I went here for the first time today for eyebrows threading and tinting. I like that they didn't assume i I wanted to keep my current brows shape but asked what I wanted. I actually have slacked and have not been getting my eyebrows done for about a year, so In fact what I wanted was not my natural shape. They did a great job even though my horrible coordination meant that my hands were often in the way instead of helping lol. Wow. Just wow. This was the best eyebrow shaping experience I've had yet in my 13 years of caring about my brows. This was not my first time getting my brows threaded, but it was certainly the best. Thanks to my Yelp family for hooking a girl up! My GPS had me enter the back which was very confusing. I almost gave up and then decided to try the actual address which is on Easton (not Davisville) Road. Thanks Google. My wait was a bit long, and there were 3 people in front of me, but the wait was entirely worth it. The threading process took about 5 minutes. The sweet woman asked me how I would like them, and then performed what I can only describe as a miracle to my weathered brows. They have never looked so amazing. Ever. The shape, the thickness, and all of it for $8.00. Compared to the $15 or so that I typically pay to have them waxed at a nail salon and the slight tinge of disappointment that usually accompanies the mirror reveal. Went for the first time for eyebrow services. I was very clear when I asked her to just cleaned them , didn't need to shape or nothing major. Next thing I know I have no eyebrows. She literally took out all of my eyebrows I barely have any hair. If you like very thin eyebrows then go there cause she's an expert in making sure you have no eyebrows left. I walked in and was out in less than fifteen minutes. I had my eyebrows and upper lip threaded and both look great. The woman who threaded my eyebrows asked me what I wanted, but I didn't really know and she gave me a really nice shape. She also wiped my brows with a cleaning wipe and then aloe later. I was expecting it to hurt more but it was pretty quick and painless. I'll probably come here next time when my brows grow out. They also have a card where every ninth threading is free. read more

DONT GET LASHES HERE! I went to Shinghar Beauty Salon on 11/6/2019. It was the worst experience I have ever had with eyelash extensions. I called a few days before and made and appointment with Dimpy at 5pm for Wednesday. She kept trying to get me to come in earlier I told her the earliest I could get there was 5pm. STRIKE 1. If you're open until 7pm why not allow me to come after work and I've scheduled an appointment. I arrived and told the ladies I had an appointment with Dimpy at 5pm. They said she'll be ready after she finishes the client in front of me that was getting eyebrows tinted. No worries. I'll wait. Meanwhile another lady who I thought was Dimpy asked me to get my eyebrows threaded. I said sure. It was painful and it hurt. Now I've had my eyebrows threaded before and this was shoddy work. I had to ask 4 times for her to fix my very fine haired brows then still had to go home and pluck them. STRIKE 2. Between tinting brows she made a comment to her coworker that she would be doing lashes then approached me and told me I needed to remove my lashes and put on a new set for $150. I asked why and she couldn't give me a good explanation and was actually stammering to answer. STRIKE 3. There was a bed in the front of the building in a large room with a dressing table. I didn't see Dimpy wash her hands as she had been dealing in dye and whatever else she touched. I went to the bathroom and came back and she was ready to go. Finally Dimpy was ready but her phone kept ringing and course she had to answer as she was the only one in the shop at the time. Usually 3 strikes and YOUR OUT, however I proceed to give her a fair chance. She proceeded with the remover and told me not to open my eyes for two to three minutes. That burned like hell and she proceeded to clean the lashes to remove them and that was burning and painful. I asked for full lashes in the shape of open eye. She said "full lashes are full lashes". Oh ok. STRIKE 4. During the process she applied so much glue my eyes burned and during the process kept removing the under eye tape and making me open my eyes while she was applying the lashes causing them to burn even more! While applying she'd lift my eyelids causing more and more burn. She kept insisting my eyes were sensitive and that's what cause my eyes to tear.. hmmm. No I think you opening my eyes during the process and removing and adding more tape caused that.. my eyes burned until right before I left. She kept turning in the fan to dry the glue so it wouldn't burn but it took a while to stop burning. I paid the $158 for the lashes and the eyebrow threading to never return. Let that be a lesson as the business looked very shady. Now here is is the next day I have so much lash glue on my eyes it was difficult to open them and had to apply water which is a big no no the day after lash application. My eyes are irritated. Skin itchy around my eyes and the lashes have so much glue it's difficult for me to close them tightly. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY LOVE FOR YOURSELF GET YOUR LASHES DONE SOMEWHERE ELSE! THE WORST PLACE TO GET EYELASHES DONE. DONT GET HURT BY DIMPY! read more
