Fun miniature golf. The go-cart track is set above golf. Good location, good music, good prices. Fun!

I'm not sure why so many 1-2 star reviews! Upon our arrival the front desk was an easy check in!…read more We stayed in building 31A. The room was clean, beds where made, the floors honestly looked freshly swept or mopped. The a/c worked great and no smell to the room! Room service needs to be called in order for them to come to you, but I called around 2:30pm for new towels and they brought them not even 10 mins later! The showers are a good size and the bathrooms were clean! My lack of stars is actually for the pool area + arcade. I hate the time limits on things like the hot tub and warming pools. As well as not enough tubes for the lazy river/ rides! The arcade is also more for younger kids but no issue there other than the workers! The card machine ate $80 of cash and they said there was nothing they could do about it! I had to call and complain a few times for them to offer money back. But no one working on site was any help at all. Honestly horrible staff other than front desk and the room service! Overall super fun experience! 26F, 26M, 17M, 18 month baby and two 60yos!

I decided on this place since they had a few unique slides and such a unique look! plus you got 2 parks in one. I am not a go kart person and they have quite a lot of them. My husband enjoyed those. I just watched. I really wanted to try the roller coasters and I was so lucky with NO lines. The 4 wooden coasters are rough and very intense rides. Would I ride them again? Probably not. But I was so glad I could try them. The waterpark was fun. I did spend most of my time in the indoor portion. However, I really enjoyed the lazy river outside. The crazy wave pool with the 9 foot waves ... scary and crazy... Also not for me but I enjoyed people watching. The rotating slide is really why I was there. I never been on something like this. I think it's the only one in the USA and wow was it weird. It was really fun and different and something I will be probably never experience again. It can give you a little bit of motion sickness due to the movement but if that's not an issue for you, you should be good. I also love a good hot tub which they had. I definitely recommend and would love to come back. It was just so unique and fun.

Tom Foolery's is a large family fun complex with tons of things to outside the credit-hungry ticket producers and claw machines. With a limited amount of time and children 5 and under, we didn't utilize every offering inside the building but did note the many ways you could get lost into spending a lot of time here. A Ferris wheel, ropes course, bowling alley, and more all filled up the space. We ended up spending our time playing some racing games and simple 'skill' games with balls or simple mechanics the kids could handle. Our adventures landed us with an amount of tickets we redeemed for some trinkets on the way out. Overall a fun experience that could have led to more if we had the time. Would recommend checking it out as part of your Kalahari (or nearby) experience.

Tons of games and tons of fun for all ages…read more Our first introduction to all that is 'The Dells' included a trip to Tom Foolerys and so they always have a soft spot in my heart. Attached to the Kalahari, they've updated and rearranged a bit and there's even more fun to be had. They have a variety of indoor rides. Personally, I dig the indoor ferris wheel and could seriously go on that on repeat (but I happen to love a good ferris wheel). They also have go carts, arcade games (complete with prizes), ax throwing, bowling, mini golf, and more. If you get the day pass, the mini golf is included--just a word of warning, it's a serve yourself kind of situation and there were some kids running around and maybe being a little chaotic with it vs. taking it in order (if that makes sense). They didn't bother us to much and when we kindly asked if they could wait before playing on the hole we were on, they did so. But, I could see on busier days it getting kinda wild. They have a new winners shop. Previously, like many arcades, it was a counter where you could spend your winnings (aka tickets). Now, they have a full blown shop, which I'm sure the kiddos will enjoy. They also have a new little bar situation where you can get frozen drinks as well as snacks. All in all, they've grown and expanded. If I had small kids, this would be a gold mine. They could play the whole day away in here. Get to it!

Big Chief Go Karts - Fun times!

Big Chief Go Karts has the potential to be a fun family activity. The outdoor track itself is nice,…read moreand I can see why people are drawn to it. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it for younger kids because the safety measures simply aren't where they should be. There was very little guidance from staff, no shoulder harnesses, and no padding on the steering wheel. During parking, be prepared for kids crashing into the back of your kart, which resulted in more than a few cases of unexpected whiplash. What concerns me most is that this isn't a new issue. If you read through previous reviews, you'll find the same safety concerns being raised going back nearly 10 years. At some point, this stops being an oversight and starts looking like a choice. Height requirements alone aren't enough... there should also be a minimum age requirement (I'd suggest around 13 years old). For comparison, we also visited Tom Foolery's go-karts during our trip. They were actually $1 cheaper and had shoulder harnesses, padding, and a system that automatically slows karts down during parking and to help manage accidents. I truly hope Big Chief addresses these concerns, because with better safety standards, this could be a much different review.
