We were in the Kipling suite which had a jet tub big enough for two people to swim is. It had a mini fridge, microwave, small coffee maker with coffee. A definite off the norm place to relax. The house is gorgeous and each suite is unique and spacious and comfortable. We felt at home sitting on the luxurious couch in the main living room in front of the fireplace with a view of the lake behind us. They had a Keurig machine with different kinds of coffee/tea/hot chocolate/hot cider to choose from. That was my my first experience using a Keurig and I had so much fun trying different kinds of coffee and tea and having it hot and ready within seconds. I enjoyed taking a hot cup of coffee and sitting in the gorgeous living room and just relaxing with my husband. They have 3 levels and you are welcome to hang out in the common areas on any floor. There are DVDs to watch and cable TV in each suite. I loved the huge tub with the jets in our suite--I took 2 long baths and we were only there one night. Breakfast is served in a lovely dining area with views of the lake. We had several courses--the first being a delicious fruit salad with pudding and a coconut sprinkle on top. The little shortbread bar with strawberries on top was delicious. The main dish was a french toast/bread pudding type of deal with blueberries and was warm and delicious. They refilled our juice and coffees as needed and were very courteous. I plan on going back to stay here in the summer so I can experience staying there in warmer weather. If you want a nice relaxing weekend away from home I highly recommend this place!! You will not regret staying here! P.S. We stayed in the River Suite--it was spacious and comfortable. Next time I'd like to stay in another suite that has views of the lake.

If you're looking to park your rv in one of the most magical places in all of Montana, you can rent a spot for $35/$45 depending on what electrical you need. Full hook ups included. And the host, Jim, is the best part. But I'll get to that. The rooms at this beautiful B&B are only $100 a night. Jim could EASILY charge $300 a night. Breakfast is included, and you have a private balcony overlooking the most beautiful valley I've ever seen. There are only 3 rooms available. And despite knowing he could charge way more, Jim wants to keep the rooms affordable so that anyone can enjoy them. I was passing through in my RV and it was getting late and I saw his large parking lot. I called him in hopes that he would have a quiet spot for me to park in, and I was more than happy to pay him. The voice on the other end of the phone was warm and welcoming, and said "sure come on by!" I never imagined he would have full hook ups and give me a guided tour of his beautiful bed-and-breakfast that he built by hand himself. Jim is one of the kindest, most welcoming people I've ever met. He made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. In the morning we stood on the huge balcony and had coffee together, watching the birds flutter about UNDER us. That's how high up you are!!! I really hope to be passing through again sometime. I slept upstairs, the fridge is a bit loud so bring earplugs. The bed is right next to the fridge. The portable air conditioning only available upstairs was also loud but better than not having air conditioning at all. I also with she had some Kleenex available. She didn't serve breakfast due to covid19. Her place is beautiful and the river is calm/shallow so perfect for kayaking. She let us use her paddle boards. Penny is very friendly. We got to see her other 2 rooms she rents out, they are very nice as well. I hope to come back again one day.

Joedella (sp), our host, was kind and informative. Recommend you take a box fan to put in your window in summer. There is no a/c, of course, and the rooms are hot and stuffy. It's a bit tricky driving up as it's a twisty mountain road and the…read morepavement ends about halfway up the mountain, but the unpaved section was very well maintained and my rental sedan had no issues with it. The view from the HUGE porch is lovely. There's tons of common "hang out" space both inside and out. If you play the piano or a string instrument there are instruments for use and that use is encouraged. There are a few friendly cats on the property. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom (shared with a couple in the next room) and there was never an issue. The bathroom had sinks with toilet and shower in a separate area with a door, so you could brush teeth while someone was showering with no issue. An extra half bath downstairs was helpful too. The decor was eclectic and fun and always something to look at. (One of the owners designed and created most of it himself.) There's wine out in the afternoon/evening and a lovely coffee and tea bar that's VERY well stocked. Breakfast had two time options and is served in individual servings and, in our case, a platter if fruit to pass. The breakfast was a cinnamon roll bread pudding and a veggie and potato frittata with sliced melon on the side. It was delicious and I enjoyed chatting with the other guests over the meal. Beds were comfy and wifi was solid. (I stayed in the three twins room - be aware that the third twin is lifted above the closet and entryway, so it may be cramped for a larger person.) I truly enjoyed my short stay here and will definitely visit again if I'm in the area!
