The place was well secluded and offered beautiful scenic views of the mountains and the lake behind the property. The lodge is perfect for meetings, events and even a nice place to take your loved one or a place to stay during the winter for snowmobilers. Other companies would charge full price for the dry hole rather than recycling the casing and permit. They also do not require extensive site prep like some of the other drillers do, again saving us money. From my initial request for a quote until they were on-site was less than 2 weeks. 2 days after starting we had a great well.

I spotted a few eagles from my balcony. Denise and Carey are wonderful hosts. When you arrive, Denise gives you a detailed overview of the property, the numerous amenities, and help with choosing a restaurant. After that, she leaves you to enjoy your privacy. If you need anything, all you do is text Denise and she responds right away. There are many places to hang out on the property, including on the dock, or on the patio in the shade, or on your balcony if you have the upstairs rooms. If you're wondering why there aren't many yelp reviews, that's because there are many reviews on Google. This is by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed, and I highly recommend it. Be sure to stay for at least two nights! There's a ton of lake activities in the area, and you might just want to spend a day lounging around the property.

We see the signage with the rules, no directions. So we see people walking up the road, so we assume that's what we should do too. We walk and walk, looking at trees, never seeing a single employee. I finally see another family and ask them the process of reserving a tree. They said they also have no clue and were also put off to see zero employees out to help. Needless to say we left without reserving a tree. I completely understand if it's a small family run business, but at a minimum maybe have some signage out to let people know where to go to get tags.
