Wasn't thrilled with the idea of getting a quesadilla from a pizza place, but I decided to go with the flow and hope for the best. To my surprise, the veggie quesadilla from Munchy's was super flavorful! It had just enough veggies AND cheese, which is a rarity unless you ask for cheese. It was reasonably priced, came with fries, sour cream, napkins and utensils. Decided to try a local spot that's been around for a while now. Ordered for pick up. Food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. I got the appetizer sampler which comes with a good amount of food for its price. The breaded mushrooms, broccoli bites, mozzarella sticks, and tacos were all good, wasn't a fan of the onion rings. The Calabrese pizza is now a favorite of mine. Less greasy than normal pizza. Not many places offer ricotta on pizza. Over all pretty good. I have had many Cheese Steaks and Pizzas in my life, but Munchy's is by far the best I have found in the Philadelphia area. Their Beef is high quality and ingredients are always fresh. Awesome Fish and Chips! My Wife is a vegetarian and raves about their Pizza Eggrolls and Jumbo Onion Rings which I also like. Always nice to find a place that sells WHOLE chicken wings and not just wing dings/wing fragments. And these whole wings are well seasoned as is to me. I wish the wings were a little bigger but they are still pretty good and fill you up. One small thing on the take out containers..they are styrofoam so if the good is too hot the container can melt so I wish they lined the inside with aluminum foil or placed the wings in an earth recycled takeout box. Very good customer service. I placed an order for delivery and I appreciated a call from the store just to be clear about the optional sauce vs dry seasoning. I selected lemon pepper and the store wanted me to know that it was a dry rub and not a sauce as some people have been confused about that selection. Fast delivery and pretty good for takeout. Muchy's is located on Township line road in Elkins Park. They have their own parking lot which makes it easy if you drive. The staff is always friendly and helpful with helping you with your order. They will even bring your food to your car if you don't want to wait inside. Muchy's is not a sit down and eat restaurant. Just order and go. Now, for the food! I can honestly say, I haven't tried a lot of things on the menu, but the hoagies were pretty good. The fish hoagie, tuna, and the Italian. All of them were delicious, fresh bread and fresh ingredients. I would highly recommend. But their buffalo wings are a hard no! They have a few flavors to choose from and I got a order of Mango Habanero wings. It tastes like they just cooked the wings (plain with no sauce or seasoning) and then put the kind of sauce you wanted on top. The wings are small, bland and could be cooked a little longer. The sauce had not penatrated the meat :( I had to put them in a sauce pan and let them cook a while longer. Doing that and adding some seasoning helped. So why bother! Muchy's makes a large variety of foods like pizzas, ribs, salads, Quesadillas, wrap etc. They also do party trays which I feel are pretty good. I would recommend them for the hoagies, but not much more. One last thing....I ordered a meatball grinder for my daughter and took a bite because it looked really good. Wish I read the reviews before stopping here to grab food for myself, my daughter and 2 nieces. The food was just blah, like the prices were good, but you get what you pay for, I got the large pizza and 2 liter soda for 10.99 which is a sweet deal.... or so you think until you actually bite into the pizza which looks like a small rather than a large. The crust was chewy and had no flavor. I also ordered a cheese steak for my daughter since she loves them, but she was disgusted cause it tasted horrible and didnt really taste like real steak. As far as the customer service, we didnt even get acknowledged for like five minutes after we entered the restaurant and the staff were rude as hell. At first we didn't know who we wanted to order from, then we found a menu from Munchy's that had been left in the front door. Good choice. Everything that we have tried has been good. Sorry no pictures at this time. We ate the food before I decided to give a review. If we should order from them again I'll try to remember to take a picture of our food. I have always seen this place driving by, or when I visit Sprinkles next door, and decided to check it out. My husband and I ordered online (which is super convenient!!) We ordered a small Eagles Rancher pizza, a small BBQ Chicken pizza, an order of fries with cheese whiz on the side, and 2 cookies and cream milkshakes. The food said it would arrive by 7:26 PM, but it came 20 minutes earlier which was excellent! The driver was very friendly and polite. As for the food, everything was correct and was delicious! The crust is a perfect consistency, it wasn't chewy or hard. The pizza was super delicious and filling, I could only eat 2 of my small slices and a handful of fries. The fries have an excellent crispiness to them. The cheese whiz was just slightly thicker than I would want it, but still delicious! The milkshakes were also a great consistency, they weren't melty when we received them. Overall, this is a thumbs up in my book!! read more

Munchy's pizza falls about right in the middle of the pack as far as pizza is concerned. They're light years ahead of Luigi's down the road, but that's not saying a whole lot. Their pizzas run small and don't reheat well, but when you get a fresh pie it's decent. It's not overly greasy, it has a decent amount of cheese, and the crust is okay. That window came and went even with Grub Hub intervening with a phone call twice and to be hung up on second time asking about the whereabouts which they lied and said within a few minutes. Recent quality has changed. I ordered chicken Parmesan baked ziti. Munchy's usually serves as a breaded chicken cutlet patty on top of the ziti with tomato sauce & cheese topping. Quite tasty. The nonsense that was served when I ordered a week later was a watery mess of ziti & sauce with CHUNKS OF UNBREADED CHICKEN MEAT tossed into it. My 14 yr old grandson (who normally eats everything) even questioned what it was... I later found his serving tossed in the trash where I placed the rest of it. Both times garlic bread I ordered was missing. I was gonna physically bring the "mess" back to the store but decided to just leave Munchy's alone for a while and take my business elsewhere. Excellent place for a pick me up fried shrimp. If you are not looking for ice cream next door, this is the place you come to to have some down to earth food. The owners are extremely nice, very very accommodating. I didn't have cash but they understood and allowed me to pay by credit card. They have a set limit of at least $10 for credit card. Staff do not wear masks. Those serving and preparing the food as well as those on the register. When asked about no masks - responses were it's too hot and I have asthma. I've been eating at Munchy's since they opened in Elkins Park, PA. My favorites are: buffalo wings, Gyro-grill chicken. I order almost every week for delivery after work on Fridays.
