Everyone's portions were large with high quality ingredients. I ordered The Wall Street, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the bacon thick and avocado flavorful. Just half a sandwich was more than filling. It came with a side of fries, which were rather forgettable. I would try a different side for next time. Love the diner vibe and decor. Always had a pleasant experience here with the service. Food is all yummy! I've had the Philly cheese steak and also a grilled chicken sandwich. The husband ordered lox and bagel. It looked just ok. Kind of like something I would make at home in a hurry. The fries were ok. The one thing I do have to absolutely say that I liked would be the vibes I got from the walls. Cool. The one thing I do have to absolute say that I totally disliked would be the cleanliness of the dining area. Maybe I should say the griminess of the place. We have always loved the deli, but we ate there for a late lunch the day after Thanksgiving and it was a disaster. We both had a tuna salad sandwich and got e. coli food poisoning, we had severe symptoms for days. It is a week later and I had to see the doctor again because I still have a low grade fever and occasional vomiting. If you do go, DO NOT order tuna or probably chicken salad as well. I used to go there, food was good until I got real sick with stomach pain that sent me to the floor in pain. A few weeks later, Channel 4 reported that they failed a health inspection with rat droppings in soup, which I had eaten. I will never go there again. read more

Great place to cater from and they will deliver. Lots of variety in the sandwiches with a New York flair. Had the Reuben for the sauerkraut and also had a side of potato salad. Amazing food the broccoli and cheese soup was so good! It was so creamy and cheesy only complaint about it is the croutons were super stale. I suggest taking them out before eating. And the Tuna Melt was so good!! Brought my brother and sister in law for the first time today, after I boasted about the service and food. We waited for over an 1 1/2 for a burger, the chicken salad sandwich, and the featured special. We had to go ask a waiter to come to the table to take our order, then had to go ask about our food once we noticed everyone around us that came in either during the time we did or after were eating or leaving because they finished their meal. This Broccoli cheddar soup is great. It has big chunks of soft broccoli, very cheesy and comforting. Usually the broccoli cheddar soups I have tried at other places the broccoli is a bit hard and has a crunch to it. I personally don't like that. So biting into the soft broccoli was great. It's not falling apart and it's just perfect! They do top it off with croutons and extra cheese so I can't ever say no to extra cheese. They gave me three options so I look forward to trying the others when I come back. Great satisfying pick! Posting kind of late. But just wanted to share my experience. New York deli is awesome place to come eat. I always get the special of day. Which is the sandwich of the day with choice of side,drink and a cup of soup.. I think sits about 10.99 or 11.99. I came in the weekend and they had no special. I guess.....
