Total disappointment in this place and the reviews were so good which doesn't make me very happy about how the rest around town may be. I am here and feeding a 98 year old man cold Chinese soup and a cold egg roll that he had to wait over an hour for. Disgraceful Needless to say the restaurant is 2 miles away, not 20. This is my third visit for take-out here and I can finally officially say I Love their food. We just had a lo-mein and bbq boneless ribs cheese wonton and a wonton eggdrops soup. Deliciously fresh hot seasoned awesome NOT greasy. Ive enjoyed every meal here. The people are nice and get your food out in good time i dont like fast because its says a lot about the food. The bonelss ribs are delicious best Ive had in a long time. Juicy and charred perfect. The wontons are meaty and juicy and tender. Its was very busy this friday night and thats is always a good sign. The taste was okay however, SUPER OILY. I ordered the eggplant with garlic sauce and once I pulled it out of the bag, it was all covered in OIL. And even when I had my first bite of it, all I tasted was oil. Very little of the garlic sauce which they should've put more of it...but majority of it was oil. Also, I don't know what was wrong with the eggplant but apparently it made my teeth BLACK....I've never had this issue before and i don't know if it had to do anything with the eggplant or the oil but I made my teeth black. Through the years, I have even walked there during a blizzard and knew they would be available during the pandemic. If you can, leave a tip/-even if it is a small one. We had gotten a small fried rice, small boneless spare ribs, and an order of scallion pancakes for 2 people and it easily could have fed three people. If you are looking for Queens/Brooklyn style Chinese food around Franklin Square, this is the spot as others mentioned. We ordered pork fried rice with chicken wings and vegetables with chicken. The rice and vegetables with chicken tastes better than I remember from takeouts in Queens. The rice had some nice cubes of pork with a slight char to them. The chicken and vegetables had a tasty flavor. The chicken wings however were just mediocre, they were smaller, drier, and are not large and well battered like in the boroughs. I gave this venue 5 stars, because it is the best I tasted around here, and they gave a large portion of their delicious pork fried rice stuffed into the container. This is my spot from now on. I normally don't write reviews, but was dismayed by the lack of reviews for Chinese takeout around here so I figured I would help the next person out. read more

Good Chinese food good prices, BUT you guus need a student menu or student price menu. Even though your prices are good, students don't have the same money as working adults. Your student lunch menu can be smaller portions. It would be a great option now that 7-11 is right next tocthe school. Don't lose out to them. Ask for Student Id's and offer after game deals. I got kind of excited reading the few reviews and decided to give it a chance. I live in Elmont and I usually drive 15 minutes to Franklin Square for Chinese but they've been lacking in flavor lately so I've been on the hunt for a new Chinese take out spot. Well, for one.. I get there and they don't take credit cards - said differently on Yelp (but I guess that's not their fault). So I go to the bank, go back and get my food, come home and they didn't put my lo mein in the bag... so I had them deliver it. We also ordered General Tso's chicken and sesame chicken and it was pretty mediocre. While the flavor was good, the chicken was mainly crunchy breading and not much chicken. The portions are huge, but I'd rather have some actual meat. Pretty disappointing. On a better note, my friend said the lo mein was good. read more

I've been going here for at least 5 years now (probably going on more). I was first introduced to this take-out place by a friend and am glad I was. It's pretty hard to find a good take out place in this area without going off into Queens; all the more reason I like it. Mostly everything I've tried is pretty good: lo mein, chow fun, egg foo young, curry chicken, etc. Of course it's not as great as the food in Chinatown or Flushing, but hey I'm not complaining. read more

They overcharge. A lot. I ordered delivery using their most recent menu and it came out to $75. They charged me $98. I said that's not right. She said their prices went up so I asked for a new menu and receipt. They gave me a menu and the prices were exactly the same. The receipt was done by hand- no rung on a register - and was not legible. I wanted them to show me how they charged $23 more then what I figured and they couldn't do it - just kept saying they charge more money. No kidding. Then they wanted a delivery tip. I told them to take it out of the $23. I don't like being cheated. The food is just ok - the portions are not that generous when you order something with shrimp or chow mein - it was mostly all rice. They don't throw in anything for free like most places do when you order a lot - they will throw in a couple of eggrolls or something like that. So sorry but I can't recommend a place that just makes the prices up as they go along. read more

Tried this place based on Yelp reviews (and lack of any really good Chinese in the area), and I wasn't disappointed. I got a small wonton soup and Singapore noodles, ran me 10 bucks. The dumplings were very flavorful, and the Singapore noodles delicious (too much to eat in one sitting). It's nothing like you'd find in Flushing or Chinatown of course (I like noodle soups meat, greens and spicy oil), but for what it is, it's very good. The people are nice, too. Ive been coming here for over 10 years and i love this place! Maybe because ive been here so many times but its consistent and pretty much your standard chinese takeout. I was very excited about trying out this take out place since it received great reviews here on Yelp. However, I was very disappointed because the pork fried rice was not authentic tasting and the egg rolls were very doughy on the ends. My mom is a wonton soup fan and was disappointed with her soup. The fried shrimp were OK but a bit over cooked. The spare ribs were OK. They were meaty and they were probably the best part of the meal. I will not be going back. Tip saying best Chinese ever was probably when it wasn't busy. Simply put its good Chinese certain times but on about two to three occasions now it's been pretty awful. Garlic sauce was very disgusting and bits of fried rice had burned into black turd. Don't chance your money folks get a better known takeout then this. read more
