I let the lady know that we had turned off our heater to prevent any further damage and we're using space heaters to get by. She was 100% willing and helpful to get us booked until I mentioned that when she was available to send someone out. I had already requested another company because I anticipated this to be an expensive repair and I would like to get some estimates quickly. It was at this point that suddenly I could no longer fit on their schedule and I was directly told that I should just let the other company come out. When I asked if there was an issue that I was getting quotes, she said well. Let us know when you want to replace the unit and then offered to send someone out, but only if I was willing to tell them I was going to replace the unit right now. They had no intentions of even looking at the unit to try and repair it and are very obviously not looking for other companies to contradict their pricing or their desire to push you into the most expensive path. I am thoroughly glad they were not the first people to call because I very well probably would have ended up with a overinflated bill for what probably could have just been fixed. Do not use them!!!! Response to comment: your response may hold some merit as long as no one asked the simple question. Then why were you willing to send someone out to my house as long as I was willing to commit to replacing the entire unit sight unseen?

I was having trouble with a breaker in my fuse box so, after a Google search, I called and spoke with Bruce, who I've never met before. He said that before I incur the expense of a home visit and repairs, I should try a few things. He walked me through the process and sure enough it worked. My breaker was fine; it was a power strip that had gone bad, so the breaker, Bruce explained, was doing its job of keeping our house safe. That kind of upfront honesty and integrity can be rare. I didn't actually need Stansbury to come to my house today, but I will certainly be calling Bruce in the future if needed.
