The Site manager here is amazing! She goes above and beyond for the Park and the staying within.

Some sites are fairly tight, while others had some nice room. The trails here were very enjoyable. Serene surroundings around the river and through the trees. We saw lots of deer, birds, and other critters scrambling about. I'm sure it would've had a slightly different feel during peak season, but we very much enjoyed our night and day of off season.

August 26-29, 2025 - La Pine, OR…read more We've stayed at La Pine Campground a few times over the years, and each visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The campground is divided into three loops, each with its own character. The North Loop offers water and electric hookups, with sites that are more widely spaced than the others--something I really appreciate. That extra room makes it feel quieter and more private, and it's probably where we'll book our next stay. The Middle Loop has full hookups, while the South Loop is the busiest, featuring full hookups as well as some cabins. . There are many hiking/cycling trails (dog-friendly), and the Deschutes River runs through the campground. There is a short hike to a waterfall, and a large dog park. Unfortunately, we were a bit restricted in our outdoor activities because of the smoke from the two fires in the area. There was actually ash falling on one of the days. Also, there had been several sightings of a mountain lion in the area, so that added a bit of caution to our activities. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back.

I have done my research on this park and surrounding area and found it to be a real nice peaceful and serene area to stay, we travel every summer and research every place before making reservations or traveling, it makes for a more pleasant experience, I usually rate the places before & after we get there based on how we where treated on the phone and in person and based on appearance and upkeep compared to online photos. From the research that I have done so far I Know these owners have done a lot of work to make this park nice and I can tell anyone that is reading these reviews now that this lady I & my husband have talked to several times over the phone has never been rude or condescending in any way at any time and in fact has been nothing but polite and very willing to help in every way possible, she has been very pleasant to deal with. So I am guessing that if she was a lil rude & condescending to Grant H. maybe he was having a bad day & was being a bit rude himself? We are all just human, prone to have flaws & make mistakes not be perfect, business owners or not, a business owner should not have to put up with rude & unruly customers just because your the customer doesn't make you right or privileged & just because you have money doesn't give you the right to be rude & obnoxious. It's not nice to leave bad reviews just because you were having a bad day you might consider being a decent human being and taking it down. Grant H. Have A Blessed day Today & Every Day.

Charming, Clean Urban RV Park with Great Hospitality…read more We decided to spend a night at The Camp after being drawn in by descriptions of vintage trailers, though we didn't end up seeing any during our brief stay. When we arrived, we accidentally pulled into the wrong campsite. The manager kindly pointed out our mistake, but rather than making us hitch back up and move, he generously let us stay in the spot we'd pulled into since it was right next to our assigned space. That extra bit of flexibility and hospitality was very much appreciated! The park itself was exceptionally clean and featured a great little dog park for our pet. I thought it was clever that the bathrooms and laundry facilities are housed in portable units, which surely keeps overhead costs down without needing permanent structures. However, the laundry facility was out of order during our stay. It also would have been nice to have a picnic table at our site; I noticed none of the sites had tables provided. Overall, it's a convenient, well-kept spot to stay in Bend, and we would happily return.
