My backyard is shady, and with all the rain and runoff, my grass was just disappearing. I didn't like to go out there anymore. But Dave had a great thought of regrading it, and running some river stones through it to give the water a place to go, and a place for the grass to grow. He put an estimate together -- had some good options -- and we figured out the best one. The best part was his service. He said realistically it would be a month, but he called me a few days later and said he had something change in his schedule and could start in 4 days! That's "under promise and over deliver" in my book. The opposite of what many in the service industry do. He continued to go above and beyond -- even fixing a few things with my sprinkler system that he did not need to do. He came back to check on a few little areas, and made a very slight correction to a run off pipe. He said, " this works, but I can make it better. I'll take care of it for you." The Fescue is absolutely full of weeds - clover, crab grass, wild something rather, violets, etc. They aren't putting down pre-emergent and clearly nor do they put down post-emergent in the Fescue. I didn't have any weeds with previous lawn care company. They also sell the tree/shrub program based on fertilizer/pesticide/herbicide... except you don't actually get fertilizer. Disappointed in this. I don't dislike them and infact really like the people, but there seems to be some kind of disconnect between the ladies answering phones, owner, and applicator. Four of the ones that he planted for us died. He responded and scheduled a time to come and replace them. On the day he scheduled to come, he called and said that the roses were not in stock and would be the following Monday. I never heard from him the following Monday. His team them abruptly scheduled a date and time to come to plant something that I received via e-mail and didn't know on that date and time either, which was a Sunday afternoon. I kindly parked with flags the plants that needed to be replaced under the warranty from an over $1000 purchase I made on plants. The communication is subpar and I fear they do not want to fulfill the stipulations of the warranty on plants. Beware of this type of interaction and any promise they make on warranty fulfillment when you purchase services from this company.
