Visited Flushing for a conference and stopped by this chinese restaurant, got the shrimp with lobster sauce combo with egg drop soup, pork fried rice, and a piping hot egg roll, all for 11 bucks. It was delicious! so much food for a very reasonable price, and i absolutely loved the shrimp with lobster sauce. it's my comfort food. When we first move to floral park we tried all the Chinese restaurants and we always come to new win. After 4 years still going.

There aren't too many good Chinese spots left but this one is pretty slamming. I love it because it's clean and family owned.... When A place is clean I start from 3 stars and work my way up lol! I love how the family works together too. You don't see this often anymore but you'll come in there any given day and you'll see the elders prepping stuff and the younger adults cooking and the younger people working the front. I absolutely love that. They also have this really pretty fountain with 3 Koi fish in it. I find myself watching them wondering what they're thinking or saying to each other while I wait for my food. Anyway moving on..... I have ordered several different things on the menu. Shrimp rolls (I get one every time), shrimp mei fun, chicken wings with shrimp fried rice. Those were all good for a neighborhood Chinese spot. Steer clear of the lo mein though. Not that great. Only thing I want is to have a fortune cookie without asking hahaha because I always forget! You never see fortune cookies anymore so it's always a treat when I can remember to order one! Lol! read more

Best dumplings ever. I made a out pit stop while on Long Island visiting from Nebraska just to have them again after 10 years. So good.

One star is for hot food. Twenty of us ordered lunches. Only 19 arrived. A call was made and he came quickly with the last lunch but didn't bring the soda that was forgotten. He did come back with the coke. I heard good comments about the soup and several people who had ordered here before said how nice the people were. I had the last lunch that was forgotten and I must say it was very hot. But that was it. I had chicken chow mein. The container was about 60% white rice and the rest was a sloppy mess of white vegetables with about 4 thin slices of chicken. It REALLY needed more chicken. I had an egg roll also. It was over cooked. The shell actually had a burnt oil taste. And nothing on the inside was identifiable. It just looked like mush. I love Chinese food. I eat it probably once a week. I often drive to Flushing for more authentic choices. I will never get from here again. read more

Delivery and ordering process fine. Menu prices are on the lower end. However, wonton and hot/sour soups were just okay. Sweet and sour chicken was very heavily batter coated...mini bit of chicken inside. Pan fried noodles w seafood...not much seafood. Food delivery was timely and hot. read more

As far as Chinese food takeout goes, this is some of the best. Real pork fried rice (not yellow rice with a few pieces of pork thrown in), crab Rangoon was all crab - not a flake of crab with a Ron of cream cheese, and sesame chicken was above average. The food we got isn't chicken, if it was you would see strips and taste like chicken but it is very slimy and trash looking. The food is 3-4 stars, typical Chinese take-out, better than a nearby competitor, but you know, owner of New Win?.... it's SERVICE that differentiates one typical joint from another, and when the dude, for no reason, gave me a hard time bringing out the food to my car right out in front of the place when there were no customers, just to lecture me after I'd been there a few days before and both times explained I am disabled, hello dude, that's not excusable. I am not sure why everyone is raving about this restaurant, but I thought the food was pretty terrible. My husband and I had the orange chicken (good flavor but very dry and stale), the fried dumplings (again very dry and rubbery), a chef's special -- pork, chicken, shrimp, crab meat, and vegetables in brown sauce (nothing was cooked properly, the veggies were overcooked and mushy, the meat was really tough and the crab meat was slimy), and the crab Rangoon (nice!). But 36 bucks for one edible dish is a bit over the top and therefore I would definitely not recommend this place. read more

Ordered One fried rice beef, Lo Mein chicken, & 2 order of their chicken wings original seasoning; order was done over the phone for a pick up, completed fairly fast. Am not from the New York area; just visiting and was interested in some Chinese dishes, the fried rice was not too oily, the chicken wings were crisp just to the spot and not like most other Chinese restaurants that make their chicken wings so oily as well. Very satisfied with my order, however wasn't notified about cash only; not a problem but would be helpful if notified prior to a pick up. Other than that minor concern, everything else was good, and very kind people; had to use the tanker, was quite drunk as well; but they had were generous enough to let me use their restroom located all the way in the back. So I decided to visit new win Chinese restaurant on jericho in floral park..it's been awhile...i guess not long enough...there boneless ribs are deep fried & sauced up there ok very sweet. But the egg food young sauce was terrible along with the store bought egg rolls probably a mega bag..sadly the only things I did enjoy was the rice. One of the best takeout places I know. growing up in queens, finding a great Chinese food place is a mission I take to heart. Sure there's a Chinese food place on almost every corner, but to find one whose food warms your soul with the unerring taste of comfort is a gem indeed. We've been coming here for ten years and we order all food "extra spicy". This place is a total Ripoff. I called for the lunch special. Made two orders which comes with pork fried rice and egg roll or soup which are egg drop or hot and sour. So I asked the person who attended the phone how much is the difference in price if I get the egg roll and added a soup. She said it was $1:39. So I asked here how much is it the other way around and she said that it would be the same. I said fine I'll pay the difference. Then I asked her do you have egg in your fried rice and she said no but it is $.50 to add it, so said fine add it in both. Anybody looking at there menu can see that the soup is actual $1:59 and the egg roll is $1:00. So if you order the food with soup and then add the egg roll it should only be a dollar more. Secondly, no other chinese restaurant charges for egg in the food, they only charge for extra egg. And for the grand finally, when the food came, I found two strings of hair. I was just disgusted. So definitely do not suggest any body go to this place. read more
