutation. She was attentive and clearly took our satisfaction to heart. I love the vibes, I love the appearance. The food is amazing top to bottom. First, their coffee drinks are always spot hitting, partly due to the fact that they roast their own coffee beans on site. The cocktail menu is always enticing an even though I'm not a huge drinker, I'll be working my way around this. The breakfast options are plenty and if you don't get their bacon you are missing out! The lunch sandwiches are served on a house made ciabatta style bread. Packed with fresh meats, cheeses and veggies. Every ingredient is perfectly seasoned and added delicately, not just items slapped on a roll. The Detroit pizza is what initially drew me in. While they have some options with more toppings, I'd say go for some of the more simple Detroit pies to really allow the famous crust to really shine through. My personal favorite so far is the white pie they do with roasted portobello mushrooms. I have only been for breakfast and lunch but with all the craft beer options I need to go back for dinner to sit and relax with some friends and family!
