He is not approachable, and usually makes some type of remark to make you think "why am I giving this guy my business?". We have been 4-5 times because it's the only place close to us with ice cream and putt putt, but he really could do much better at being personable and nice to his customers and workers. This has happened every time we have been, and I hope to give a better review next time we give this place a chance.

The clubs are new with excellent grips and the golf balls are in excellent shape too! The greens are clean and there are water features too. The holes are challenging and fun, with plenty of room for people to wait until the group before them finishes the hole. One of Papa Bear's best features is the excellent outdoor lighting that makes a late round of miniature golf most enjoyable! The snack bar is well stocked and the soft serve is one of the best I've had.... try the twist cone! Outdoor seating is plentiful and the washrooms are clean. The prices are reasonable and they even have coupons that make a family outing even more affordable. For it's a great place to take friends and family and it's the unofficial Training Camp for the golf tv show "Holy Moly"! Ok, I made that last part up, but it should be.

I was just glad they were open because it was national miniature golf day! $8.25 per person was a good deal for some fun. Rules can be a little lax with certain staff which makes it difficult to really know the "set rules". When it comes to safety and cleanliness I truly believe Sawmill is doing things right which is why as a parent I don't mind paying their slightly high prices.
