I'm not happy with the service at all. There are two ladies and the one that did mine was the shorter lady. She did such a messy job, and I had to constantly tell her to clean up spots. I came to this location a few months ago. Prior to this I had never had my eyebrows touched let alone threaded. Suvra was so welcoming and gentle it was hands down the best expierence. Since then I have rountinely been attending this location but will only allow Suvra to thread. She is so clean and precise. I've tried places all over Philly, West Chester and Delaware County and I just recently moved to Montgomery County. The first thing I had to do was locate an eyebrow place as I haven't found one yet after trying almost every place in the surrounding areas. This is such a great place!! My sister and I both come here around once a month to get our brows and upper lips threaded. There are several things the ladies here do very well: 1. Communication-- you can tell them how you like your brows to looks or any preferences, thicker/thinner, arched/straight, etc. Also you can ask them for advice or to take short breaks during the threading session, or to re-adjust an area once you look in the mirror if you'd prefer your eyebrows thinner, for example. 2. In my experience, threading gives your eyebrows a much cleaner line than plucking at home did for me since the hairs are being pulled out along the line that the string travels in. 3. The pain gets a lot more manageable with each visit. My eyes water every time I go but I have sensitive skin. The first time I went, it hurt, but the ladies are really really good about communicating with you, you can ask them to pause for short breaks if you have low pain tolerance. My second time it hurt much less, upper lip threading was very noticeably less painful. 4. Also I wanted to mention that getting threaded here has never made my skin break out, which is great. 5. It's so convenient to stop by the Montgomery Mall and visit this threading salon. The wait is never very long, it varies from zero line to a ten minute wait being my longest. I highly recommend supporting this local business. If you are curious about threading, I would recommend that you give it a try because waxing can be very harsh to your eye area/takes out too much hair, plucking very slow and harder to get that clean look, and bleaching stray hairs not suitable for all skin tones. I used to pluck my eyebrows and wax my upper lip, but its just faster and more convenient for me to get it done here. I used to be scared that i wouldnt be in control of my eyebrow shape if i went to a salon to have them done, but the ladies here are very experienced with all types of face and eyebrow shapes, and they listened to me when i told them my personal preferences. Also they have a punch card where if you get a certain amount of threading done you can get your next eyebrow threading free. I brought my 15 year old here a month ago and LOVED the result. Today, an entirely different story. My daughter has thick, beautiful brows that only need to be cleaned up a little. The woman annihilated her brows! They are way too thin and she had the audacity to cop a MAJOR attitude when my daughter wasn't holding her skin taut enough. Just lost my business.
