    Lake view from patio

After a few full days of camping nearby by our party decided to shower & get some food at the resort. We had a great meal by the lake & enjoyed some cocktails. The food was delicious & will be back to enjoy another summer! Thanks for the good time

During vivid, they've closed off their indoor seating, but that's even better. Now you sit out on the patio, overlooking the lake and shaded by tall evergreens. Lovely! The service was friendly and we were seated quickly, even just after noon on Sunday. They've taken back their menu a bit, which means they can focus on a few things really well. The cheeseburger on the menus were offered in a variety of sizes, all with mix and match additions: sauteed mushrooms, sauteed onions, etc. Sweet potato fries or double fried fries. Onion rings. All delicious. They were out of mozzarella sticks, but our server recommended the gouda bits which were actually delicious. The chicken ceaser salad wrap was a little too much salad and not enough chicken, but my sister in law still found it yummy. Our cheeseburgers weren't too dry, and they were huge. We love this place and we never miss a chance to stop on our way home from camping. Be warned though. Since it is part of a lake resort with campgrounds and a day use lake, parking is at a premium.

Really great place for a day trip and use. Good beach area with paddle board, kayak and paddle boat rentals. Restrooms are adjacent to the beach. Parking is no problem with a big lot. Bring your picnic goodies but beware of the little chipmunks and black birds.....they are fast and efficient at stealing your left out food...lol We were here in August and the water is really comfortably warm. Looks clean too. Nice restaraunt located a short walk from the beach with patio dining. Theres also cabin like rentals.

My husband and I ate there last night, heard the Prime Rib dinner was great, wrong. We had reservations, and were a little early, we were seated outside. We understood that there was a large party next to us, so our waitress was busy. When the dinner did come, the rolls were not done, actually cold & doughy in the middle, salad was wilted, bake potato was not done and the actual steak was 2/3 fat. We asked for medium, mine was well done and my husbands was rare, and his the cut was obviously cut somewhat thicker. Overall they have a lot to learn about dinner. Photo is what was left after we cut the fat off and came home. Would not recommend dinner there at this point.

August 26-29, 2025 - La Pine, OR…read more We've stayed at La Pine Campground a few times over the years, and each visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The campground is divided into three loops, each with its own character. The North Loop offers water and electric hookups, with sites that are more widely spaced than the others--something I really appreciate. That extra room makes it feel quieter and more private, and it's probably where we'll book our next stay. The Middle Loop has full hookups, while the South Loop is the busiest, featuring full hookups as well as some cabins. . There are many hiking/cycling trails (dog-friendly), and the Deschutes River runs through the campground. There is a short hike to a waterfall, and a large dog park. Unfortunately, we were a bit restricted in our outdoor activities because of the smoke from the two fires in the area. There was actually ash falling on one of the days. Also, there had been several sightings of a mountain lion in the area, so that added a bit of caution to our activities. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back.

We just stayed one night, right before the campgrounds closed for the year. The grounds were nicely…read moremaintained, and we enjoyed a very peaceful and quiet stay. Some sites are fairly tight, while others had some nice room. The trails here were very enjoyable. Serene surroundings around the river and through the trees. We saw lots of deer, birds, and other critters scrambling about. I'm sure it would've had a slightly different feel during peak season, but we very much enjoyed our night and day of off season.

What we didn't expect was the absolutely first class experience of staying at this true RV resort! We arrived on a hot summer day, covered in dust from our forest adventures, and were glad that we could check in a bit early (we'd called from town and yes, our spot was already clean and available). Upon checking in at their extremely well-appointed (and very friendly) from office, we were guided to our site by a nice gentleman in a golf cart. He showed us around the site, including locating all of the plug-ins and informing us about when the lawn is watered daily so we could avoid being sprayed. He also told us about a few great perks, like just leaving your trash or recycling at the end of the campsite and it would be picked up hourly. Or the fact that their well-appointed on-site grocery store would deliver ice, beer, or pretty much anything you wanted to your site free of charge! Besides the over-the-top service, this resort is absolutely beautiful. There's a reason "garden" is in their name. The roadways were lined with all sorts of well-groomed plants and beautiful, blooming flowers. And there were constantly maintenance people around pruning, trimming, mowing, and just taking darned good care of the place. The resort also features a pool (which we didn't have a chance to enjoy), and (in addition to the well-stocked grocery store) an equally impressive RV parts shop and large gift/souvenir area as well. The only improvement I would personally make to this park is to offer some sort of shuttle to town, especially when there are events. But that's a minor critique as the location is just perfectly situated between Sisters and Bend, and within a few minutes drive of recreational opportunities and plenty of food. Highly, highly recommend staying here!

I have done my research on this park and surrounding area and found it to be a real nice peaceful and serene area to stay, we travel every summer and research every place before making reservations or traveling, it makes for a more pleasant experience, I usually rate the places before & after we get there based on how we where treated on the phone and in person and based on appearance and upkeep compared to online photos. From the research that I have done so far I Know these owners have done a lot of work to make this park nice and I can tell anyone that is reading these reviews now that this lady I & my husband have talked to several times over the phone has never been rude or condescending in any way at any time and in fact has been nothing but polite and very willing to help in every way possible, she has been very pleasant to deal with. So I am guessing that if she was a lil rude & condescending to Grant H. maybe he was having a bad day & was being a bit rude himself? We are all just human, prone to have flaws & make mistakes not be perfect, business owners or not, a business owner should not have to put up with rude & unruly customers just because your the customer doesn't make you right or privileged & just because you have money doesn't give you the right to be rude & obnoxious. It's not nice to leave bad reviews just because you were having a bad day you might consider being a decent human being and taking it down. Grant H. Have A Blessed day Today & Every Day.
