This is a nice rv park. We were further away from the highway, so it wasn't too noise. The spot for your trailer is gravel, but there is a lot of green grass this time of year. Like the easy access from the freeway. Also you get a code to get in the gate. The staff was very friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again. RPI member

Some sites are fairly tight, while others had some nice room. The trails here were very enjoyable. Serene surroundings around the river and through the trees. We saw lots of deer, birds, and other critters scrambling about. I'm sure it would've had a slightly different feel during peak season, but we very much enjoyed our night and day of off season.

The campground is divided into three loops, each with its own character. The North Loop offers water and electric hookups, with sites that are more widely spaced than the others--something I really appreciate. That extra room makes it feel quieter and more private, and it's probably where we'll book our next stay. The Middle Loop has full hookups, while the South Loop is the busiest, featuring full hookups as well as some cabins. . There are many hiking/cycling trails (dog-friendly), and the Deschutes River runs through the campground. There is a short hike to a waterfall, and a large dog park. Unfortunately, we were a bit restricted in our outdoor activities because of the smoke from the two fires in the area. There was actually ash falling on one of the days. Also, there had been several sightings of a mountain lion in the area, so that added a bit of caution to our activities. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back.

I have done my research on this park and surrounding area and found it to be a real nice peaceful and serene area to stay, we travel every summer and research every place before making reservations or traveling, it makes for a more pleasant experience, I usually rate the places before & after we get there based on how we where treated on the phone and in person and based on appearance and upkeep compared to online photos. From the research that I have done so far I Know these owners have done a lot of work to make this park nice and I can tell anyone that is reading these reviews now that this lady I & my husband have talked to several times over the phone has never been rude or condescending in any way at any time and in fact has been nothing but polite and very willing to help in every way possible, she has been very pleasant to deal with. So I am guessing that if she was a lil rude & condescending to Grant H. maybe he was having a bad day & was being a bit rude himself? We are all just human, prone to have flaws & make mistakes not be perfect, business owners or not, a business owner should not have to put up with rude & unruly customers just because your the customer doesn't make you right or privileged & just because you have money doesn't give you the right to be rude & obnoxious. It's not nice to leave bad reviews just because you were having a bad day you might consider being a decent human being and taking it down. Grant H. Have A Blessed day Today & Every Day.

(No water in it and they just put up a new fence around it.) They have a playground which is nice, but it's just 4 swings (2 for babies) and a climbing structure. It looks like they took out 3 tennis courts and have 6 pickleball courts. They look pretty new and we had fun using them on our stay! The put-put golf course is still there, but it's looking pretty old. We did't notice anyone using it. There are baskets for a disc golf course, but I didn't see any info on it. I am guessing it's 9 holes. Maybe less? You can check out pickle ball racquets and balls at the office! They also have discs and golf clubs and balls. Just know you have to check out items before 4:30 when the office closes. This campground is quite large. Like previous reviewers the signage is horrible!! No directional exit signs, no loop signs on every loop entrance, and no obvious/easy to read signs with the site letter & number on it. It takes time to find your campsite! We were in loop K and we didn't like it a ton. There isn't a lot of trees/brush in between the sites like other loops and we had 3 other sites surrounding us. Pretty cool that it's on the Little Deschutes! When we arrived on a Friday night at 7pm, the office let us know that the water was off and would be on soon. We finally had water around 9:30pm! (I guess the water is an issue a lot - per other reviews.) I don't think we would stay at this campground again - but if they make some improvements, just its location would convince us to give it another try!

What we didn't expect was the absolutely first class experience of staying at this true RV resort! We arrived on a hot summer day, covered in dust from our forest adventures, and were glad that we could check in a bit early (we'd called from town and yes, our spot was already clean and available). Upon checking in at their extremely well-appointed (and very friendly) from office, we were guided to our site by a nice gentleman in a golf cart. He showed us around the site, including locating all of the plug-ins and informing us about when the lawn is watered daily so we could avoid being sprayed. He also told us about a few great perks, like just leaving your trash or recycling at the end of the campsite and it would be picked up hourly. Or the fact that their well-appointed on-site grocery store would deliver ice, beer, or pretty much anything you wanted to your site free of charge! Besides the over-the-top service, this resort is absolutely beautiful. There's a reason "garden" is in their name. The roadways were lined with all sorts of well-groomed plants and beautiful, blooming flowers. And there were constantly maintenance people around pruning, trimming, mowing, and just taking darned good care of the place. The resort also features a pool (which we didn't have a chance to enjoy), and (in addition to the well-stocked grocery store) an equally impressive RV parts shop and large gift/souvenir area as well. The only improvement I would personally make to this park is to offer some sort of shuttle to town, especially when there are events. But that's a minor critique as the location is just perfectly situated between Sisters and Bend, and within a few minutes drive of recreational opportunities and plenty of food. Highly, highly recommend staying here!

Charming, Clean Urban RV Park with Great Hospitality…read more We decided to spend a night at The Camp after being drawn in by descriptions of vintage trailers, though we didn't end up seeing any during our brief stay. When we arrived, we accidentally pulled into the wrong campsite. The manager kindly pointed out our mistake, but rather than making us hitch back up and move, he generously let us stay in the spot we'd pulled into since it was right next to our assigned space. That extra bit of flexibility and hospitality was very much appreciated! The park itself was exceptionally clean and featured a great little dog park for our pet. I thought it was clever that the bathrooms and laundry facilities are housed in portable units, which surely keeps overhead costs down without needing permanent structures. However, the laundry facility was out of order during our stay. It also would have been nice to have a picnic table at our site; I noticed none of the sites had tables provided. Overall, it's a convenient, well-kept spot to stay in Bend, and we would happily return.
