She combines and typical deep tissue massage with a focus on problematic areas. It's so good, I can feel it the next day. If you are a stickler for ambiance, it's probably not your spot. The place needs some TLC. But if you can put that aside and appreciate the quality of service, it will be your favorite new spot for a massage. read more

Five stars for the massages hubby and I received! Julie worked on him, Lisa worked on me. I was jealous he got Julie because I'd read the reviews, but Lisa was fantastic! Hubs really liked her. And they're soooo nice! I'm looking for a facial place too that does back facials for men. I figured go have a massage here (awesome), check the place out & hopefully have a regular massage & facial place we can frequent. But I have to defect a star for the fact that the place looks dirty, dingy and disorganized. Needs some fresh paint, organization and some brightening up. Amazing! Julie us such a sweet, gentle lady I had a foot massage and my husband had a full body massage. Make sure to call them first though to make the appointment before you come. So peaceful and serene. It's $45 for 45 mins of foot massage (they only do 45 mins minimum) and $60 for an hour of full body massage. The shop is small and could use some paint. I would also recommend some type of warming pad on the table. I was released after the massage and actually have more energy then I did when I got there. Omg is what I have say first and foremost! This massage was everything, and I must add the best massage I've ever gotten! Julie is the massage therapist; she is amazing, truly one of a kind! I've never had a massage that was so thorough! She first did an assessment of the pain I was experiencing focusing particularly to those area's. She massaged my entire body including my face and toes! I've only had a face massage when I received a facial. The massage was inclusive of hot stone and hot towel! She was very friendly and knowledgeable, even explaining what she was doing! The place was quaint and clean , as well as the linens she used. I just came back from a 90 minute Sports Massage and have to say it's one of the best I've ever had. Please be aware that I'm a "massage connoisseur", and have visited probably close to 100 different places over the last 25 years. This was my third visit and you should feel reassured that my review is legitimate and spot on. As others have stated New You Spa is not a bells and whistles type of place. It is clean and my masseuse was an older woman who found all the sore spots and worked them out. The only complaint I have is that it was short staffed (Sunday) and my masseuse was the only one there. When another customer came in she stopped our timer and dealt with them quickly and professionally. She actually worked on me a few minutes after the timer went off to make up for the inconvenience too. I did ask about the 4 hand massage they offer and, at the time of this review, it's $100 for 1 hour. If the other masseuse is 75% as competent as mine today then this would be a fantastic deal! You're getting 2 massages at the same time so they have a lot more time to work you over. Again - this is a no frills place but they almost always have an opening and they aren't trying to up-sell you, no pressure sales, and they do a fantastic job! A BIG NOTE! If you are experiencing "severe pain" in a part of your body you should not be visiting a masseuse to work it out! You should be visiting a doctor or a specialist. Pain is your body's way of telling you that something is wrong. There's a huge difference between a medical specialist who has gone to school and trained for their degrees and accreditation's for years and a massage therapist who goes to school for 5 months, works a few hundred hours, and gets a state license. This is just common sense but I guess it's not obvious to all. read more

She kept walking away to deal with other customers, even made a phone call, and was answering the phone during my massage. I paid for 90 minutes, probably only got 70-75 (at a dollar a minute, that adds up). Then she had the nerve to ask about a tip. I will never go back there again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. My neck was hurting very bad and I went in for a 2 hour deep tissue massage for $99 and lady ups sold me a jade scrubbing massage claiming that I will be pain free after, and massage was $80 for an hour so I asked for two hours massage. Next thing another lady comes in and I was getting massage from two people. While I was getting massage lady started to talk my ears off in Chinglish claiming that she was nurse in Shanghai and she can fix me up in no time After 45 min. into massage they stopped and told me that it was 1 person + 1 person = 2 hour massage and charged me $160. When handed them $200 they refused to give me my $40 change back because it was labor intensive massage. I demanded my change back from them but they ended up ignoring me and ran back into the back room and told me they were going to call a police. So I walked out of the place with worse pain on my neck with $200 less in my pocket. They were couple of vicious ladies who did not give a damn. My husband had gotten me a gift certificate for Christmas and finally used it today. I was a little surprised upon entering, its not what Im used to in a Spa, its unlike Massage Envy, Phoenix Spa. New You Spa is definitely no frills in my opinion. There is no champagne, wine, water, fruit handed to you when you walk in, no robes, you get naked, yes naked, & get on the table. There's no paperwork & honestly I dont know if they have massage variations, or if they even go by their massage menu at all BUT if you are looking for a good massage, they definitely do the job and for ALOT less money than the corporation Spas. There are no candles for light in the room, so the door had to stay cracked open, which is probably the only thing I really was eh about, & it is definitely not soundproof, you can hear everything going on including ringing phones, conversations, etc, The ambiance could be fixed though, even though the room is really small with just enough room to move around the table, shelves could be put up in the room with aromatherapy candles for some relaxing odors during the entire massage. All of these are easy fixes and the lack of a "professional" & expensive spa is made up by how friendly the women are and I will definitely return! read more

The price is very reasonable and she doesn't charge you extra for things like hot towels or stones. She will listen to what you want and do exactly that. My husband and I found New You Spa and decided we wanted a couple's massage 45 minutes after calling. Julie was extremely nice and was able to meet our request. Upon arrival we sat for maybe a minute before we were greeted and taken back to our rooms. The staff at New You Spa were fantastic and provided an excellent service. My husband and I are highly satisfied with our service. My trouble areas feel a million times better. No bells and whistles but I just had a absolutely wonderful massage, facial and waxing experience.....was greeted by a very pleasant woman shown to a small room and asked to disrobe and lay face down on table....lots of sheets and blankets she even brought in another blanket because she felt the room was chilly....having never had a massage before I just instructed her to "work it all out" since I work 12 hours per day just about 7 days a week in a manufacturing plant lifting....she did a preliminary rub over my back and shoulders (i guess noting where all the large knots where) then she used her hands of steel and started in...for an hour she worked wonders with a combination of hot towels, hot stones, oils found every knot in my back, shoulders, neck and legs and pulverized them! Facial was another one hour experience thoroughly performed...wonderful job on the waxing of eyebrows, lip and chin. I arrive at 9:50am and left at 1pm...feeling absolutely wonderful! I have to say. I have been to some great places and not so great places. New You Spa is in the top tier of great places. Helen was my massage therapist, when I walked in there I was aching bad. I was promptly walked to one of the massage rooms, and she started working on my troubled back. I initially came in for the one hour massage, but my back felt so good with all the kinks worked out I asked if I could stay for an additional hour to get my legs feet and head neck done. The staff is very friendly and down to earth which if you are a regular at some of the high end places that aspect is lacking. All in all, it was a very positive experience and I'm definitely going back. My only criticism is that I wished the rooms were completely closed off. The divider walls to each room have a 2 foot gap from wall to ceiling. I was in a blissful trance and I heard a cell phone go off in another room. If I had my way, I wish the music was in each room instead of just broadcasting throughout the facility. Other than those minor things I can't wait to go back. Been years since I felt this good. Give this place a try, you'll be glad you did. read more
